- Angela (6/5): I booked this on behalf of international friends visiting. All communication with booking, payments etc were done with - It was close to friends and close to transport and places of interest. The outdoor furnishings are filthy, torn, neglected and require updating.

Rooms need a deep clean from time to time - lots of dust build up, mould in bathroom.

Close to shops and restaurants Maintenance of pool area has declined a lot just since last year. Pool area beds are torn and mouldy which is a shame as it is such a beautiful space.

The cleanliness of the room and the only way to contact anyone is via WhatsApp or email, no staff on site. Our room was on the main road side of the building - very noisy!

- Ngo (6/5): Sketchy - There was a Woolies supermarket close by so that you could purchase anything that you needed. There was Junkies running into the carparking area and all over the location, it did not seem like a safe area. The facilities like the Sauna and also the pool area are super dirty, on the lounge chairs, they are covered in mold. The Sauna area smelt so dank and that did not want to go inside. Parking is an extra $20 a day and they don't tell you that until you arrive!

- Kylie (7/5): Dissapointing - The location is fantastic, the shops at your doorstep are excellent and parking is plentiful. There was no hot water for the entire 10 nights we were there, only warm water. The room wasn't cleaned properly when we arrived ie; bin in the bathroom wasn't emptied which had feminine hygiene products in it, the shower had soap on the walls and floor, there was dust EVERYWHERE including the stove top etc.
A magnetic bracket from the top of the sliding door fell off the first time I opened the balcony door nearly hitting me, there were no spare blankets, just thin bed covers and sheets.
The app and the lifts were an absolute nightmare. Every time we tried to access the lifts, it would not let us press our floor number even though the device in the lifts flashed green inductance indicating that the app wasn't working. We were locked out several times, one time being my carer who had to sleep in the foyer as no one would answer the help button and her phone had been stolen about an hour earlier so she couldn't phone for help. She had to pee in the carport as she couldn't access the lifts. I was in hospital unable to help and the amount of times we both had problems with the lifts was rediculous. After major surgery, this is the last thing you need. We were only told about the key fob at 3p.m on our last night there. This is extremely poor communication, especially with the amount of time we complained about the app/ lifts not working.
The beds are not comfortable and the oven/ microwave is hard to operate so a print out of instructions would've definately been handy. The chairs and lounges on the rooftop bar are filthy and mouldy, especially the ones on the balcony below the pool.
All of this combined made it a pretty stressful stay, being in agony after major surgery made it worse. We had to put as many towels down on the bed to try to make it softer and more comfortable.

- Ed (6/5): - Clean. good value. good location with shops and restaurants This hotel has no front desk staff. you have to download an app on your phone to act as a key. After I landed I received a code to activate the app. When I got to the building the app did not work. I was on hold for 17 minutes before I was able to speak to a Rambla staff member. They gave me another code to punch on the keypad and this got me into the building but then I could not get the elevator to work and of course once in the elevator I lost the signal and my call was disconnected. Someone else let me off on the right floor and there I was able to reconnect. With another code I had to open a keybox to obtain a real key to open the door to my room. What a hassle! Also couldn't get the TV to work while texting back and forth with Rambla staff. The price of the room was good, probably because they can save on personnel costs, but not great for Customer service.
- Saunders (3/5): - The pool was amazing The washing machine smelt like mould and made my clothes stink, it was impossible to get into the place with the digital key we tried everything had to ring for help and took like 30 mins to get into room by then I was overwhelmed and reasy to cry.

Staff did sort things out after we brought issues up, except parking took a few communications to get sorted,but they did sort it promptly once they understood the issue. The room definitely was not thoroughly cleaned, barefoot and our bottom of our feet were showing that. When we were packing up to leave, I had noticed old dirty stains on the blanket.But what i am really disappointed at up on the roof, we were looking so fwd to go swimming and chilling back on day beds. Well, the days beds had big tears in them, black mold on them. I dont understand why velvet covered mattresses were used for around a pool. Black mould can be quite hazardous due to the spores. I have C.O.P.D lung disease. So we could not enjoy the roof top, which was the big draw card for us. We simply just couldn't believe it is like that up there. It was disappointing this was like this.
- Morgan (3/5): Keep looking - Location was good for us. Multiple problems throughout the stay. Starting with the number to get into the units would not work. Then the unit was filthy. So bad that I had a shower, walked to the table inside and then to sit on the bed before I got dressed and my feet were unbelievably filfthy. Honestly unacceptable.
Then we were unable to leave the parking as our QR code was not big enough for the machine to register. It took us around an hour to leave the premises. The room smelt of mould and damp. I came home sick. Wish I had booked somewhere else. A HUGE waste of money while taking a toll of my mental and physical health.

