- Sharlene (5/5): - Staff responded to request to accomodate guest when sofa bed broken. No care. Place is unloved. Charging premium rates for a run down facility. Disappointing. Wouldnt generate repeat business because of this. Short sighted. Could not feel the love at all. Sold us a 3 bdrm unit which turned out to be 2 rooms and sofa couch that was broken. Restaurant food terrible as all came out of a packet but again charged premium prices. Just wont do it again.
- Wendy (9/5): Great location - The view
- Susanne (8/5): Sehr authentische Unterkunft in toller Umgebung!
- Ofer (6/5): Location was amazing near platypus views and bat forest, cabin outdated and average cleaning. - Location near platypus view and bats forest Kitchen was outdated and lacking and shower was a bit not clean.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Amazing location No shops locals like a store
- Marian (7/5): Comfortable - Quiet Expensive
- William (10/5): - Beautiful location, clean facilities, very close to all the nearby attractions.
Great access to the chalet for really nice and affordable meals.
- Pauline (8/5): - The cabin was very clean and check-in and out was really easy. The decor is quite dated but very well equipped if you want to self-cater.
Bedside lamps would be good in the bedroom and more information in the property guide would be good e.g. which cabin bin to use for rubbish, which one for recycling, where to get laundry powder for machine etc.
Eungella National Park & various walks are super close and absolutely stunning. Viewing platypus in the wild is only a 5 min drive away from the cabins. Would go back.
- Anita (8/5): - Loved the cabin. It was clean and warm. Would love a couple of reading lamps. Was slightly worried that it was up to travellers to put crockery away for the next guests- who knows if the last ones cleaned it properly? Otherwise good.
- Peter (8/5): -
- Maria Ines (8/5): - The cabins have everything we need
- Joanna (7/5): Great place for the national park - Great cabin could do with a lamp a me to sort check in with the chalet after issue with booking.com. Great place to be able to explore the national park trails and see the platypus None
- Andrew (8/5): My wife and I wanted a private, quiet time away and we got it. Thanks Eungella Cabins. - Log fire in cabin.
Right next to beautiful old pub and view. Bats in the bush next door screeching and fighting through the day into the afternoon.
- Berry (10/5): Good sized cabin, with fire place. Short drive to broken river. - Accommodation was clean, beds comfortable. Close to the chalet for great meals.
- Melinda (9/5): Lovely quiet mountain retreat - Super quiet mountain retreat, where you get lost in the clouds. The cabin offers the conviviality of a fire place (with 1 free bucket of firewood per stay), kitchen is very well equipped. The chalet is warm and cosy. The platypus sighting river is only a 7min drive away.
- Aurilea (8/5): As above - The views and facilities in the cabin made a perfect getaway for friends. Watching the flames of the fire while enjoying a cuppa was so relaxing.
- Jarrd (9/5): Superb -
- Marian (9/5): Superb -
- Adams (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cassandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - The cabins were beautiful and the staff were amazing, we had a slight medical scare with our son having a small asthma attack and we realised we had forgotten his inhaler, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, finding him a ventolin and making sure he was ok
10/10 we will definitely be back in the near future
- Maryna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rene (8/5): Lovely cabins - The view was amazing. But it depends which cabin you get. Having a woodstove was a big pro, since it was a bit chilly the day we arrived. The shower was amazing. Vee was very friendly in her communication. The cabins just need a little TLC. But really nothing dramatic.
- Katie (4/5): Sadly dissapointing. - Host viv was wonderful and left us a bottle of wine and some chocolates as I had requested. Very much appreciated and enjoyed. Sadly the bed has horrible. Not only is it so un common to have double bed in a 'getaway' cabin but it was a very cheap meal frame bed that made the most horrendous noise every time you moved and slipped on the tiles floor, not to mention trying to have some romantic time with my partner. The couch was also way too narrow to really lay and get comfy to watch a movie together. Our meal at the challet was horrendous. Partner had a crumbed steak that was burnt to hell, whilst I had a very dry beef parmigiana, chips were horrible as tho they had been sitting out somewhere. No entertainment for a Saturday night, no one was having dinner, it was really dissapointing. Didn't even try to see what brekky would be like there but went to Eden cafe which was amazing. Was not worth the $300 I paid. Sorry guys.
