• Darin (10/5): - Nice room for one or two people. A/c was great! Nice view of market and street area. The person on staff was super helpful. Continental breakfast was adequate start to the day. Allows leaving bags before checking in and after checking out. You will have to walk in from a block or two away due to busy market in the streets during the day

• Clasina (8/5): - This is really more of a B&B than a hotel. The entrance was not marked well but once you know where it is, it is an easy entrance. Thwre are 3 steep flights up the stairs (no elevator) The location is very close to all the major sights and you can walk everywhere. There are excellent restaurants in walking distance. The service provided by staff was excellent and the room was very spacious, and came with a filled small frosge that was free to use. The only downside to this location is the noise - the daily market with very touristy vendors is open until 7 pm daily and the cleanup takes place until late at night, then there are people out and about late at night, and then at 6 am the vendors for the market start setting up again. But the convience to everything was well worth it.
• Andrea (10/5): - We loved this place. Quite a few stairs to go up… but the place itself was really nice, big room, very clean. The staff was very welcoming too and attentive to all our needs!
• Deb (8/5): Central Florence Gen - Very easy and convenient location. Host was very accommodating and let us check in early. Breakfast was more than expected with a variety of pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee, fruit and cereal. I may have misread only 4 stairs to the hotel, but it was 4 stories of stairs. A difficulty for my husband. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and bath supplies plentiful. Very nice and they let us leave our luggage after checkout to retrieve later. I recommend Hotel Il Mercato Centrale… part of the marketplace and next to Pinocchio Restaurant… a favorite of ours.

They really thought of everything — not just shampoo and shower gel, but also toothbrushes, toothpaste, little chocolates, and a few free drinks in the minibar. When I checked in, the AC was already on — such a small thing, but it makes a big difference and was so appreciated. Staff also helped me find ideal parking for my large car, and earplugs were provided since the street can get a bit noisy at night. Breakfast had a nice variety: pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, and juices. And the location is perfect — everything is within a 15-minute walk. It’s not just a room, it’s an experience. Highly recommend!
• Claudia (10/5): - It took us a bit to find the unit but once we did we really like the location! Unit was clean and centrally located. Il Mercato centrale was right across the street! It got a bit loud in the mornings when the leather carts were setting in for the day but besides that we absolutely enjoyed our stay!

• Stacy (6/5): - This was not a real hotel, but a room in a former apartment. It’s also far from the ponte vecchio, their profile pic. Despite the dirty hallway with trash in it and the unpleasant central market location, the place itself was clean and cute.

The young girl in charge even helped us carry our suitcases up the. stairs and was incredibly helpful with any questions or requests. The room was very well equipped, even having a mini bar with free drinks. Breakfast was basic but good. The only down side for us was the noise from the markets and market square. This was not softened by shutters but on the bright side, they did provide ear plugs. Very clean and central for a stay in Florence.

• Jerry (10/5): - Great hosts. Fantastic location but on top of the market so not super quiet. 4 flights of stairs so be prepared. Not convenient for cars. Must park in parking garage a few blocks away for 40euro per night. The central Mercado is awesome. Just outside the door.

• Debbie (10/5): - The apartment is in a great location, it’s clean and comfortable and has lots of cosy extras the hosts have taken the time to put together including amazingly clear instructions on the apartment and restaurants and where to visit etc. They are a lovely couple who assisted us with where to park our car and chat to us on arrival. Parking is in a valet parking car park right near the apartment and all the sights are a stones throw from the door. The market is in the square as well.

• Yasue (6/5): ネット関係に自信があれば？ - Hotels.comからの情報と違い、check-inは１７時以降はself-check-inと知らされ、不安だったので１６時頃に着いたのですが、そのB&Bは開いてなく、スタッフもいなく、入り口のドアに書かれた電話番号に電話をしたらオーナーにつながり、あれこれやりとりした後、オーナーが来てくれたのでやっとcheck-inができた次第で、承知していた情報との違いに疑問を持ちました。 check-in後は問題なく、部屋も明るく、スリッパも備えられており、ミニバーの飲み物もフリーで、シャワーが上に固定されているシャワーだけだったので不便だった以外は快適でした。

• Yi (10/5): 推薦 - 離車站不遠，到景點方便，就在中央市場旁，出門就是皮件市場。非常大方的B&B民宿，房內備品,Mini Bar等齊全。網路上原設訂至少需住兩晚，但我們只是順道遊覽佛羅倫斯而住了一晚，老闆依然接受並很負責的與我們保持連繫，以便讓晚到的我們順利入住。除了水管阻塞，我們必需自行清理完才能洗澡外，沒什麼大礙
• John (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay here. We notified our hosts that we would arrive a couple hours earlier than the check in time and they had our room available when we arrived. We stayed in the Blue room and it was very clean and modern and the location is great - just 10 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella train station and 5 minutes from the cathedral. The 2 girls who were working there were very friendly. The only downside I can say is you need to walk up 4 floors to reach the property so just be prepared for that. I would definitely stay here again.

• SIU PING (10/5): - 一流的位置，一流的體驗，一流的服務。第一天早上非常早就到達，正值他們的早餐時段，由於沒有電梯的關係，員工讓我們馬上飲水和吃早餐。房間的mini bar全部免費，令我喜出望外，果汁、酒、汽水一應俱全，朱古力很好吃。最后一天早上吃早餐時我把前一天在超市買的蜜瓜準備切來吃，房東非常貼心協助我切開，而且擺盤非常有水準。總括來說服務比五星酒店更好，唯一美中不足沒有電梯，但完全不影響是次體驗

• Gregory (10/5): - Great apartment right next to the central market. You would think it would be loud but, all the vendors go away every evening and it gets very quiet. The bed was comfortable the bathroom was well put together and there was a free breakfast every morning. We walked all over Florence and enjoyed coming back to our nice comfortable room.
• RALPH (10/5): - This place was a bit unexpected, and this made finding the right door a bit challenging. Once inside, all was great. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the window was entertaining. The true WOW was the breakfast. Sadly, we missed one day because of a tour. The host brought fresh-baked pasteries, cheeses, meats, fruit, and juice. He also brewed us coffee to order and explained the different foods and the people who had made them in their local shops. Delightful and yummy! We would stay here again without hesitation.
• Dana (10/5): - We arrived at well after their posted check-in hours (almost midnight) and hadn't expected to see anyone until the next morning. But to our surprise the host was there waiting for us to show us around. He was unbelievably friendly and helpful. They also had everything we could need - including free drinks in the mini bar because it was so hot while we were there. The location is also perfect. It was cool to be able to watch people setting up for the market right outside our window. We can't say enough nice things about this place.
• Jessica (10/5): - The contacts at the property we so kind and so helpful. There is continental breakfast included and they serve you themselves. I was trying to rescheduled my car rental pick up for a later time and the host graciously called them and handled it in Italian for us. Cute and clean rooms close to Duomo. I wish we would have checked out the Central Market sooner! Full of takeaway food etc. The only thing to know is it is four full flights of steps to the rooms. Would stay there again.

I cannot say enough good things about Mario. He gave us (and others) great tips on local restaurants, monuments, museums and nearby towns to visit. Should we go back to Florence (which I'm sure we will) I will definitely stay here again!
