• Ana Ibis (9/5): Very cozy, clean and welcoming place - Very cozy and clean. The house is spotless clean and very well organised. Food provided. Decoration is nice and make you feel welcoming. The only thing was the wooden floor. It makes a lot of noise when you walk and makes you feel uncomfortable.

I enjoyed meeting the people we met. The instructions for entering the property straight forward. I did not realise at time of booking that the bathroom facilities were shared . I felt that the overnight price was a bit expensive with no refund if the unexpected occurred.

• Lifang (10/5): Easy check in and out. Comfy room. Great value. - We stayed there for one night for a family member's party out of Northam. The host gave very clear instructions on contactless check in which was an easy process. The en suite room we got in the big house is large and well fitted. The large kitchen is shared with other people staying in the house (we made a cup of tea). Parking is available in the back of the house. It is a bit like the B&B set up in the old days but without hosts living in there. Great value for money for what we needed. none.

• Bradley (10/5): Very enjoyable from all aspects. - Really enjoyed all aspects of this property. Fellow guests were also very friendly. It seems this property attracts health professionals which makes a very hospitable atmosphere. Also security was excellent. Cannot identify anything that we did not like.
• Markey (9/5): Nice pleasant stay in a heritage old house, reasonably close walk to town centre and river. - Central location in town with easy access to the cafe, restaurant and pub strip. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking and making coffee, Nice bathroom with hot shower. Nice outdoor areas with plenty of chairs and tables so people can spread out over the property. Only one bathroom and one outside toilet, so tricky if the place is very busy.

• Jennifer (10/5): A great place when booking for a group! - After being evacuated due to a fire we needed to find accommodation for 4 staff in a hurry. Thankfully we were able to book Avon Homestay. Greg was very accommodating and made it very easy with good communication. We had them settled in quickly.

• Robert (4/5): The owner needs to fix the lock on the front gate as gaining acess was dangerous - the place was clean and the bedroom was OK The communication was extremely poor and the lock on the front gate did not work - and from the comments from the neighbours it has not worked for some considerable amount of time, so we had to jump a high picket fence to gain access to the property.
