• SHEILA (7/5): Close to Centro Storico - I wanted a hotel close to a metro station due to catching a train from Napoli Centrale for onward travel. The room is compact with a private bathroom and air-conditioning, which I imagine would be very necessary in summer. I was staying in May, so okay. There was plenty of hot water during my stay. The room had a small fridge and TV. Although I never met him personally, Antonio, the host I corresponded with, answered all my questions promptly and provided a voucher for a nearby bar for breakfast. The hotel is a few steps from the Corso Umberto I and a 5 min walk to Duomo metro, so great from that perspective. This was my first visit to Naples, so I thought it would be ideal for sightseeing to stay near the historic centre. In retrospect, another time, I will probably find an alternative place in a quieter neighbourhood. NOTE: The lock on the main street door requires some jiggling to get the key in the lock fully. I was lucky to meet a resident leaving the building who helped me with this as I tried to enter one day.
• KRYSTALLO (8/5): - Η θεση του κεντρικη ( αλλα λιγο απομονωμενη το βραδυ.) Τα μαξιλαρια δεν ηταν οτι καλυτερο ωστε να πονα ο αυχενας και να υπαρξει δυσκολια στον υπνο. Ειναι μικρο το κοστος για βελτιωση αυτου του τοσο σημαντικου απαραιτητου αντικειμενου στο καταλυμμα. Συσταση να προσεχθει για το καλο ολων μας. Ο υπνος πληρωνεται και πρεπει να ειναι ανενοχλητος. Δυστυχως πολλα καταλυμματα δεν φροντιζουν τα μαξιλαρια.

Bagno con alcuni difetti: Porta scorrevole della doccia e nottolino per cambiare afflusso acqua mal funzionanti. Levetta per scarico acqua del bidet bloccata. Ha bisogno di una bella rinfrescata. E' sicuramente la camera peggiore di questo relais. Le altre due che ho avuto modo di vedere sono sicuramente ottime.

• Stefanie (9/5): Guter Ausgangspunkt für einen Wochenendtrip - Die Lage direkt an der Altstadt ist hervorragend. Von außen wundert man sich etwas über die Optik, aber innen ist es schön hergerichtet. Das Bad ist wirklich sehr schön und die Größe reicht für einen Wochenendtrip völlig aus. Wir konnten unser Gepäck früher bringen und länger stehen lassen, obwohl niemand vor Ort ist. Check in und Out wird alles selbst durchgeführt. Kommunikation erfolgte über booking und WhatsApp. Das Zimmer wird nicht zwischendurch aufgeräumt, was uns nicht bewusst war, was aber natürlich letztlich nicht schlimm ist. Zu Beginn mussten wir letztlich anrufen, um den Türcode zu erfahren, obwohl wir unsere Ankunft mehrfach mitgeteilt hatten - letztlich hat dann aber alles geklappt.

• Marco (6/5): Appena sufficiente - Letto molto comodo, infissi nuovi e non troppo rumore, nel frigo bar ho trovato dell'acqua che in altre strutture non mettono, personale molto disponibile e pronto per risolvere le problematiche. La camera non era pulita, capelli lunghi femminili ovunque, tappetino della doccia pieno di capelli, polvere, nel bagno l'ultima sera ho trovato pure delle formiche. Tv non connessa all'antenna e impossibilità a guardare anche solo un TG, doccia minuscola e con box sgangherato. Non vedevo piatti doccia così piccoli da quando ero bambino, sarà stato un 50x50 facevo fatica ad entrare e all'interno non ci stavo proprio. Asciugamani puliti ma macchiati di ruggine e bucati.

