Guest Reviews
- Jesse (10/5): Perfect private stay - Amazing scenery
- Lee-Anne (6/5): enjoyable off grid out in the country - the quietness amongst the vines and open countryside around us One of the Blinds on the door was missing. which let the light in very early AM.
A touch expensive.
the midgees were out at dusk.
- Keng Peng (6/5): Beautiful and short getaway. - Location is beautiful. The cabin needs a bit of maintenance exterior. Eg. Cladding is a bit weathered.
- Brendan (6/5): -
- Catrina (7/5): Great little quiet getaway. Would be great in winter with a little fire as well. - The location was private within a vineyard. We had a kangaroo family nearby both dawn and dusk. We didn't close the blind and the view from the main bed was lovely. There was just a throw rug on one of the bunks, no quilt. When we asked for a quilt for the 2nd night we were told there was a rug ... no quilt. They slept on the one single bed as it was cold.
- markus (9/5): super tiny house in toller lage...man muss allerdings ein auto haben - alles...sehr originell und wunderschön mitten im weinberg gelegen.. alkes gut
- Lana (10/5): Amazing, tranquil and romantic - Serenity It was quite hot even if we pulled the blinds down. Wouldn’t recommend staying December to Feb probably too hot
- Kate (5/5): - Lovely location Broken blind. Broken soap dispenser. Have had better value accommodation
- Nikita (9/5): We had a very comfortable stay in the Tiny Cabin! All necessary amenities were included for a short stay and entry to th - Perfect secluded location - felt very private and comfortable for 1 night stay! The complimentary wine was a lovely touch! The air-con and ceiling fan were much appreciated despite being solar run and off-grid! The shower not having a screen was slightly inconvenient as the whole bathroom gets wet quickly and drenched the bath mat. The blind on the door needs replacing and didn’t block out much light in the morning.
- yang (10/5): -
- Rajesh (8/5): Do try this.. Its a life time experience - The location Space inside was little small
- Chris (8/5): Loved our stay...perfect for a short getaway with amazing views of nature and wildlife. We had a fam - Location was amazing. Emersed in nature and wildlife was the best part about the stay and not one other person was on the property apart from our family. Perfect photo opportunities of birds right outside the cabin and waking up to the view was wonderful and relaxing. Having just the moon as night light was incredible, felt like we were sleeping under the stars but in comfort. Comfortable cabin with basic facilities that we needed. Great views from every window even the bathroom. Everything was close to drive to, town, wineries walking trails, etc. Comfortable for 3 even though it fits 4. Luckily our older son didn't come as the top bunk was way too high that there wasn't much room at all from the ceiling. Beds and linen, towels etc were clean and well presented but the benches and floor needed a much better clean. There was heaps of dust on surfaces and when we moved the floor bin there was a pile of dead bugs, obviously the bin wasn't moved when floor was vacuumed. We thought the windows would've been cleaned prior to our stay as that was the main feature of the cabin the views from our beds. They were quite smudgey unfortunately.
- Rory (9/5): - The location is beautiful and very secluded, and we loved watching the wildlife hop past the windows as the sun set. Not a black mark on the operator, but my only complaint is that we arrived quite late and there was a swarm of insects trying to get into the cabin. They did offer bug spray under the sink, but if youre bug adverse keep that in mind.

- Princess Victoria (10/5): A perfect peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, ideal for celebrating special moments. 💛 - We absolutely loved the peaceful and secluded location. Perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from the busy world. The cabin was beautifully designed, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed waking up to nature views and the calming atmosphere. It was the perfect place to celebrate my husband’s birthday and create special memories together. Nothing — everything was amazing!
- rana (8/5): -
- Stefan (6/5): - Amazing location and cabin is very clean. Almost impossible to have a decent sleep as we had hundreds of mosquitoes in the cabin.
- Lara (8/5): -
- Andreas (10/5): Amazing - Amazing!! It was so cosy in there and it’s located in nature. We loved the cosy wake ups with morning coffee in nature and cosy evenings in front of the fire place. We had everything we needed! ❤️ That we couldn’t stay longer.

- Cory (10/5): Don’t miss out on a night in Barossa Valley under the stars - Remote, easy check in, beautiful location Nothing

- Jade (10/5): -
- nabilah (8/5): - Amazing spot.
- Manjiri (10/5): Luxurious, comfortable and worth revisiting. - Beautiful setting, sauna was exceptional and the heating was beautiful and warm. Would definitely go back again. No changes are needed.
- Leandra (8/5): - It was a private location with plenty of outdoor space. The place itself is a bit smaller than expected, and the bed was quite hig,h making it a bit tricky to get on.