- Kayci (6/5): Rooftop is lovely, cleanliness needs to be improved and the parking situation is ridiculous - Outdoor areas and proximity to services such as food and Woolworths Dirty, the parking situation was ridiculous. We paid ahead and submitted are vehicle registration as advised, but every time we came and went after the first time through we had to call for assistance at every boom gate (2 per trip out and 2 per trip in). Sometimes waiting 5+ minutes for the parking provider to pick up the call.

We nearly ditched the show we traveled to Brisbane for, just to hang out on the roof a little longer.
The bed was ridiculously comfortable, and the apartment was clean, fresh and spacious enough for a couple to enjoy. The only thing that could be improved is the outdoor mattresses on the rooftop. They were comfy but torn and a little moldy. Expected though when they cop the weather.

The rambla team were very easy to contact and quick to respond online Wasn’t clean on arrival with previous guests items left in the room, but the team were quick to respond and re clean. It was nice that the room was cleaned weekly, however on returning back to the flat whilst one of the cleans was happening and a member of staff was rummaging through food I had on the shel, I decided it was safer to keep the do not disturb sign on my door as I didn’t want anything to go missing

- Chloe (10/5): Best work trip ever! - The best hotel I have stayed in for work! Me and my collegue were so impressed. So easy to access parking and woolies and food! Fire alarms went off and we were stuck outside for an hour. Little annoying.

- Alex (9/5): Really comfy, beautiful complex, everything you need in the apartment - Awesome complex, great location, awesome nearby coffee, well thought out apartment. Most areas clean however I did some yoga one morning and saw up close that the floors clearly haven’t been properly mopped and there was tonnes of dust under the bed - don’t think it had ever been vacuumed. Didn’t realise I had to pay extra for the gym, that should be included.

- Deanne (6/5): Good but some issues would not have us returning g to this one unfortunately. Maybe someone else might have better luck - The online staff were fairly responsive in hours. The location near a Woolworths and food and retail shops is very convenient. The rooftop area is a nice space. The parking was a nightmare to arrange and operate throughout our stay. We had to purchase 2 parking passes in the end and still haven’t heard back about a refund yet. Unfortunately the parking is operated externally from the property and WR codes did not work. We got stuck in one night and had to call up for assistance to get out. It was always very stressful every time we had to get in or out.
Unfortunately the washing machine didn’t work, which they did let us know that day and offered a laundering service but we couldn’t use it during the hours they offered and the wi-fi went down for a day whilst there as well.
Unfortunately would not go back to this one. Too many issues.
Disappointing as we had stayed here before and it was great. 😌

They handled our situation with the washing machine and room change very well. The location is great, the room was comfortable. The washing machine issue was inconvenient at first, and the technician delay caused a bit of discomfort, but the team offered solutions and support.

- Angie (7/5): It was good, - I loved the room it had everything I needed. It was clean and modern. The pool area was spectacular! Great views overlooking the city. The location was great with Woolworths, bottle-o, Chemist and eateries right underneath. Was perfect and very convenient. Not being local to Brisbane, it was a bit difficult to find. There was no visible street signage that I could see. There was also no car park signage until you got down near the car parking area. Signs from the street all the way to the carpark would be a real advantage.
Also, some information in the room about restaurants in the vicinity would have been super helpful and information about the building. Or a map of the building - I only found the pool as I was checking out and i only found it because of the icon next to the elevator buttons.
I did love the app key idea, until my phone died and I couldn't even use the elevator, that was a bit distressing but that was my fault and can't fault the facility on this.

The pool at the rooftop very beautiful view and nice to avoid the heat. It was a bit confusing that there is no reception. I had to call to the company to get my code in my mobile.
