Anne N (8/5): Lovely accommodation - The apartment was clean, well stocked and very cute. The location was perfect, so close to everything. Breakfast was delicious and supplied by Jandar; bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, toast, butter, juice, yoghurt, milk, muesli, tea and pod coffee. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was good quality. All areas of the apartment had their own reverse-cycle air-conditioning. Parking was easy and close to the apartment. Listening to the birds in the beautiful gardens was relaxingandenjoyable. Jandar is on a main road, I could hear some road noise but it wasn't intrusive or overbearing. The downstairs bedrooms were not ideal and it wasn't obvious in the advertisement. The bathroom is in the main bedroom and is only accessible by walking through the main bedroom. And to get into the main bedroom you walk through the second bedroom. This made both rooms have no privacy. It would be good to be aware of this prior to booking.

Nicole (8/5): Great base for Maleny - The breakfast hamper was amazing. Good location and check-in was was easy all done via message. The beds were quite hard. We were in a 4 bed unit, but the 3rd and 4th bedroom were only separated by a barn door and you had to go through the 4th bedroom to grt to the bathroom so it's only really semi private rooms. Also no separate aircon in the 4th room, but luckily it wasn't too hot.

Cleanliness was the best ever seen. Perfect! The space and layout of the villa was awesome. The gardens are beautiful, the villa very private. The extras provided are exceptional. Worth every penny and can't recommend enough. That I had to leave, wish this holiday could last forever!

The separation between living and bedroom was clever having vertical wooden slats that allowed excellent light and warmth from A/C if needed. The Jacuzzi was just what I dreamt off and reason for my booking. Throughly relaxing. Nothing like on a crisp night soaking in the bubbling jets. The breakfast basket is amazing yogurt preserves fruit platter then the works for a cooked breakfast. The electric frying pan was perfect for me cooking in the evening Instructions to actually find it. I think across from car park find paved path then on your right is X and to the Left is your accommodation

The beds were very hard, but very stylish and well appointed. Limited cooking options and tiny kitchen. The spa on the deck is a great idea, but you cannot change The temperature to make it any warmer.

Mark (9/5): Perfect. Couldn’t fault our beautiful stay at JanDar. - Stayed 3 nights in the Figtree Villa. Contactless check in suited us. The villa was modern and perfectly appointed. The complimentary platters were a beautiful and welcoming surprise as we weren’t sure if they were included after viewing the website. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional with enough included for two full breakfasts. The ambience with the log fireplace, the private heated large hot tub spar on the deck and the most gorgeous enormous Figtree only a few meters from the deck and lit up at night made for the perfect setting to relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. We were seeking a private , secluded and relaxing break and JanDar delivered completely. Have already recommended to family and friends. Thank you JanDar. A little road noise on the Monday we were there but didn’t detract from the overall experience.
Orchid (10/5): The most relaxing and wonderful staycation - Everything 😊 set in a quiet location surrounded by nature and trees, makes it a peaceful & idyllic stay for solo travellers or a couple. Beautiful decor, warm, cosy and comfortable place. Loved the fireplace and spa pool! (Jacuzzi) The freshly store bought bread with handmade jams and the small basket of breakfast food provided was a lovely extra touch to our stay. If the bathroom door wasn’t closed at night, the light from the window would be peeking into the bedroom making hard to sleep, if you didn’t have a sleeping mask with you.

Patrick (10/5): Bespoke, thoughtful, comfort in a lot belt setting - This property was beautifully presented. It has been thoughtfully designed for functionality and guest comfort. The shared areas are lush and lovely. Spotlessly clean and with many amenities for the guest to use, this property is located between Maleny and Montville and so it’s very easy and convenient to visit the tourist attractions in the surrounding areas. We loved it and it was just the tranquil break we needed from our busy lives in Sydney. I would return in a blink.

Kathryn (9/5): Superb - Our heater wasn't working, we rang to let them know, 45 minutes later they were there to fix it, we didn't expect them to do that so quickly. It was comfortable and clean. Only 2 English breakfast tea bags in the tea caddy, more choices of other ones herbal etc..good coffee pods and machine tho. A booklet or something with information on where to eat, take away etc would have been useful too.
Amanda (9/5): wonderful location and communication. - private, gorgeous location and very convenient for the wedding we attended at Tiffany’s. Jen offered a late check out and was very flexible and accomodating :) the shower head was positioned a little awkwardly, but we could make do.
M (9/5): Pet friendly escape - Location, comfort, cleanliness. Some road noise during the day, but not noticeable if you are coming and going.

Annabel (9/5): Quirky and Different - A beautiful place to stay, quirky cottage with views over the rainforest and African touches. A great size with two large bedrooms. Once the sun was setting, the wildlife came alive and so lovely to hear it all sitting on the balcony with a wine.
Jessica (10/5): Amazing stay - Great location, lots do in & around Maleny. Great distance from Australia Zoo & very affordable for what you get. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook & a smaller BBQ on the balcony. Great cooling & heating systems. Child friendly but would also be great for a friend group. We can't wait to come back. Bedding was a bit rough but we might be picky 🤣

Sarah (8/5): great stay, will stay again! thank you :). - Nice big clean accomodation with every thing provided. good location and pretty view. nice and peaceful. enjoyed our stay here. no insect screens on windows and our baby was bitten by mosquitoes on the one occasion the bathroom window was open for 30 mins. didn’t want to open windows and doors for this reason.

Marjorie (8/5): Very relaxing, great place to share a holiday with your dog. Good grass area to exercise her. - The promise of complimentary breakfast wasn't practical. Too far away. NO staff between 10 and 12, just wanted some tourist brochures to get started, but office empty of everything. A bit challenging to find that for three of the nights I was the only person in the whole complex! No security apparently.