- Dean (10/5): -
- leonie (9/5): - Setting is amazing, really loved reading our books with the kangaroos and sleeping next to the stars. There was a gorgeous view and the location was really good. The layout is a little odd with bad shower drainage, and you can see some effects of water damage over time. I also think it was a little ridiculous charging $20 to remove rubbish. It meant we threw everything into a truck stop bin on the way home, and nothing was recycled. Not a big deal, just seemed a little silly.
- Zangmo (5/5): Passable -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mer (9/5): Superb -
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (9/5): Very peaceful location close to Tanunda - Really private and super quiet location I bit bright in the morning. Could do with a few more blinds.
- A (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jt1981 (10/5): A beautful getaway - What a great little getaway. We stayed in the Chloe cabin and had plenty of room. The bed was super comfy and so lovely to wake up looking over the vineyards. The bathroom and shower were amazing! Lots of bugs so had to be quick with the door!!
- Clinton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karlene (10/5): Really had a relaxing 2 days never saw a person unless we went out - So peaceful, fabulous bed, everything we needed to relax and unwind. I totally understand the off grid concept, but what are we meant to do with our rubbish make it the problem and expense of the next property we stay at, put it in a council bin???
No information on what to see and do.
Didn’t know where the cellar door was to buy some wine of where we stayed.
- Galina (8/5): Very good - I liked everything. The views were beautiful, the location amazing , customer service, flexibility with checking in a bit earlier, the cabins very well made, and the open views everywhere are magnificent. I am very happy with how beautiful and comfortable things were. I loved the quality of tea, the shower gel, soaps, and shampoos and conditioners as it was organised and health oriented.
The things to improve:
The air-conditioner and heter were not working at its best. The windows were a little dirty so when the sun was coming up and down, I couldn't see it properly out of it as it was reflecting the dirty spots.
The cupboard under the sink was not clean.
Thats probably all. I am very happy with my stay overall and would definitely come back again and reccomend to others.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful getaway in the heart of the valley.
- Alanah (10/5): Loved every minute of our stay - We loved everything about our stay, we actually got upgraded to the Chloe cabin and it was a wonderful birthday surprise. We loved every minute of our stay and often opted to come back to the cabin and share a cheese platter between us at the site. This location and stay was the highlight of our trip. The cabin was very clean, easy to locate and use! We loves everything
- Lauren (8/5): Very good -
- Emmy (9/5): Beautiful and calm in the middle of wine country - The CABN is really beautifully located among the vines. Kangaroos were jumping at dusk and dawn. Sun rises late and behind the cabin, so we could sleep with the blinds opened and wake to nature.
The breakfast hamper was plenty and the bed comfortable It was hot indoors when we went to bed due to it beeing a sunny day, but we woke at night from cold. There is a really good heater, but it was a little hard evenings out the temeprature
- Shikara (10/5): Everyone should stay in a place like this at least once in their life. The emerged sensation of being out here is revita - Everything. I would like to live here. Nothing. I loved everything.
- Melinda (9/5): Superb -
- Jodie (4/5): The location was stunning, but as we have stayed in a few cabins before, this one needs some updating. - Beautiful location. Chloe is in need of some maintenance. The air conditioner didn’t work. Only two windows had fly screens so we couldn’t open them all to cool the place down. Lots of ants inside and it looks like they need to restrain all the wood as it is very tired with water leakage spots.
- Amanda (9/5): Very special escape - Beautiful setting and comfortable. Fabulous to get off the grid Main door blind needs repair and some dusting required
- Adele (8/5): Very good -
- Anilkumar (10/5): Fantastic -
- Bottrell (5/5): Not for us. Place appeared to be unloved. A deck would be a great improvement. - We liked the location and the view Bed was difficult to get into.a ladder of some fort is required.
Bathroom tile cracked and grout dirty. Dirty broom and mop shoved in corner of can off putting.
- Jade (9/5): Relaxing, secluded, perfect 👌🏼 - Loved the location and the exclusivity of the CABN.
Was well equipped and had everything needed for a few nights. The customer service was WONDERFUL as I’d left some clothing there and they sent it back to me. Thank You so much :-)
- Lynette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Silby (9/5): Superb - The location was amazing ! The cabin, although small was very well thought out and well kept. I was very impressed with how well equipped the cabin was. Items that I thought necessary to bring such as fire wood, fire starters and coffee press were already provided ! The breakfast hamper was also a great add on. Very satisfied with our stay as a whole. A few small changes could have made it even better - bread for breakfast wasn’t all that fresh. Cleaner was also onsite early despite paying for the late checkout.
