• Warnasuriya Tissera (9/5): Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come again when we are in Sydney. - Absolutely loved the place. Was clean, comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. Location was very convenient for our two day trip to explore Sydney city. There was a designated secure parking slot for the apartment.

• Lesley (9/5): Home away from home!! - Check-in information was easy to follow. Apartment was clean, comfortable and pleasantly furnished. Location is great as well. The last two times I stayed, we were on ground floor, which I preferred. This time we were on top floor. I’m all for extra steps but trudging up and down 6 flights of stairs to unload and pack car, not to mention take my dog to toilet became a bit tedious.

• Ryan (8/5): Quiet and Cute. - Great location, rooms were a good size, layout was good. Collection of keys was easy. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything in the room next to you. Tumble dryer didn’t really dry clothes. Front door bangs really loud if you let go of it.

• Tiahnne (9/5): Perfect location, comfortable and very clean. Nice new modern apartment - Perfect location for a family wanting to explore all things Sydney! Sound proofing needs work.
• Sonam (10/5): - I traveled with a family of two and stayed in a two-bedroom unit. The apartment was clean and conveniently located near the city centre and public transport, which were all within walking distance. If you rented a car, there was also a parking space available. Apartment exactly as shown in the pictures. Quiet neighbourhood.

• Sian (8/5): So glad we stayed in Neutral Bay. Daily ferry rides a highlight! - Loved the location, only a 10 min walk to ferry and a quick 10 min ferry passing opera house and harbour bridge into the CBD.( Incredibly cheap to use the ferry too).Quiet friendly leafy neighbourhood location with great cafe and Lebanese restaurant at ferry terminal. Apartment was new, clean, great kitchen, comfy beds, stylish interior, good WiFi. We were near the main from door on ground level and this was a heavy metal door which was noisy and clanging shut regularly as all tenants used it. The main doors of each apartment also noisy and could be heard banging shut throughout building. Lack of soundproofing through whole building, between floors and in stairwell meant regularly disturbed.

• Uday K (9/5): Very comfortable stay. - Cosy and clean apartment. Quiet location and easy access to shops , walkways and great views. No lift in the building - upon arrival had to climb the stairs and carry heavy bags to 2nd floor. Garbage bins were overflowing with rubbish - need more bins for dwellers in the block.

• Isabella (9/5): Nice apartment. Great location. Easy parking. - Great location with a clean, modern apartment. Parking was easy. Even with a second car, we had no trouble finding a spot on the street. Would absolutely stay again. I didn’t receive the check-in instructions, even after completing the online check-in, but a quick call to the host resolved it promptly and they sent through the access codes. The body wash dispenser was empty on arrival, but luckily we had brought our own.

• Melanie (7/5): Nice aesthetic in good neighbourhood - The aesthetic, the space, and the view were great. The parking situation was not explained well. We were given a garage the car couldn't fit in, and it's an average sized car. We had to go inside, up 2.5 flights of stairs to get the remote before parking. None of this was explained prior. The fan in the bedroom was noisy. There was an ac in the living area, but it didn't affect the temperature in the bedroom. The bathroom had a weird, mouldy smell. I believe it was the drain in the shower that had not been properly cleaned in some time. The floor was dirty, as highlighted by the white bathmat. The walk anywhere included steep hills.
• Elaine (9/5): Really lovely, comfortable place to stay. - Great apartment, very clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Thoughtful additions such as yoga mat and weights. Glad we were on the ground floor as we had a pram and there are steps to each level. Some of the kitchen items were very worn, for example frying pans with the Teflon all peeling away, cracked glass; the soap and shower gel dispensers were empty o arrival. But a quick call to the number provided and all were sorted the next day so customer service was easy to contact and very responsive.

• Scott (10/5): Nice place with easy access to transportation. - Nice location if you want to be on the north side of the harbour. Nice neighborhood. Quite a few shops pretty close to the location. Plenty of restaurants to choose from as well. Didn't realize until we got the welcome letter that the apartment would be up some stairs with no lift. This was a bit of a challenge for my wife and would have been good to know ahead of time.

