- Sooz (6/5): Great location for an old girl - Location to Broadbeach Upstairs had little wardrobe space, tiny bathroom and awful vertical blinds that were odd-sized and didn't cut out the light. Could hear everything from down below.
- Purdy (8/5): Cheap and cheerful. Location is prime!! - Great location! Roomy and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze and they allowed a later check out. It could use a good deep clean and it was apparent it’s old. However, it’s cheap, cheerful and prime location.

- Carly (10/5): - Liked the location perfect close to shops and the beach. Had a great spaced apartment. Though the supplies could of been a bit better. Shame the pool wasn't heated and unfortunately another apartment was being build across from our stay so was noisy but we know that wasn't a permanent thing.Other wise the stay was lovely. And if you dont like stairs to climb probably not the best spot but we didn't mind them.

Not that we didn't like it, but it would of been nice to have a bit better view out the back.

- Jodie (5/5): Okay but at this stage probably wouldn't stay again - Property is a bit shabby, front door was hard to open/close/lock. In the bathroom there were broken towel hooks and the outside light didn't work. Oh and the kitchen draws were broken. While none of this impacted my stay the main issue was the construction noise from new apartments being built right outside the bedroom window.

- Rach (10/5): - A little hidden gem 💎 just a street away from the beach and only a five-minute walk to Broadbeach shopping. There’s also an amazing café right on the corner outside the complex — easily some of the best coffee around! The host, Qing, was outstanding. I actually extended my stay twice because I slept so well — the first time in a very long time. Highly recommend Apartment 4. Thank you for hosting me — 10/10!

That was Hotel number 3 out of 6 for us on our holiday. Lovely place to stay but became intimidating after we left

- Sally (4/5): Our hort stay was a disappointment - The accommodation was 5 mins from the convention centre which was why we were there. It's a short walk to the beach. Lulas Fish & Chips were a highlight. It's a longer walk, approx 15 mins to the main restaurant strip for dinner, but doable. All main appliances are relatively new which is great. Being able to cook for ourselves if we wanted to was a bonus. Off street, 'semi secure' parking is good. Qing was very responsive. We were in Apt #2 and stayed for 5 nights. . We heard everyone running, walking or dragging a suitcase in the apartment above us at all hours. Sound proofing non existent. There is a lack of storage space to unpack No shelves in the main wardrobe. Lack of coat hangers (more were provided on request). Maintenance is poor. The toilet roll holder wasn't fixed in place. The Google TV, whilst new, needs to have instructions to operate. The 'rules' and expectations of guests, made us wonder what the owner was going to do. The front door sticks when closing & is a potential hazard if you needed to exit because of fire. There is no lift, so if you have limited mobility or zero mobility, access to the 1st floor apartments is unachievable. There's a building site next door at present which sounds a horn at 6am everyday..NOT NICE!

Close to beach,shops,restaurants and light tram The stairs were certainly a put off. It should be advised when someone is booking in that the stairs would be impossible for someone with a minor disability.

- Jessica (4/5): Disappointing - The location was great and the apartment was clean and equipped with enough to get by for the week we were there, although low quality. Blinds either fell off the track when it was opened up or they didn't open at all. The screen door didn't close properly and there was a chunk of wood missing from the door frame. Shower water pressure was terribly lacking. Street appeal is poor, the building really needs an update and freshen up to look more inviting.

- Luke (10/5): Really Accommodating - Really loved the ease of access, had to do a late checkin night 1 and the owners make it an incredibly easy process which is incredibly helpful. The owners are really nice and super accommodating, we had to change rooms during our stay, and they made it really easy for us as well. Theyre also a lot more accommodating for early/late checkin and checkout, compared to larger businesses. Rooms are a great size, and the kitchen was perfect, and they provide a lot more cooking amenities than some other hotels, so that made dinner at home a lot easier! I really recommend El Dorado Apartments to people who like smaller, quieter hotels instead of a jam packed skyscraper. Will definitely be staying again sometime soon!

- Paul (8/5): Great appartment, wonderful stay, wonderful host - The secure key box didn't work but Qing came straight away to let us in. There was also another small problem which she dealt with immediately. The appartment is an easy walk to the beach, the G-Link and to the shops/restaurants in Broadbeach. We loved the terrace which made the upstairs bedroom so much brighter. The appartment is near a building site but where isn't on the gold coast these days? This didn't bother us at all. Some of the kitchen appliances were a little bit dated and there was an itemised list of what any breakages would cost which I found a little strange.

- Nerelle (7/5): A comfortable stay - The place was clean and had modern newish furniture. The bed was professionally made and I felt comfortable sleeping in it. The bathroom and kitchen cupboards were old and there was big chips in the shower step over.. I didn’t have any contact with staff face to face but the details of checking in were sent to me promptly and were easy to understand. I liked the locked gate for security.

- Kim (8/5): Very good - It was a lovely apartment. Plenty of room, and it was very clean. The balconies off the main bedroom and dining room were a nice surprise and a little bit of private space. The appliances in the kitchen were in good working condition. The staff were just lovely and very helpful. When the neighbours alarm went off in the evening, they acted promptly to sort it out. Some of the finishes were not great. Some of the renovations had not been entirely completed e.g., there was no frame at the top of the ensuite door. The security could be upgraded. The locks on the balcony doors served the purpose but were flimsy.

- Damien (7/5): Adequate as a place to sleep. - Self-catering apartments so there were no interruptions. The location was excellent for our purposes; kitchen was good; parking secure. Local shops provide excellent range of good quality food options, and groceries at need. The property is quite dated and tired. Water damage to bottom of front door and balcony door, very small main bathroom, lounge not comfortable, hole in the wall and old tv mount still there, steep and weathered external stairs.
