The staff Jenn is so kind that to allow me to park my car in the hotel premises so that we can walk to Granite Island. The room is clean and obviously the furniture are all new. The room itself, along with the bathroom was pretty much what you'd expect for this style of hotel.

Kitchen falling apart and rotten, shower virtually scalding hot then cold, remote for TV didn't work, dirty carpet, fridge leaked, outside light didn't work, no heater apart from crappy little portable heater that would overheat and cut out, bedding stained, uncomfortable bed,carparking hit or miss. The only positive is the location lol

The only thing that could be accessed was TCL but it kept buffering so was impossible to watch. Very boring to just look at a black screen with nothing on it.

Karen (10/5): Great hotel in central Victor - We used our redemption night at this hotel. It was very central to everything, and no problem finding the place. Check in and out was a breeze, friendly staff and no keys needed, as a code was needed to enter your accommodation. Free Parking right by your door. We stayed in the executive room, which had kitchen facilities, comfy bed and good bathroom. Aircon and tv easy to use, free milk and fresh water in the fridge for us to use for our cuppas. Although we used a redemption night here, I'll definitely be staying again, next time we are in Victor.

Our stay in Victor Harbor was outstanding due in large part to our stay at the Pan Co. The location is wonderful as a short walk will take you anywhere you want to go. The staff is friendly and extremely accommodating and the layout of rooms makes for a quiet and relaxing environment.

358becs (6/5): Cheap but not cheerful - I choose this Motel as it’s meant to be non smoking in the grounds. It’s not. But there is rarely any staff on premises to enforce this. We had the room merry the BBQ area & that’s where the other guests chose to smoke. Not ideal. Room was a bit on the shabby side, ripped carpet, stains on pillow case. Check in is a text at 11am saying office will be closed, so here’s your door code. Room service is very hit or miss. You get clean towels or your bed made, not both. Bin emptied on the odd occasion, communal bin was outside our door so we did it ourselves. Car park is small, so be warned if you have a large vehicle & it’s first in gets best spot- so be prepared you may not get to park near your room. It looks cheap & cheerful on social media but really it’s just cheap.

Jenny (8/5): Pleasant 1 night stay - A pleasant 1 night stay in a clean and comfortable motel room. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful and check-in was very easy. We had everything we needed for our stay and the room was quite spacious. The bathroom was small but a nice shower with plenty of hot water. The position of the motel is very central to everything and was very quiet. We enjoyed sitting outside eating our fish and chips for tea.

julied399 (10/5): Cheap cheerful great location ....and CLEAN - After visiting our accommodation at three times the price at kings retreat that was grubby and I didn't want to take food into or sleep ...looked at this cheap and well located motel type accommodation and switched instantly ...yes not fancy... pretty basic but clean well equipped and fantastically located for the victor harbour ....parked the car and spent a wonderful 2 days out and about here ...managed some washing as touring so that was a bonus 🤗 reception was particularly kind and accommodating

194percys (8/5): Central to everything - The Comfort Inn (formerly the Comfort Inn Colonial - Victor Harbor) is slightly dated in its appearance and some of the decor. However, the rooms are clean and spacious, it is central to everything. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. Great place to relax. There is a microwave, tea and coffee facilities, toaster and fridge but it was lacking any crockery or knives or forks beyond a couple of glasses, mugs and teaspoons. - so be warned you may need to bring your own if you want to be self sufficient. Despite being near a main road and a laneway backing on to the Hotel Victor and other local cafes the rooms were very quiet.

Air con is smelly and had to run for while. Rooms looks dirty. If I had a choice I would avoid this place. I have stayed in multiple comfort inns, but this is average.
CatherineB013 (10/5): Central Accomodation - We stayed at this motel a few weeks ago in an upstairs king room. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. Nick in the office was very efficient and helpful with local information. The motel has 24 hour checkin with a machine outside the office door. If you have a booking you can access your key at this machine whatever time you arrive. The motel is very close to good eating places and a nice walk to the new bridge to get to granite island. There is plenty of onsite parking.
deborahcB3320GE (2/5): Don’t do it !!!!!! - A 1970’s room where the stench of bleach hit is as soon as we opened the door. Dark room with old torn curtain and plastic shower curtain. Never ever again. It’s not the place to stay if you want comfort.
DocM1818 (6/5): Great location, but room needs attention and basic attention to hygiene. - Location is excellent. Parking is easy, right outside your door. Accomodation is cheap and good value. I stayed in a kitchenette unit. It was untouched and like in its original state from the 1950s or so, which could be off-putting or interesting depending on your interests. From the unplastered brick walls to the wooden food hatch, where in the olden days breakfast would be brought and positioned in the hatch by staff. There’s an old “Envoy” white plastic push button phone for local calls and to call reception, from circa 1980 or so….I’d have no clue. I posted a photo, you can check it out. There’s an old sofa bed in the room with frayed material, you really would not feel comfortable sitting on. The bed was soft and comfortable. It was quiet. Two issues disappointed: 1. The room had an old musty stale smell. 2. The cutlery, crockery and kitchen cleaning utensils were old. Only one old wine glass. Old un-matching crockery. Cutlery that was old, faded, and looked awful and unclean, like you felt uncomfortable using them. The sponge and wash cloth was old and had been re-used too many times. Felt unhygienic.

We paid $660 for three nights which we knew was excessive however it was New Years and we needed a little getaway. We booked the spa room as looking at the pictures it looked lovely with a spa in the corner of the open room. When we arrived we checked in and when we got into our room it was no more than a spa squished into the bathroom which barely fit one adult. Disappointed and feeling ripped off to say the least.
AussieJules1970 (6/5): Average...that's it. - We stayed here 2 nights during school holidays as a spur of the moment getaway. Most places we looked at staying in were booked out so this is where we ended up. Best thing about this place is the location. Walking distance to beach, restaurants and cafes, supermarket, etc. Check in was basic with a 'hello', sign the form, here's your key...thank you. Room needs updating. Flooring and tiles are 70s style brown. Brown brick and brown cupboards so all that makes the place dark. As someone with long hair I didn't mind the shower pressure and the shower head was high enough for me to stand under without having to crouch down. We has the corner room upstairs #7 and could hear the neighbors a door or 2 down. Luckily we only had the noise coming from one side of our room. Wifi wasn't the best but certainly not the worst I've experienced. The connection seems to drop out but then comes back and at times can be a slowish. Would I stay here for more than a couple nights? Probably not. It's too dark and dated which can be depressing after any more time than that.