- Randall (8/5): Very good - Nice and clean room's great views 👌 Some random using the washing machine and dryer when we got there
- Kathleen (9/5): Eungella is a beautiful place, I have never been before and would visit again. A comfy stay. - Lovely views and environment, good location, Comfy bed, plenty of room, verandah in the morning sun for brekky, equipped kitchen, close to walks and Chalet for meals, quiet, gardens, Eungella 'Land of Clouds' coffee table book to read, well manicured grounds and lovely gardens. Needs at least x1 bedside lamp, urgently needs tap washers on the shower taps (can't turn off properly, waste of noisy dripping wateron the plastic shoer base), no water jug for the fridge (had to use a saucepan with a lid in the fridge) bedroom fan dial missing, change bed covers to match the rainforest in either earthy tones or rainforest pattern/colours (pink roses are old fashioned and don't match the cabin or environment, they let the advertising photos down also). Very dirty kitchen plug hole.
Would have been a nice little touch if there was a packet of Tim Tam's or small treat in the cabin as a welcome gift as not many shops around.
- Emma (9/5): Superb - Great location, mobile coverage, wood burner, outdoor deck, etc. Only fault is that our unit did not have a washer/dryer, but some of the units did.
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (8/5): - Not a great start. We arrived, had not received a text re cabin access and nobody answered the phone. When checking with Eungella Chalet we discovered that whoever input the dates into their systems had made a mistake. We had no accommodation for first night - dates a day ahead. Fortunately the lady at the chalet managed to find a one night stay at Broken River 5km away and the wonderful host there, Wen, welcomed us plus said she would work out payment with the cabins. Once we were in our cabin, the next day, we were impressed with the amenities but found that the cabin itself had some mould around shower, door frame was rotted and glass sliding door couldn't be locked from outside. There was also an intermittent drain smell wafting around outside. There was no view when sitting on the patio, would need to move chairs out onto lawn between cabins.
Bed was comfy and kitchen had everything necessary to self cater. Lounge chair was also very supportive.
- Fay (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (8/5): Relaxing - Some bread even if frozen would have been nice After receiving text to say all was ready to get there and have to fill in 1 hour while the room was prepared
- Casey (8/5): Very good -
- Angie (10/5): - We had a great time, the cabin was perfect and had everything we needed, will definitely stay again!!!!!
- Christian (7/5): Good -
- Kathy (10/5): a great time away - beautiful view and close to the National Park the taps all leaked constantly
- Marissa (7/5): Despite the rain and constant cloud cover, it was a pleasant, comfortable stay for the whole family for 2 nights. - The location would have had magnificent views if the cloud would allow. It was conveniently located above the Chalet with great proximity to the restaurant. The contactless reception was very convenient also. The kitchen was well equipped. The internet/wifi was fast. The lounge smelt dirty and was broken when trying to fold out into a bed, but was large enough to sleep on top of. The sheets for the lounge were not where they were described to be located, however when contacted reception did say they would send some over for us.
There was some mess in the cupboard with the toasty press and cobwebs on the walls behind the tv. The bedrooms, sheets and towels were clean and the kitchen was well equipped.
- Carmen (6/5): - For the price it could do with updating, and cleaning better.
Great location!
- Elly (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf!
- Richard (8/5): - Good accommodation in great location.
Contactless check-in was easy.
Unfortunately the pull out sofa bed did not have any linen.
- Emma (8/5): Quick niight awaiy/
away - Lovely location. Easy booking and contactless entry.
Comfy bed, warm cabin. Private & quiet.Beautiful views and right on the doorstep of the Chalet. Beautiful trail walks right next door. Said Bbq facilities in add, but there wasn't any on site.
Parts of room were missed during cleaning. No spare toilet rolls in cupboard.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (5/5): Great for an overnight or two stay, clean, - Location tranquility Shower, extremely slippery difficult for older person to get in and out of. Indoor chairs in need of upgrade, comfortable
- Clarke (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Na
- William (10/5): - Eungella Cabins has the most spectacular view of The Valley, words cannot describe how beautiful it was. It is incredibly serene, and you feel like you’re in a little slice of paradise. It was only 5 minutes walk away from some of the walking tracks, and a 10 minute drive away from the Broken River walking tracks and platypus watching areas. It’s right next to the Eungella Chalet hotel and restaurant, so it makes getting a good feed incredibly easy. The contactless check in and check out makes it a quick and easy process. There was also a beautiful ginger cat roaming around that was incredibly friendly too!
