The bed was super comfortable, however the pillows were not to our liking, way too soft (worked out some better comfort on our 2nd night). The decor was lovely, and gave a sense of warmth. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Such a well located hotel, so many dining options in the suburb behind, and some great little wine bars. Plenty of transport options and very walkable. We would absolutely stay here again.

- 35Anne195735 (10/5): Lovely hotel in Surry Hills - Fabulous hotel near to Central Station. This was our last stay on a 5 week trip and we very much enjoyed our stay. Dylan was on hand with recommendations for local restaurants which was much appreciated. The room was nicely appointed although as has been mentioned before there was a lack of storage so we couldn’t easily unpack. Breakfast was included, a simple selection of yoghurt, fruit, toast, pastries etc but more than adequate. We also very much enjoyed our post dinner drinks on the roof terrace when the weather allowed. This hotel offered everything we needed with good transport links into the city within easy walking distance.

The room was ready early, it was clean and modern, but the biggest thing that stood out was the staff. They were so incredibly helpful and friendly! They gave us great restaurant suggestions and tips for visiting important locations, such as best things to see and transit directions. And wow did they make a great cappuccino for breakfast! The locations was fantastic too, very easy to see everything within Sydney and lots of great bars nearby Five stars all around!

Wish I could have stayed longer.

The room was very small and not as clean as expected, with soap residue left on the taps, hairdryer bag was full of dust. Additionally, two of the power outlets were not functioning, and there was no toothbrush /toothpaste kit provided—something that should be provided in a hotel in this category. The breakfast experience was also disappointing. I overheard a staff member telling a guest, ‘Oh, lucky you, you got the last piece of croissant,’ yet no effort was made to refill the basket, despite there being 45 minutes left before breakfast service ended. Dog treat and dog toy was a good touch, good location.
- Olklab (10/5): 10/10 value! - We stayed at 202 Elizabeth Hotel recently, and it was such a great experience. The location is super convenient—just a few minutes’ walk from Central Station, so getting around Sydney was really easy. The area also has tons of great cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was clean, modern, and really cozy. The bed was super comfortable, and the rain shower in the bathroom was a nice touch. I loved waking up and having their continental breakfast, which was included in the price. They had fresh pastries, cereals, fruit, and really good coffee. It felt like such a nice way to start the day without having to leave the hotel. For what you get, the price is very very reasonable. It feels like a high-end boutique experience without breaking the bank. The staff were also so friendly and helpful—they gave me great tips on places to eat and things to do. Overall, 202 Elizabeth is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Sydney. Comfortable, stylish, and good value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again! We had booked through Agoda (never again!), who changed our booking without telling us. Left the hotel in an awkward position, but Sam the manger was great.
- 844edwardj (8/5): No place for anything and nothing in it's place. - So So wanted to give this hotel a 5 star review, and for many reasons it deserved it. Staff were super helpful from early check-in to interest in every aspect of our planned days. Breakfast was continental, basic offering but well presented. Nibbles put out at 5 30 for an early evening mingle. Location was perfect, close enough for a walk to Circular Quay and right next to Central Station with train, tram and bus options. Elizabeth st exit from Central was just 8 minutes walk to the hotel. Everything perfect, well not quite, depending on your length of stay. Storage in the room inadequate, just one rack for hanging clothes. No wardrobe, no drawers in fact we lived out of suitcases for our 7 nights. Clothes and cases all over the place, trip hazards abound, and we were in an upgraded room utilising the balcony for storage. Now, if you travel light for 1 or 2 nights no problem, but accepting a 7 night booking with full knowledge of storage issues is a bit naughty.

We were a three generation family and dined nearby - The Rover, Nomad - saw a musical at Capitol Theatre and walked to George St light rail. (Also across the road from Central Station). Attentive staff - the gentleman who checked us in was charming and gave my mum and I flowers for Mothers Day!

- Jill (8/5): Lovely staff but dodgy breakfast. - Everything was lovely but breakfast was disappointing. The poor fellow working alone was run ragged keeping up with everything. And the coffee! It tasted off both mornings. The milk was either sour or the machine hadn’t been cleaned. The juice supply was not replenished, he had no time! Couldn’t even ask him. And hard bagels are a strange choice for toast. And where was the vegemite, peanut butter and honey?

- tracylondon (10/5): Excellent service, great location - I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. It’s not a stellar street, directly opposite the train tracks but once you’re inside, it’s lovely. My room was quiet and away from the noisy street with its own terrace. It felt spacious, light and modern. The reception staff were absolutely amazing. There were about 4 of them interchangeably when I was there and they all showed the highest standards of service which I would more commonly associate with a luxurious 5 star hotel. The breakfast was a lovely touch. I would definitely stay again - it’s a good location for central Sydney and very peaceful.