- Braden (8/5): Very good - Great little place to unwind and disconnect Had to fight an army of ants upon check in, and keep getting rid of waves of them throughout the stay
- Kathryn (9/5): We loved our stay in the cabin and wish we could have stayed longer. - The cabin was so gorgeous and well equipped. We especially loved the views of the paddock and vineyard littered with bird life and sheep. 🤗 Nothing
- Lenka (7/5): Good - Location, service and instructions (ie, how to get there etc) were excellent. The cabin itself, although sufficient and comfortable enough, was not in excellent condition and not quite equal to the price - the condition was more consistent with what you would expect in a low star motel, and definitely not worth the $350 per night.
- Jake (8/5): Extremely relaxing, absolutely perfect for a getaway. Perfect location - Location was perfect, a lot more spacious than it appears and overall a very relaxing experience
- Keely (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (8/5): Amazing concept in a great location - The location was amazing! The concept of the cabin was fantastic. Curator wine Co did an amazing job accommodating us as well. The bathroom floor floods when showering. Floors get quite dirty quickly, a small handheld vacuum would be very handy.
- Michael (10/5): Unique relaxing experience in the heart of the Barossa - Fantastic spot to stay which was a great combination of being right in the heart of all the great Barossa vineyards and getting away from it all. Also a unique experience staying in a small home.
- Sophia (9/5): Superb - Remote. Perfect views and location Had to take out won rubbish away and no wifi
- Keegan (8/5): Very good - Everything Dead mouse in toilet
- Chown (7/5): Good -
- Ruby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (6/5): Great location! But uncomfortable, tired and somewhat dirty - Location The cabn is tired and feels old and grubby
Really bad bad pillows
Bbq was really dirty
Bbq utensils were even worse
Dirty windows which is really sad
Definitely not luxury off grid
- Pattaraporn (10/5): Exceptional - Very private. Surrounded by nature and beautiful views. The bed is nice and comfy.
- Melissa (7/5): Beautiful winery setting, lacking some details to make it a deluxe stay - Beautiful outlook, quiet, privacy. Facilities for light cooking. Unable to contact admin regarding arrival procedures- we were told to expect an email 7-10 days prior to check in. I tried calling, emailing, texting, no response until 2 days before our check in AFTER I called booking.com to assist us. Given I had booked and paid in full 8 months prior I wanted to confirm my booking was valid, especially as we were driving from NSW to SA the next day.
The cabin heats up due to its westerly aspect- would be very hot in summer despite the AC. Perhaps an attached deck with eve would help. Conversely it also gets very cold overnight, warmer bedding would be nice plus have your stove ready to light at 6am. Watch out for ants- any food left out for an hour will have them swarming. Broken outdoor chairs need replacing.
- Jessica (10/5): Best nights sleep in a long time! - The CABN was clean & cosy, private and SOOOO QUIET!! Best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. Absolutely will stay here again. The shower could really use a shower screen or curtain to contain water but sufficient towels were provided to mop up the overflow.
- Corey (6/5): Pleasant - Cool little cabin, being a little remote cabin was a cool experience Extremely difficult to find !! No signs , the address on booking.com not even close to where the cabin was located. We had to go to 3 different nearby wineries to as for directions. Luckily the last winery had heard of it and was able to call to confirm it location. Also the hosts were not contactable through ph on the day of our arrival!! Saturday.
- John's (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent. The smoke alarm went off at 4am and the following morning at 6am. Not sure why, unless a bug got in?
- Aleksandra (10/5): Best sunset with a glass of wine - Wonderful atmosphere. It's a small place but well thought and planned. Nothing
- Natasha (8/5): We stayed there for one day. The location was perfect , not much help from staff but aircon in Chloe Cabn does not work - The location was excellent. The The location, so peaceful and gorgeous vineyard
- Gypsylove555 (10/5): Exceptional - It was private and well maintained. Jess and Jason gave amazing service and were quick to meet our needs. Easy check in and out. Amazing nature. Could use an awning or similar over front of cabin Chloe.
- Henshall (8/5): Overall very enjoyable. Cabin showing signs of age/use, needs a thorough clean, - Location, bedding fireplace views Windows all dirty. Outdoor table area on a slope with loose rocks . Some water damage in bathroom,
- Ellen (9/5): Lovely getaway! - Beautiful setting, very cosy
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Gaia (8/5): It was so good to switch off and just relax with no distractions - The location was stunning. I’m we also loved the fire pit and the fire place and the bed set up with the huge window! The bathroom was poorly designed but I guess that’s just lack of space? More storage space for luggage would be good too
- Benjamin (8/5): Very good -
- Prakash (10/5): Luxurious off-grid cabin in a beautiful setting. - Fantastic location, luxurious settings and superb amenities. Checking in was easy and parking was great. Cabin is off grid but it is within reach of tourist and food hotspots. Cabn has done a great job inputting this together.
