Guest Reviews
- Tahlia (10/5): - Beautiful place and so close to the beach.
- margaret (8/5): Clean, comfortable and quiet near the beach - Smart property. Nicely furnished. Very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with heating. Great little balcony with table and chairs. Short walk to the beach. Quiet location. Unable to access garage due to recent damage to roller door. Had to phone the company for access information as it had not been emailed to us. Would have been a big problem if we had arrived later. A few cobwebs on the ceiling. You would definitely need a car as the location was between Middleton Beach and Emu Point with no close shops or restaurants.
- Mike (7/5): - Peaceful Bit grubby & worn out, needs maintenance.
- Joy Vince (8/5): -
- Dean (8/5): Lovely location - very peaceful - just a little tired - Peaceful Just a little tired
- Charlotte (10/5): A perfect home away from home - Room spacious, tidy, nice spa bath, bed comfortable
- Mark (8/5): -
- Steve (10/5): -
- Gary (9/5): Would stay here again - Location near running tracks All good
- Reucelio (10/5): -
- Linley (8/5): Perfect - It was such a beautiful retreat. So quiet and so comfortable A few maintenance issues that we have communicated to the property managers.
- Marcus (10/5): Beautiful room, perfectly equipped 😁 - Well appointed large room with lovely balcony. Excellently equipped. Lovely chocolate left by host. Easy access and great communication. Not in walking distance to anywhere to eat or drink.
- Kerry (8/5): Comfortable studio - Comfortable bed, good shower, good size room chair was uncomfortable, no table to sit at, we felt like we had to keep the blinds closed for privacy which limited light
- Georgina (10/5): -
- Christine (8/5): - Close proximity to beach . Dune Brewery's close by.
- Marianne (7/5): - Loved the spa and location The apartment really needs a kitchen sink, or somewhere to wash your plates, cups etc. Had to wash them in the bathroom basin.
- Charmayne (8/5): No Ocean view, and no access to upstairs balconies - We chose the upstairs room noted as having a partial ocean view, I couldn’t find that view, nor could I access the upstairs balconies. The room was spacious and well appointed, importantly the bed was comfortable.
- Luci (5/5): Big place smelly..TLC by owners - Leather couch . Gas stove. Courtyard ( needs TLC)
Privacy. Most windows had insect screens. This place needs TLC it has not been look after.
Lovely set up near beach walks. We did not appreciate to be left a tiny amount of oil, dishwashing liquid or laundry liquid. We had to clean the outdoor table to use. Open all windows to ventilate the place the odour of humidity & dirt was unpleasant. But is winter !! Pantry empty kitchen utensiles short.. Value for money N/A. !!!
- Wendy (10/5): Ok but! - Comfortable enough but not worth the price as it is just a bedroom & ensuite. It is a 10 minute drive to anything. View of other houses.
- Lauren (7/5): - Bed was super comfy Bathr could do with a deep clean
- Tiffany (10/5): - Cosy and warm room, the huge spa bath was so relaxing and the place was quiet. Great stay for a weekend away. Only a few mins walk to the beach. Highly recommend!
- Erin (7/5): Good - Locations was nice The washing machine and dishwasher was dirty. However the staff were very prompt and did a nice deep clean on the washing machine the next day.
Outside the bedroom is a sensor light that gets triggered by wind so at night that was pretty annoying as it is quite bright!
And heaps of dead bugs in the cupboards
- Rod (10/5): - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great cooking facilities, big screen TV, close to beach and walking path. Just lovely.,
- Dianne (8/5): - Check in was easy and room comfortable with good amenities but blinds were very dusty.
- Eimer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (9/5): Great stay in great accommodation, everything you need. - Great location, great place to stay, smooth and informative getting access, plenty of contact from the owners. Lovely big bed and bedding, well equipped accommodation, big spa bath, coffee machine, iron and board. Couldn’t stay longer!
- Mal (8/5): Very good -
- Imtiaz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elyse (4/5): Disappointing - The location was great I was really disappointed with my stay. We had ongoing issues - the hot water didn’t work at all on the first day so we all had cold showers. The sink would not drain at all which made the bathroom impossible to use. Dirty water remained in our sink for the entire stay. We couldn’t watch Netflix or any other streaming service because the property had no internet. It also wasn’t very clean - cigarettes still in ashtray outside etc.