- Prabhjot (10/5): - Likes: The property was easy to find, clean, suitably appointed rooms, and was in a good area with plenty of dining options around. Dislikes: We had asked about parking options at the time of reservation and were advised there are provisions for $49/day which we were happy to pay. The morning of our stay we called to confirm the location and were advised there is a Wilson carpark on Goulburn St. where we should park. We arrived to Sydney and tried to locate this Wilson carpark for 20-25 mins but could not find it. We called the reception again and were told "I can't help you, everyone else is able to find it rather easily, try to look again" and so we decided to just park in the Secure car park which was nearby as we were now running late for our show. At checkout we came to know that t was indeed the Secure carpark where we should have parked all along!
- katygI9479PW (8/5): A Home Away From Home - Great little gem at the heart of Sydney CBD. So much to love!! Love that it is a small and intimate establishment where the staff get to know the guests really well. The service is top-notch. Lachlan made us feel very welcome! Love the decor too; the yummy breakfast, free on tap sparkling mineral water in the foyer after a day out. A home away from home ❤️

- Francisco (8/5): - Our check-in process and reception was by far one of the best we have had, Lach did an excellent job welcoming, explaining and giving all the tips and tricks with charisma and professionalism. We travel a lot and his job was extraordinarily well done. The place looks well decorated, the area is walkable to light rail (tram), trains and touristic areas. The breakfast is rather simple, not bad but far from extraordinary. Cleaning can be better.
- Izabela (10/5): - Lovely lobby and rooms. Comfortable bed. Great location, many walkable areas. Didnt hear any road noise. Definitely coming back.
- rickl441 (10/5): Small and special, sure to return. - Check in was super easy, staff very helpful. Parked a block away at Secure Parking on Goulburn, then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Very secure, very new, very nice. Room was small but bed was comfy, shower and facilities were perfect. Given location, noise was near non-existent. Cant speak highly enough, and for the time we were in Sydney, very reasonable rates. Only a small window for breakfast, but then again, only 38 rooms in the hotel.
- aussiebrissiebabe (10/5): Fabulous boutique hotel - Absolutely fabulous! Booked a standard room and received a fantastic upgrade to a room with a huge terrace! Very very clean, good bed, double glazing so cannot hear ANY traffic, very friendly staff, and continental breakfast included. Gorgeously furnished, large roof terrace with very comfortable chairs and couches. Little piece of paradise! Will most definitely return, thank you so much for looking after us
- Annaliese62 (10/5): Stunning Hotel - Absolutely divine little hotel which was an absolute treasure of a find! The staff made us feel like family and were beyond helpful and friendly with tips and information about where to find things locally On arriving at the hotel I was immediately seduced by divine fragrances, a discrete entrance and cosy intimate surroundings. The design and feel of the place is a whole new interpretation of what a hotel can be, it's a feeling of staying in a small but highly curated space, or of staying with friends. The daily breakfast was generous and we loved the sparkling water fountain where guests can fill up their water bottles daily, So many unique and thoughtful touches in this hotel which surprised and delighted us. The location is fantastic - a short walk to Central Station, several major bus routes and surrounded by interesting businesses and restaurants.

- wjen9237 (10/5): Comfortable stay at 202 Elizabeth - Lovely new boutique hotel in an area that felt a bit similar to Soho, close to Central train station. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are compact but have everything you need and was sufficient space for 2 people, and very comfortable.
- Ellisthis (4/5): Nice rooms, However faulty, loud aircon system that resulted in zero sleep! - Lovely small hotel, nice rooms & a good check in process. Unfortunately I had a faulty aircon / heating unit that was flashing with an error code, due to the fault I was unable to control the temperature or the fan. The unit would power up constantly & was unbelievably loud & make clunking sounds that I could even hear through my headphones. I didn’t even get an hours sleep the entire night. The night concierge came up twice at around 1am / 2am and wasn’t much help. Said there was no point moving me to another room as they were all the same! I doubt they all had faults & didn’t find this helpful at all. I had to be up at 5am for a flight & being awake all night trying to resolve the issue was absolute hell. I was told that other people had called down that night to ask how to turn their units off as they were so loud. I am surprised no one followed up with me after my stay, I find that quite poor. This was for a work trip & we were looking for a regular, nice hotel in the area, its a shame that it didn’t meet basic requirements of being able to get a goods nights rest.
