Guest Reviews
- Kiyomi (8/5): We arrived early and felt a bit lost, but a friendly staff member helped us! - The location was great, and the cabin was very nice. Since it was our first experience with that type of accommodation management system, we felt uneasy about there being no one at the front desk and about communication in the mountains.
- Zohal (8/5): -
- Monares (10/5): We really like it. We will definitely come back and stay for more days - Complete amenities. One with nature
- Clive (10/5): -
- Andre (8/5): Short but sweet. - Great location. Clean, everything worked as expected. I’m not use to sleeping in a double bed.
- kalju (10/5): - Excellent place from real retreat in forest!
Amazing! Simple and calmful!
- Carla (7/5): Beautiful location would recommend for the nature enthusiasts - I liked the location and kitchen had all l needed No toilet or shower in cabin, l forgot to check when booking.
- Dennis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shreyas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Abhijeet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Warrick (7/5): Wonderful location - Extra hidden charge for linen, though I believe it was waived when I raised it.
- Augustine (3/5): Poor - Location Not worth for the money spent
- Murali (10/5): - A peaceful , serene and picturesque retreat
- Chantal (4/5): Disappointing - we didn't stay because there were no bedlinnen and we didn't have them of our own.
the staff was very friendly and gave us a refund straight away, many thanks for this !
- Phyllis (8/5): - It’s a very nice place. This is a forest peaceful place and suitable for relax. However, the wifi is not very stable and disconnected after 11pm. Would come back next time
- Jan (10/5): The place was great and everything went well. - Everything everything was okay but the blankets and pillows were quite dirty and uncomfortable.
- Margaret (7/5): A pair of lyre birds were foraging just outside our cabin - We brought our own breakfast From the web I assumed we had toilet and shower in the cabin.
Ok in summer to go to the shower block, not so good in the cold.
- Daniel (10/5): Great experience :) - Great standard. Friendly staff -
- Luke (10/5): Nice quiet stay - Nice quiet area, helpful manager on call.
- Janette (8/5): - Bush setting
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abrar (8/5): Very good -
- May (7/5): Cute cabin nice location - Very cosy cabin in a beautiful setting. Loses a few points because it doesn’t come with linens. Option to rent but they somehow didn’t see my message. Luckily I double checked last minute or we’d be sleeping on bare mattresses. Apparently they also charge $20 if dishes aren’t put away. Don’t know how strict they are with that though.
- Hamid (9/5): Superb -
- Celia (9/5): Superb -
- Hooman (3/5): Poor - nothing
- Ruth (8/5): Beautiful setting - Tarra River runs around the edge of the park.
Cabins and campers were accommodated well in a small area.
There were tree ferns visible outside the window and there were garden areas on the terraces. Sheets and towels were an extra with $30 charge. I expect them to be included and not something we have to ask for.
- Saeedeh (10/5): Exceptional - It was really clean with a very nice staff. Good facilities even on camp sites like power outlets and beautiful river. We enjoyed our time there. Nothing
- Ajith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanvi (9/5): Love love love!! - It is just such a beautiful location! The facilities were clean and well maintained, excellent WiFi speed. Absolutely loved the vibe! Stayed there for a couple of nights and had one of the best regional Victoria trips ever. My favourite was the resident dog named Maddie who’d come around to say Hi every time she saw us. What a sweet personality!❤️
- Dennis (10/5): Exceptional - Location No manager contqct
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fayaz (1/5): Bad -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful tranquility beautiful surroundings next to fern covered Creek. Beautiful Australian Birds everywhere. Nothing.
- Joseph (9/5): Fun place to stay by the National Park - Fun place to stay. We enjoyed the cabin with 2 bedrooms and a nice kitchen. The water was hot and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Hiring sheets and towels was pretty easy.
- Mahyar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suslov (7/5): Good place for short-term camping. - Nice clean facilities. Beware of the falling tree brunches: one pierced through our tent. Luckily, no one was in at the time.
- Lily (8/5): Very good -
- June (10/5): - The location is great, just close to beautiful Tarra Bulga NP and on the side of Tarra River, peaceful and green. It is a lovely and well maintained caravan park. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The bungalore we booked is spacious, clean, comfy. We had a fire on in the lounge which is fantastic and super warm in cold winter. Definitely rebook it if we have chance to return to Tarra Bulga NP.
- Anonymous (8/5): great two days to switch off from the world - location in Tarra Bulga rainforest, riverfrontage no tv or phone reception, wifi did not work at all
- Maiden (4/5): Would make a nice weekend getaway from town to paint or birdwatch. NOT a holiday spot.... - very unexpected setting- as though we had been transported to Gondwanna forest in Tassie! Beautiful- but.... Staff acknowledged that booking.com is problematic- but although clearly what our booking had defaulted to was patently unsuitable for a disabled person- no refund or leeway offered- we simply had to pay for a different room- too late in the day to try and find another place.
ZERO Connectivity- great if you want to disconnect and are prepared but useless if you need to consult digital map or confirm next leg of the journey while there.
NO FACILITIES- closest shop/fuel is a 20 minute drive along narrow winding VERY DARK isolated road-property in the midst of rebranding- and a good thing- could not imagine negotiating that road with a caravan.- not wide enough or safe for two cars passing.
Stove very slow- no kettle water pipes thump continually and pressure pump make showering interesting (like trying to catch waterin a disco) room cold and air con ancient and ineffectual. NO LINEN provided unless you pay extra.
- Gary (9/5): Great hospitality - Cleanliness and well maintained facility... awesome wilderness location.
