- Rachel (7/5): Was good for a short stay but wasn’t happy with the room layout. - I liked that it was in the middle of old quarter. Many things were easily accessible from the hotel. Staff were very nice. The space feels inefficiently used. Lighting is really dim making it hard to see. Room was fairly hot/stuffy even when aircon was on.

And on top of that, the hôtel is located in the old quarter, in a quiet area, to get some rest before diving into the buzzy life of Hanoï. I would 100% recommend staying at Cocon hose. Pearl en My waren geweldig! <3 De kamers zijn klein maar heel goed ingedeeld. De bedden zijn comfortabel, net als de douche! Het ligt heel centraal wat fijn is, maar wel echt naast veel hostels en uitgaansstraten. Dus veel muziek, troep, etc. Maar opzich heb je daar binnen weinig last van! In de kamers was het enige dat er geen plek was om echt je koffer goed open te leggen.

Get the breakfast and relax before heading out. The staff is both kind and resourceful. They helped me finding transportation to Ninh Binh, recommended a terrific restaurant, plus made sure I was well taken care of; felt as if I was hanging w/friends = they were that authentic. Book, get yourself a Grab Ride app & enjoy this wonderful city. I read that the area is loud &, well yes, this is Old Town Hanoi. Yet, I had no trouble sleeping & could barely hear any distractions from outside. I also booked this hotel twice during my stay in Vietnam & when I come back, this is where I'm heading. Reals!

Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, Frühstück war lecker und es gab Hafermilch. Wasser, Kaffee und Tee gab es dauerhaft kostenlos in der Lobby Unser Zimmer im ersten Stock war sehr schön, aber etwas hellhörig. Die Dusche und Toilette hatten einen direkten Lüftungsschacht zur Lobby wodurch wir mehrfach von Gästen, die sehr früh morgens auschecken geweckt wurden.

The staff are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people we encountered during our trip. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing, which was a welcome contrast to the lively chaos of the old quarter. If you appreciate thoughtful architecture and beautifully designed spaces, you’ll love this place. We would absolutely return—it was easily the best accommodation we experienced in all of Vietnam. It's hard to find anything but I would say the rooms are on the small size but I think it's normal in the old quarter.

Bed was so comfy best sleep in Vietnam so far. Towels were lovely, hand soap etc all excellent quality. Lovely communal space with coffee and teas served, games and books. Staff are just so nice. I just loved this place. It’s still in the busy part but like a little oasis down a secluded alleyway. You can’t hear any noise from outside, very peaceful.

Danke an Pearl für deinen Einsatz bezgl. unseres Gepäcks. Generell haben wir einen hervorragenden Service erleben dürfen. Pearl kann perfekt englisch und My (die durften wir einen Tag später kennenlernen) kann sogar Deutsch - Sie lernt die Sprache gerade. Wir wurden mit offenen Armen empfangen. Vielen Dank für alles ❤️

- Harrison (10/5): Right in the heart of Hanoi. - The staff are so nice and helpful. Concon is tucked away in an alley off the hustle and bustle of the old quarter. The rooms were comfy and spacious. Would stay here again. The Hanoi street life did make it up to our room, but it was a weekend so we didn’t mind.

- Molly (10/5): Central location with an amazing shower - Right in the centre of Hanoi and near Beer Street. Staff let us leave our bags till we needed to check in and then gave us everything we needed. Hotel was really nice, clean, and nicely decorated. Fresh distilled water was given to us and a little leaflet detailing lots of different restaurants, activities and things to do in Hanoi. Special shout out to the shower – after travelling for 2 weeks in 30+ degree heat (when you’re from England), you can start to feel extra sweaty no matter how many showers you take. Water pressure also can be a bit hit and miss in hotels but this one was perfect and we both felt squeaky clean at the end of it.

But with dozens of Booking.com bookings, the Concon House was the only one that lead to spam solicitation where people knew our booking details and wanted credit card info for “verification” or “pre-authorization”. Something weird here. Rooms are tiny small, barely bigger than the bed. Hard to know where to unpack. Noisy area within the pedestrian old town.

The hotel is quiet despite being close to one of the busiest street in Hanoi. The personnel is friendly and helpful. Despite the rooms being very stylish and charming their configuration wasn't wery functional, there was hardly any space for opening our luggage. The sink in the bathroom was impractical and will spill water every time I washed my hands, also there were no places where to hang the towels.

The location was exactly in the city centre which was convenient to walk by everywhere nearby but we had a problem with ordering a taxi because it’s a very crowded area. Besides that would definitely recommend The room was very pretty but if you have two big suitcases if was a big challenging to unpack them both at the same time. So if you have a lot of luggage go for a bigger room.

The space was modern and clean which I appreciate. it was also in an alley way so it was nice and quiet. We were on the higher floor so we had a view over the city. The layout was a bit tight to have our suitcase opened both. We wish that the toiletries provided was a bit better - we used our own. The method of payment was through an app which was a bit lengthy - i suggest that the owner sets up Mastercard or visa for payment directly.

Not suitable for larger laptops.

We were in the top floor which definitely helped reduce noise too. The room is superb and cozy, the building interesting, but most of all the staff was so incredible kind and welcoming. Mi (I hope I spell it right) and also the nightshift girl (sorry, we did not catch the name) - I can‘t recommend them more. Thank you!

There is absolutely nothing I didn’t like, it was perfect. However, becuase of the very central location in Hanoi Old Town, I would recommend getting a room on the top floor (we were 7 out of 8 and it was perfect).