• Sonia (8/5): A picture of tranquillity & bliss marred by repeated noise disturbances in the morning - Decor; neighbourhood; tranquility (except for the unbearably noisy mornings we experienced); smart TV; full range of high quality appliances For most of the mornings we stayed there, it was intolerably noisy. Doors of the other apartments kept getting slammed in the loudest fashion; the noise reverberated throughout the entire building. It was a huge turn-off and would be a strong factor against coming back. Not sure if the door slamming noise was the result of poor design or the way fellow residents or cleaners like to exit their apartments. The bathroom door could not be closed easily; we had to lift the door up and push it up into the hinge in order to close, which is a hassle. The shower glass walls were ineffective in keeping water in; as a result, the bathroom floor right outside the shower gets very wet. However, we were only provided with one bathroom mat for a 4-night stay. Would make more sense to provide spare ones given how wet it gets; the mat we had became drenched and yellow after 3 nights. The shower was completely blocked when we arrived with hair and stuff ( at least not cleaned for 1 month), I had to spend 30 mins unblock the slot drain myself, but all the other facilities were clean.
• Samantha (10/5): 10 days while in - Well equipped with basics like salt, pepper, coffee pods, laundry detergent etc. Everything we needed for at least the first few days. There were no tea towels provided. And we would have appreciated a baking tray. But we made do on both counts, so no drama.

• Adrian (9/5): Superb - Very nice place to stay. Good communication - ferry and buses are 10 minutes walk. Aparment is spacious and clean. Neighborhood is quiet so you dont have to worry about noise. Beds were comfy. If you want to park a car be careful as the driveway is very narrow.

• Fiona (10/5): A hidden gem! - Ultra tastefully decorated. Sublimely comfy bed. I had a bit of trouble climbing the stairs. But as I booked late-ish I’ll KNOW to try to avoid that next time.
• Janani (9/5): A happy and pleasant stay! - Everything was clean and tidy The bathroom floor gets wet easily and there wasn't any floor mat ,so the whole apartment got wet if someone went in to the bathroom and came back with wet feet. It is good if you can provide a floor mat and wiper to clean the bathroom

It was beautifully designed to maximise space and anything needed was supplied including full sized toiletries. The location was perfect. The driveway was extremely narrow and the car park was very small. A large car would not have been able to access this and street parking was extremely limited.

One of the main reasons we chose Urban Rest was that it offered off-street parking which is a real plus in that area. Unfortunately, the garage roof was so low that we ended up having to park our vehicle on the street.

Really clean with so much storage space in the kitchen and bedrooms. - Location is great - 10 min walk to the main street, with tons of restaurants, grocery stores, and main bus stop. Also a ferry nearby so you can get to Circular Quay from that way. - Pet friendly - Very fast and easy to coordinate with the host - accommodated my late check out request - The main door is really loud when opening and closing - creaks when opening, and you have to be careful when closing our else it will slam loudly on you. It's also not an automatic locking door, so make sure to lock it before you head out. - The shower door isn't fitted well so the bathroom floor with the bath mat is always wet after showering. - I couldn't get the bathroom or kitchen windows open but I'm not sure if it was just a me issue. Stayed when it was storming on one of the days and wanted to help air out the place. - Would be great if there was an air freshener provided in the bathroom lol

• Sarah (10/5): It really was an exceptional first experience of using an Urban Rest property. Communication, check in, all facilities, - Such a pleasantly decorated and set up apartment. So much space and everything was clean, easy to find and of good quality. There wasn’t anything I didn’t love. Some of the other occupants were noisy on one night but that is always a possibility when living in an apartment.

• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Was really impressed. The property is a small refurbished block of apartments with easy to access parking (which is a big plus as on street parking is not easy). It is 7 minutes walk to the ferry wharf, 10 minutes walk up to Military Road (The Oaks is a great place to eat of just have a drink). Overall the apartment was well furnished and we had three people and didn't feel to crowded. The shower door was not fitted well, so with every shower came a very wet floor, but not a massive problem.

The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly. Importantly for us, they are pet friendly. With a six night stay, the couch was very hard and uncomfortable. Not really something you might want to spend an evening relaxing on as the seat is very hard.

• Daria (9/5): Had a fantastic stay in Sydney. The apartment was perfectly located for our requirements, and was very pleasant. - Location, very airy, decor good. Comfortable beds, good shower. Big kitchen which was reasonably well equipped. Unfortunately the channel the soccer was on would not tune in. We tried several times, but understand this is a known problem in the area with channel 7. Flat was not as clean as it could’ve been - floor felt like it had not been vacuumed with sand and dirt in corners. Could have done with more towels.

• Rachael (9/5): Superb - Lovely, spacious, modern apartment on a quiet safe street. Had great facilities and lots of helpful, thoughtful touches like salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen. We had no problems checking ourselves in and it was great to have free parking available behind the building. We caught the ferry every day in to the city centre (which was very easy and the views are amazing) and also used the nearby buses. We would love to see a pull out sofa bed or trundler bed available for families of five. This time we were travelling as a family of four but would love to stay again with all our family members.
