- Lachlan (10/5): Great value for a charming stay - The room was large with a nice bed and good amenities. Staff were friendly and check in and out were quick. Overall a very comfortable stay and good value for money.
- john (8/5): -
- Adrian (9/5): Good for one overnight stay - Great location in centre of town Bathroom very modern and clean but didn’t realise it was a shared system. We were lucky no other guest to share with (1 bathroom between 2 rooms) but the bathroom is a small distance down the corridor.
- BradC89 (10/5): - The shared bathroom system worked well as there are multiple available for the 5 or so rooms that are available. They are kept spotless and staff should be commended for this! Bedrooms are of high standard and better than some more expensive rooms elsewhere. Nothing. the only issue for others may be the stairs but that's to be expected for such an old building.
- IRINA (9/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Chris (9/5): - Gary went out of his way and gave us a lift to Vintners for our lunch.
Whilst the bathrooms are shared, they are newly refurbished and clean.
Good value for money pub accommodation Nothing.
- Linda (10/5): Would book again n again - Rooms and bathroom was beautiful and clean central to everything we needed
Karen was behind the bar, she was amazing Nothing
- Patricia (10/5): Good value stay in a charming pub hotel. - Clean and comfortable room, nicely renovated and good value for money. Great location in Angaston with a pub and restaurant downstairs. The bathrooms are shared and not inside the rooms, which may not be convenient for everyone.

- Kerry (10/5): - Beautifully renovated old pub. Share bathroom with one other room only.
Great location, great craft shop a couple of doors down and fabric shop.
Nice verandah you can sit on. Nothing
- Petr (10/5): One night stay - Rooms and bathrooms are modern and clean. Bathrooms are shared with other rooms (4 bathrooms for 5rooms)
- Claire (10/5): - Absolutely brilliant - brand new, sparklingly clean and very comfortable. Couldn't recommend more highly - great value in perfect location. Nothing
- Dieter (10/5): Nice country atmosphere - No breakfast included All good
- Mark (9/5): Modern accommodation in old pub - Excellently refurbished bedrooms and bathrooms, belying the age of the building. Downstairs bar almost inaudible. 'Semi-shared' bathrooms unusual but works fine
- Matthew (9/5): -
- Debbie (8/5): A good value, comfortable room in a good location. The shared bathrooms felt very private and were pristine - Good location right in town. Good value. Comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom even though it wasn’t private. Friendly staff. Quiet and clean No bedside tables. No bedside lights
- Caleb (10/5): - Friendly, good community feel, pub great, lovely room, beautiful hotel Smell from bathroom drains
- Nicolas (9/5): -
- Carol (10/5): - Room so newand clean. Quiet, great bed, shops restaurants nearby Nothing
- Glen (7/5): -
- Hannah (8/5): - Beautiful rooms and new bathrooms. There were a few bathrooms so you weren’t sharing the one with every guest.
- Bianca (9/5): - The rooms were recently renovated. They were beautiful The toilets aren’t attached to the rooms, but they are only a short walk down the hall (no different to some houses)
- Alison (9/5): - Lively comfortable room and lively staff. Not having a sink in the rooms
- Peter (10/5): Absouloutely loved it - The renovation was excellent the location very quiet Nice to have a sink but I realise not possible
- Neil (10/5): - Stunning rooms and great food. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend.
- Rebecca (8/5): -
- Kelly (8/5): - Beautiful big rooms above the pub. Bathrooms are separate but all new with fantastic shower pressure. Staff were lovely and meals were delicious. Easy drive to surrounding wineries. Lives our 1 night stay
- Lyndon (10/5): - over night, did not eat in.
Fantastic room and amenities
- Jacqueline (10/5): A very comfy stay - The rooms Have been newly renovated - gorgeous high celings, very comfy beds.
Newly renovated shared bathrooms.

Highly recommend.
- TK (9/5): - Newly renovated n nice place to stay
- tracey (7/5): - Clean, new. Light into room. Made room very bright to sleep in, needs curtains to make room dark. Bar patrons hung around until 2.30am at front, very noisy
- Dave (10/5): - Great service. The room was exceptional.
- Hannah (9/5): -
- Waugh (8/5): - New and clean

- Brett (8/5): Very clean and tidy, nice staff and close location where we needed to be. - Very clean and tidy Unfortunately the ammenities are shared.
- Helen (10/5): - Lovely old building which has been renovated. The rooms do not have ensuites but understanding the era that is why. The bathrooms available have been renovated well , big, clean & great hot water. Food in the hotel was very nice.
- Matthew (10/5): - The room and the bed were very comfortable. I didn't realise the bathrooms were shared. Everything (including the bathrooms) was recently renovated and in great condition. The food at the pub was very good, too.
- Nathan (10/5): - Fantastic location and facilities. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
- Waugh (10/5): Easy fun place to stay, will be back. - New and clean, good heater in the winter. Good food onsite, and nearby.
Just accept a few steps outside to the bathroom, 4 rooms and 4 separate bathrooms
- Scott (8/5): - Current construction makes it a little noisy at times. The rooms were spacious enough but only provided a kettle in term of amenities.
Shared bathrooms (with shared hand towels) is a little odd but the bathrooms were recently renovated and clean and tidy. A hairdryer would be a nice added touch.
Overall it was an enjoyable stay and I would likely return.
- Karen (10/5): - Beautiful old pub, tastefully modernised and renovated throughout. Super friendly staff that go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We will definitely be back.
- Courtney (10/5): - Lovely renovated room and bathroom. Staff were great.