• Amos (3/5): Very, very disappointing - Very, very disappointing. We stayed at Relais Ranieri for 3 nights in March 2025. We were very disappointed because the difference between our expectations, based on the description on booking.com, and the reality, was absolutely enormous. 1) The check-in experience was unpleasant. Twice we filled out a very detailed on-line check-in form, once on a link sent through booking and once again on a link sent by WhatsApp. Somehow we still had to check-in with a person, Ezia, who was very impatient, even though we arrived within the time frame we said we would arrive, she kept telling us to hurry because she has check-ins to handle at four other b & b's. 2) We booked a room including breakfast. In reality they don't serve breakfast. We did not know this in advance because they do not tell you. There is  an "arrangement" with a cafe 180 meters away. The cafe has no indoor seating. The choice was to sit outside on the sidewalk in the cold or eat standing up. Furthermore you are entitled for free to ONLY one cup of coffee, one juice or glass of water and one croissant per person. That is not breakfast! 3) The description on booking says there is a convenience store on site. THERE ISN'T. 4) The so-called "nearby parking" is a 600 meters walk away. 5) There is no one at the hotel to talk to unless someone happens to be checking in. Communication is by WhatsApp. 6). There were no blankets on the bed and one thin blanket in the closet. When I asked (by WhatsApp) if it's possible to get more blankets the answer was "No. Use the a/c". 7) They deliberately create a false impression. There are signs all over that say "Relais Ranieri. Ranieri Luxury Group. Boutique Hotels". It is not a hotel, since it has none of the services of a hotel. (It is also not a B&B since there is no breakfast). It is not luxurious or boutique.

The bathroom is small, but there are so many things to do outside of the room that a small bathroom wasn't that much of an issue. The best thing about this hotel and why I give it 5 stars, is the management. Just so helpful, responsive and easy to make arrangements with. We were able to leave our luggage, he helped with my disagreeable cab driver... I felt very safe in this hotel. It's not 5* luxury, but you're not paying that price! This is a great place to sleep and head out from to enjoy tours, etc.
• Gilbert (6/5): Not 4 stars - Minibar with juices and soda and also tea in the room free of charge Sympatric receptionist. This is not a 4 stars hotel. I could call it a B&B but the breakfast was very poor at a caffe nearby. The only reason I see 4 stars would be the size of the room that was reasonable. Very noisy toilets flush that could awake the whole floor. Shower booth so small I barley could get into it.

• Nurdan (10/5): Good location and very clear - It was a great experience. I travel alone and always look for a safe place. Relais has a very good location. It is very close to the Duomo metro station. So it was very easy to get there by metro. Garibaldi and the central station are 1 stop away. There were many options for food and drinks in the area, you don't have to go far. The university, cafes, restaurants and bars are very close. Breakfast is a classic Italian style coffee and croissant. You can find it in cafes 40-50 meters away. My room was cleaned every day, all the bathroom supplies were renewed every day, the cleaning lady was very friendly. The receptionist always sent informative messages and helped with everything. Thank you Relais😊

The location as great, 2 minutes walk from the Duomo Metro station, 10 minutes from the central station. The room was great, plenty of room, very clean and very well maintained. Ilton the manager met us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Provided us with information and assistance as required. Nothing was too much trouble. The combination of a great room with such great service was fantastic and really helped make our stay in Naples. We would recommend Ilton and this property to anyone visiting Naples.

• Thierry (6/5): - S'agit il d'un hôtel ? Ca rentrerait plutôt dans la catégorie chambre chez l'habitant. A l'arrivée la clef est à chercher dans la boite aux lettres et le petit-déjeuner se prend au café du coin de la rue. Rapport qualité/ prix déplorable.

Busy with traffic noise, graffiti and rubbish and dog poop everywhere but the area grows on you. Overall very satisfied with our visit. Easy 15 minute walk to the train station.
• Vilma (10/5): Friendly, clean, comfortable and great location - Inton and Mary are both amazing. Mart greeted us as soon as we arrived and immediately called Inton. The free breakfast at Zambardino is filling enough and they open at 6:30 AM so we had enough time. The refrigirator always have drinks that’s included. The location is excellent. The Duomo is just few minutes walk and the Metro station is just few steps away. If we go back to Naples we will book Relais Reneire again.

I like hotels with 24hrs reception and different Set up however Ilton , the manager was such a great host, very kind and very helpful that it my staying there very enjoyable The hotel is placed very closed to the central train and the bus stations. Metro station - Duomo is just across the street and the Ancient City is in a walking distance The set up of this hotel

• Lenka (8/5): Good place to stay in Naples. - Location was good, quite and everything we need, we have in walking distance. Staff was very helpfull and kind. Breakfast was easy, but okay. Little smell in the bathroom. Otherwise it was nice and very clean.