- Joodlz (8/5): Very good - Although the unit was old and in need of TLC, the location was great. Great views and close to the Chalet. I thought the nightly rate was expensive for such an old property. Paying this rate the expectation would be at least a breakfast hamper.
- Baiju (6/5): Pleasant -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (8/5): - The cabin although clean and a comfortable sofa was not good. The sliding door on the bedroom was off its runner so wouldn’t slide shut properly and the bathroom was old and full of ants. An enormous colony of huge bats live in the trees at the side so the noise was constant.
- Anita (8/5): Very good -
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (8/5): Value clean well equipped - Good communication the day of arrival. The cabin was very clean Single Bed could do with a mattress topper
- Glenn (8/5): - Great little cabin some with great views .well appointed for longer stay bring you own food ,or overnight .has a path to the chalet out the back for meals and drinks . Nice walking track ( cedar wood track) starts 40m down road. Town does not have shops so bring what you want with you.
- Jean (7/5): Amazing walks, cloud forest and platypus abound - Firewood supply! Excellent hot water Unfortunately the general store nearby has closed so the nearest place for groceries was Finch Hatton
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barry (8/5): Very good -
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Therese (10/5): - This is a great place to stay if you want to explore Eungella. Easy check in, clean, everything we needed.
- Leigh (10/5): The person who runs the bungalows (Vee) is completely chill and happy to help if needed. We totally recomme - A relaxing context, such a beautiful setting. You only need to walk down some steps to the Chalet that has a bar/Devonshire Teas We liked everything about it
- Greg (4/5): Not worth the money we paid for it. Friendly staff. - Clean Outdated, broken door handles on slider and screen torn. Bathroom fan wobbly. Main bedroom bed uncomfortable, sagged on one side. No dining table inside.
- Kevin and Barbara (8/5): - Loved the view from the dining are.
- Casey (8/5): Very good -
- Carmel (10/5): Eungella Cabins - Every thing...just such a lovely get away.. Went to Finch Hatton Gorge.. walking swimming.
- Mark (1/5): Poor Communication from the Owner/Manager but harassed my wife on my wife’s personal Facebook page. To this day I ha - The View The lack of assistance/support from the owner/manager.
- Melissa (7/5): comfortable - location, garlic dated furniture
- Isaiah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ella (9/5): Superb -

- Bradley (9/5): Superb -
- Hayley (9/5): beautiful - location a little dated
- Kristin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (4/5): Plumbing problems, dripping toilet and leaking taps spoilt our stay. - We have stayed 3 times before and usually enjoy the 2 bedroom cabin. Good space and facilities ... but not this time. The plumbing problems have " been like that for ages" someone told us. All grey water from the unit bubbled up out of the sump and had to be stepped over each time one entered or arrived. This problem was exacerbated by the washing machines at the rear of the twin cabins. We thought that washing machines had been added for guests and the folk next door used it most days..they only stayed 1 or 2 nights. We stayed 4. The cleaning staff also seemed to use them to wash and dry the towels etc from the units after guests left...and all the water added to the muddy puddle at the back door. I had 2 80+ yr olds with me and worried that they would slip as they stretched across to the sump cover.
- Terri (5/5): Passable - The fire place, games etc were great for our weekend where it rained the whole time! The bed covers were very musty, to the point where I put the main bed cover outside to be able to use the bed - made my sons allergies play up hugely.
- Gerald (7/5): Good -
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kylie (5/5): Passable - Location was beautiful, fire place was wonderful utensils and cooking utensils good, comfortable bed. average cabin style room could do with a deep clean an some repairs overall we enjoyed our stay though. Could do with a deep clean like window seals, draws ect no bbq facilities challett only opened at 10am no hand wash, fridge didnt cool very well
- Toni (8/5): nice stay. - comfortable
fire wood daily sooner and some parts of the looked dirty
- Anna (5/5): Location is great, but cabin was roughly maintained. - Pioneer Valley is gorgeous The cabin was in rather rough shape for the cost of accommodation. The key lock was impossible to open. reception never answered calls for assistance, had to get help from the pub.
- Donald (8/5): Very good -