- Daniel (6/5): - There was no hot water which was a major negative
- Pinati (10/5): Exceptional -
- Russell (9/5): We will return. - Recently renovated rooms and bathrooms, great value dining special. Just the noise when people open and closed their room door.
- Vincent (8/5): Very good -
- Heath (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brett (10/5): Upstairs Gem - Accommodation totally renovated. Crisp and new! Bathroom shared but spotless and new. Bed comfy too. Bar downstairs average.

- Jodie (10/5): - Great rooms with comfy beds. Bathrooms are shared but there are 4 separate little ensuites with only 5 guest rooms, so plenty of options. Staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly
- Ananda (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (6/5): -
The accommodation has been recently renovated. The rooms are basic and do not have an en-suite, Having to go down the passage to a bathroom/toilet is a problem during the night. The hotel has four bathrooms for five rooms. The bathroom/toilets are modern and clean.
The hotel has a dining room with a good diner selection.
- Justin (8/5): Very good -
- Renae (9/5): Superb -
- Shaun (9/5): Barossa Brauhaus - Location & cleanliness, style. N/A.
- Chuanlun (8/5): Very good -
- Dianne (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly Staff & comfortable clean room
- Marg (9/5): very comfortable -
- Natalia (6/5): - Stay was good..The property is renovated and looks pleasant. However, when we arrived in the room, bed sheets were not changed... We found hair over the mattress and pillow...The staff was helpful and straight away allocated us to another room. Toilets and shower are separate and to share with all rooms, we could not see that information when did booking, not sure if we missed it.....no hairdryer...noisy corridor..
- Glenys (6/5): - Although the room and bathroom were modern and super clean, being older it was a shock to know that the bathrooms were shared!
Could I suggest that a hair dryer be available on request.
- Esther (10/5): - Fast, easy checkin with friendly staff, the newly refurbished rooms were very clean and comfortable! Even though the bathrooms are shared, they were absolutely spotless, spacious and had shampoo etc. Awesome second floor shared balcony just for guests, with two tables up there, great view over Murray St Angaston. We also had dinner in the pub downstairs, which was absolutely delicious! Also being a pub on a Friday night, there was no noise in the bedrooms upstairs whatsoever - highly recommended!
- Melissa (10/5): - Pleasantly surprised with our stay. Lovely clean rooms for our party, private balcony for accommodation only, staff very friendly and helpful. Shared bathrooms were immaculate and modern, and we had 4 of them for 5 rooms upstairs. Water pressure was amazing also. Would stay again without hesitation. Bed very comfy.
- Maree (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (9/5): Wonderful stay. Highly recommend. - Beautifully renovated rooms above a landmark hotel. Spotlessly clean. A shared bathroom which I appeared to have to myself was next door to the room. Easy on-site parking. Was noisy for a short period when other guests returned late in the evening and departed early the next morning and took part in conversations with each other between rooms. It is an old building with original floorboards so noise does carry.
- Rose (7/5): Good -
- Darren (10/5): - Stayed once before it was v good so went back. Still a lovely place to stay
- Jennifer (10/5): A fab stay, with great access to nearby wineries - The staff were extremely friendly, showed us to our room and provided recommendations for dinner. The room was clean, with high ceilings, a charming fireplace and really pleasant to stay in. The location is fabulous for access to the local wineries and the pub is really fun as well! Nothing!
- Ikonomou (10/5): Exceptional - Staff friendly & welcoming.
Our rooms were clean, neat & comfortable.
- Billrider (8/5): Very good -
- Christel (8/5): Very good - Location, value for money and cleanliness Share bathrooms

- Dianne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda Müller (10/5): 10 stjerner - Super fint sted
- Marty (9/5): Superb - Great refurbished rooms and shared bathroom facilities. Very comfortable. Only thing Bedroom needed were bedside lamps.
- Gwendolyn (8/5): Very good -
- Oudone (8/5): - Nice and clean, comfortable bed but noisy through the night - door slamming and squeaky bathroom doors down the corridor.
- Rick (10/5): Exceptional -
- SARAH (8/5): - Very quick and easy check in. Lovely clean large room upstairs. Comfy king Ben. Aircon, fan, fridge and tv. Toilet and shower separate on same floor. Access 24/7. Bar and restaurant downstairs in pub. Stayed for concert at Seppeltsfield Winery, which was 12 km away. Very few taxis in Barossa. Be prepared to wait!
- Janine (8/5): - Very clean and friendly
- Kerry (7/5): Great would stay again - Staff- Dean was very helpful.
The rooms had air con which was needed on a very warm day in the Barossa.
Smart TV and great ambience in the room. Very noisy in the morning.
Baltic pine floor boards are not very forgiving when mixed with high heels and suitcase wheels at 6 am on a Sunday morning. Communal bathrooms didn't help but they were very clean. Awesome rain shower heads.
- Kylie (8/5): We loved the town of Angaston and the Brauhaus was a great choice for us! - Loved the location, the character of the pub, comfy clean renovated bedroom and shared bathrooms. A treat was access to the front deck for our byo breakfasts! one for the suggestion box....we were only the guests the night we stayed (so quiet for us) but hall runners (freshly sanded and polished floors are lovely!) might dampen some noise going to/from the shared bathrooms at night.
- Ilona (7/5): Nice and central - There was no breakfast as far as I knew.
Rooms were modernised and nice...
Shared bathrooms were new and clean.
The beds are very firm which is great for others.
Staff were nice and friendly. It was noisy in the halls all noises carried and at 140-200am the noise on the streets from pub goers was rowdy.
I didn't get much sleep.
Tissues in rooms would be a nice touch.
- Amy (10/5): - Fabulous staff and beautiful clean, private accommodation…. Would highly recommend & will definitely be staying again 😃
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb - Warm welcome. Really clean, well fitted rooms with great bed, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Shared bathrooms immaculate with powerful showers. Good location near cafes for breakfast. On site parking, good pub.
