The location didn't feel unsafe (I would recommend for solo traveling), the staff was helpfull, the metro/bus stop was close. The only disadvantage would be that it was a little bit far from the most visited places but its really no big deal, you can reach everything with metro.

Le personnel était particulièrement accueillant et sympathique, toujours prêt à rendre service. Seul petit bémol : l’insonorisation pourrait être améliorée, car on entend un peu les bruits des autres chambres. Mais dans l’ensemble, une bonne expérience !

Nel bagno una bella doccia grande, viceversa lavandino un po' troppo piccolo e scomodo per lavarsi la faccia. Unica pecca la colazione, non all'altezza del prezzo.

Portaria 24h e a localização é excelente próximo a estações de metro e uma das linhas com integração para vários lugares inclusive os pontos turísticos mais famosos, voltaria e recomendo. Uma dica que ajudaria muito os viajantes seria um frigobar no quarto mas nada que mude a experiência.

• Melissa (2/5): Terrible - Abysmal space and terrible service - impossible to stay here and especially do not come as a couple, it's the most romantic place on earth. Noisy, cheap, bad location, etc.
• Melissa (2/5): Immediately no... - I had a terrible experience at this hotel to the extent I left and didnt even finish my stay and left after 2 nights. There is probably 1 staff member for the entire hotel, so when I arrived in the afternoon I waited for 20 minutes bc the desk was empty - when I called the number the phone on the desk just rang and no one came. Overall the hotel has a overwhelming feeling of cheapness - lots of plastic, thin walls, not super clean space. The room itself was extremely small, which could be fine but the noise, thin walls, and poor setup was an extreme turnoff. (no mattress pad on the bed, extremely thin cheap towels, etc). The bathroom is so small as a petite woman my knees hit the wall. As I was having a friend join me, I decided to change hotels as this room is impossible for two people. I had paid extra fees upon check in for an additional guest, which the hotel refused to refund even though I left early, and the second guest never came. Overall, I would never step foot in this hotel again and do not recommend unless you are on a low budget and dont care much about where you stay. Its also very far from the fun parts of Paris.
• Helene (6/5): Correct - Hôtel simple déco style Ikea Le matelas est confortable et pas de nuisances sonores la nuit. Juste des petites choses pourraient être modifiées. La chambre que j'ai eu est aménagée PMR au RDC. Les patères sont trop hautes. Ensuite, les parois de douche sont en réalité des parois de baignoire avec un jour en-dessous important ce qui entraîne une inondation au sol dans toute la salle de bain c'est désagréable. Dans la salle de bain il n'y a pas de surface pour poser ses affaires. Dernier point, il n'y a pas de table de nuit.

• Servaas (8/5): - My (single) room was not very spacious, but it was very well equiped and comfortable. The bed was excellent and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was good. The hotel is in a quiet street, nearby shops, restaurants and the metro. All in all it was very positive.

Staff were unfailingly helpful and very pleasant. Surroundings are great for shops and on the run food options as well as sit down ones and particularly liked the Rue des Boulets area. Excellent transport links too. Will stay again if possible to get a booking.

We opted for a small room as planned to be out so we knew we would have a lot of room, but the closet was a decent size and had ample hanging area too. Comfy bed and a/c was great as Paris was having very hot weather. Location perfect for access to RER and Metro. Great local restaurants too.

Quiet location for a good nights sleep and easily accessible by public transport. Short & direct journey into central Paris. Rooms small but functional, clean and modern. Although not used there was a good variety of local amenities; bars, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Only down side is that the walls are paper thin, you have to specifically ask at the front desk to get the heat/aircon ‘activated’, and a small point but we asked for ice and they didn’t have any. They said they would get some for the next day but this never happened. Not a big deal though. Would stay again.

The only downside was that the soap provided in the shower was a combined hair, body and hand soap, so you might want to bring your own shampoo and shower gel!

• Darren (8/5): Great hotel, some noise though - We stayed in a double room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and well presented. It was clear that the room had been recently renovated. Room decor is modern, with stylish ginko wallpaper and a relaxing green, white and wicker theme. Bed was comfortable and we both slept well. The room had a wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and three shelves. Enough space for two people's clothes for a week. There was also a small desk, with kettle and coffee/tea making facilities. Ensuite bathroom has a rain shower. In relation to some other people's comments about the noise from the stairs. Yes, it is possible to hear people coming down the staircase, but don't think this warrants a complaint. Most people were stepping and talking quietly. I'm sure people passed who made no noise at all. The chairs are another matter however. We could hear other people moving chairs in the rooms all around us. It was very loud and annoying. And I guess the noise from our chair was also annoying for other guests. We tried to avoid moving it at all. I was woken a few times by the noise of chairs from other rooms. But only momentarily There is no option to not have housekeeping in your room. I did ask specifically for housekeeping to leave my room alone. But the tidied it anyway. Which I found very annoying. Don't forget your shower gel. There is some supplied but it feels like it's too diluted.
• John (10/5): - I'm really happy I chose District Nation for my Paris trip. It was perfect for my needs, and the proximity the Metro allowed me to get just about anywhere I wanted to go in the city. Staff were friendly and the room was kept up nicely. I'd definitely stay here again!

• Bethany (8/5): - We stayed at this hotel for three nights - arrived late in the evening on the first night so was grateful for the 24hr reception. Things we liked about the hotel were it’s location (very close to a lot of public transport), friendly staff and generally very clean and tidy place. The I would say the main disappointment was the fact that our room was separated over two floors - I hadn’t perceived this was an option from the photos when making the booking. The downstairs area was bathroom and table/chairs. The upstairs area was bed, coffee table and small wardrobe. But the bed was so close to the top of the stairs that if you slept on one side you had to be careful when getting in and out of bed. Also on that same side was a low diagonal beam and a cupboard - very much a squeeze. One night I got up and hit my head very hard on the low beam because I couldn’t see it in the dark. I think it would be worth having something to protect the beam.

There were two metro stations nearby that took us to the main attractions in Paris so it was well located. Very new-feeling and had everything we needed.
• Nicola (10/5): - We were welcomed by a really lovely young man on reception. Room was clean and neat, and everything worked. Tea and coffee-making and mini-kitchen were a nice touch. Beware very low beams in certain places - I hit my head on one of them. Hard. Hotel very much recommended. For dinner, we recommend nearby Loulou or the Ethioian places opposite Loulou.