- Tracie (10/5): It was very relaxing and quiet. - great location, complimentary wine and chocolates on arrival. Spa bath was fabulous. N/A
- colin (8/5): - The property is getting tired needs maintenance inside and outside especially rear deck.
- Wayne (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (10/5): - The property was very clean & tidy inside in a very quiet location. The courtyard outside needed some TLC to tidy up the garden. It was a short walk to Middleton Beach & also to the Golf Club. However, you needed to drive to local shops.
We had a 5 night stay in the property & thoroughly enjoyed our time in Albany.
- Jaspreet (5/5): Passable -
- Holly (6/5): - For the price, this property was very disappointing. The apartment itself feels very poorly outfitted; the shower head and bath tap both leak, there are holes and paint spots on the walls, missing plates, and NO WIFI. The photos in the listing are misleading - our room did not have access to the full kitchen as that only comes with the suite. There were also huge spiders and webs behind the bedside table. Overall, pretty average and definitely not worth the price.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgina (7/5): Good - No staff at location that I could see, but the people I spoke to over the phone to get instruction on collecting the key, seemed lovely. Room was nice, spacious, clean but missing a proper waste paper basket or bin so I had to buy some trash bags for my stay and stored it in the cupboard.
Spa bath was amazing and I loved the big bathroom, mirrors and sink area for getting ready. Shower head was a bit wonky and shelf in shower was very wobbly. Not a big deal but worth noting.
Light in bedroom had a dimmer switch but didn't work. Also, not a big deal because there were a lot of lighting options in the room anyway -between the big light and the various lamps. One small tv and desk, big wardrobe with mini fridge and safe. Complementary wine and chocolates on arrival was a nice touch.
The desk was handy for catching up on work but sadly there was no wifi and internet reception was terrible. That was probably the biggest let down of the trip, as the mobile phone reception in that location was really poor. I am with Optus and it was impossible to hotspot my lap top from my mobile because the signal strength was so low. It made it difficult to make phone calls, video calls dropped out and froze constantly and I had to drive out of the golf estate to google directions to places.
Perfect if you like the idea of an 'unplugged' holiday. Close enough to town to have a short drive in to cafes, restaurants and tourist stuff. Nice and close to the beach but I didn't get to explore if there was a beach access at the end of the road because of the poor weather while I was there. Glad I tried out this place and it was nice enough, especially being able to have a spa bath every night. Not sure I would book it again though because of the lack of Wifi.
- Kathleen (8/5): - The apartment complex was in a residential area but very close to the beach. It was quiet and well maintained. Only problem was on our last day we didn’t have any hot water for showers. I rang the property manager to inform them and was told that it would take about an hour for someone to get there. We were leaving, so we didn’t want to wait until then.
- Jamie (10/5): - Under cover lock up parking, excellent price,
Very clean and tidy the bathroom was huge and the views from the balcony and proximity to the beach, walking track and golf course were great
- David (8/5): Overall, great house - Ensuite for every room Not a lot of kitchen ware to cook meals or have dinner for 6 people.
- Nicole (8/5): Brilliant, relaxing and just what we needed as a quick get away! - We loved the fact that we were able to book in so quickly. We loved the spa! We loved the bed. The room was lovely and it was wonderfully quiet! It was so easy to access our key. Parking was a breeze. There was a beer bottle top that wasn't ours. We didn't know if we were able to access the wine and biscuits, there was not a note letting us know if we could or couldn't... so we left them alone.
- Peter (7/5): Good - Staff responded quickly to our requests No Wi-Fi
- Peter (10/5): - Lovely spot but too far from town. ! lounge chair for 2 people didn't compute
- Naomi (10/5): - Excellent quality, great facilities, incredible bathroom, excellent views, balcony to enjoy the area. I would highly recommend you take the opportunity to stay - you will not be disappointed.
- Samuel (10/5): - The room we had was 10x better than the advertised pictures. Awesome facilities, nice bed, nice location and overall it was very comfortable for short or long term stay.
The only negative was the place could have been much cleaner, there was much dust and spiders and the ground seemed as if not cleaned.
But apart from that it is an excellent place and we are very grateful and we would go back!
- Dorothy (8/5): - There was a lot of dust up the walls near bed head. The basin in bathroom was blocked
