- Carina (10/5): Beautiful relaxing stay! - We stayed in the sauna room at Moonlight tay ho hotel. We were really surprised because it was even better then the pictures!! Checking in was easy and you even get 2 room keys. The room we had came with a sauna, steam bath and even a little terras with trees and plants everywhere. It was really nice. The people that work here are very nice too. Especially Alice who gave us a warm greeting and really helped us out with our cancelled flight. She is a life saver! Would definitely recommend the hotel! The only thing is that the bath takes a while to get warm and sometimes the warm water isn't enough.

- Adrien (6/5): Déçu - belle vue sur le lac, logement grand (voir trop grand et mal exploité), au calme -WC sale (signalé mais personne n'est venu les laver !) et peu de papier toilette -pas de petit déjeuner -finitions du logement pas très bien fait et grossier -prise extérieure murale ne fonctionne pas -photo assez trompeuse (peut être pas volontaire), on pourrait croire que la chambre se situe au niveau du lac en rez-de-chaussée mais en fait pas du toute, elle se situe au 9ème étage ! -interrupteur de l'entrée qui se fait dans le couloir c'est-à-dire que quelqu'un de l'extérieur peut allumer la lumière et vous réveillez dans la nuit ! Pas logique du tout (d'ailleurs pour le reste des interrupteurs tout est fait n'importe comment on sait jamais quoi allume quoi) -logement mal isolé on entend les gens -salle de bain petite par rapport à la taille du logement (qui est démesuré et rempli avec énormément de meubles qui ne servent pas du tout au final) -étendoir à serviette au dessus des toilettes (pas très hygiénique !) Il faudrait le mettre ailleurs et il y a assez de place pour le faire -une seule fenêtre (baie vitré) au final pour tout l'appartement donc logement qui manque cruellement de luminosité -espaces privatifs extérieurs laissés à l'abandon (sales, abîmés...) -canapé électrique qui n'est pas branché et impossible de le brancher car il n'y a pas de prise à proximité! -luminaires muraux qui ne fonctionnaient pas Au final, assez déçu et surtout pour le prix élevé. J'ai choisi un autre hôtel pour la dernière nuit au même prix avec petit déj et un meilleur emplacement autour du petit lac d'Hanoï (vieux quartier). Sur les photos c'est beau et ça semble super, mais une fois dedans, on est déçu.

Be aware that you have to take a taxi to get to the old quarter, but since we are pensioners this was fine. Area is quiet and the accommodation was spacious for the price paid.

- Chloe (7/5): Quiet and fun location, large space, great view, but a few things to work on within the apartment. - We liked the quiet location near the lake, surrounded by lovely coffee shops and thrift stores. We also liked the balcony with our very own fish pond! Great view :) the room was very spacious and comfortable, and if you wanted to cook and eat at the apartment, there was ample space and equipment for that. We enjoyed the area and the quietness of the apartment the most. Great area to stay in after a busy few days in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The staff were friendly and helpful as well, thank you all! There were quite a few things not working or broken, including light switches in the bedroom, something that looked like a heater lamp in the bathroom (although we didn't know what it was, and whenever we turned it on it made a strange beeping sound so we kept it off), and the kitchen fume hood. Also, the light switch for the lights in our hallway outside of our bathroom within our apartment was only accessible in the main hallway by the lifts! Meaning that at the end of the day, we needed to go outside the room to turn off our lights (this was often just as we were getting to bed and not wanting to go outside) so that was rather inconvenient. There was a massive glass wall looking out onto an internal garden outside the bedroom in the main hallway by the lifts, and although it was pretty to look at from our apartment, if you were walking around inside the apartment and someone was out by the lifts and looked round the corner - they could easily see you clearly! Not private at all. There were also quite a few tiles missing or loose on the balcony which made it difficult to walk on.

- Thomas (9/5): Highly recommended 👌 - This appartment has a balcony with a beautiful view, and everything that you need. Clean and comfortable. The best thing about this place is the location, this street by the lake has the atmosphere of a small town with friendly neighbours, great coffee, very quiet compared to the rest of hanoi with its busy streets with motorcycles. We felt very at home here and would definitely stay here again if we would return to hanoi. Big thanks to the wonderfull staff Alice, Liam and Tony who were very kind and helpful during our stay. The only thing we recommend to improve is the lights in the apparment. It lacks small more warm light and reading lights by the bed. To have a bit less of a hospital-light atmosphere we had most lights off and bought candels to make it more cozy.
