• Carol (8/5): We enjoyed staying here. Great location. Very clean! - The train station is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I thought that I might hear the trains but the room was quiet. The location is a 10 to 15 minute walk into the old quarter. There are nice restaurants, cafes, etc. close by. All the staff was very professional, and accommodating, and friendly. The lighting in the kitchen area could have been brighter.

• Kuroko (8/5): - The spacious clean room, comfortable bed and hot shower. It is close to the train station and thus, the famous train street. There were always 2 bottles of drinking water placed in the room everyday, which was very helpful. Functioning washing machine was also very nice as I was able to wash my clothes. The staff were all very helpful. The first room I was given had this smell that gave me a headache. I am assuming that the smell was a mix of cigarette smoke smell and room fragrance, despite it was a non-smoking room. The hotel was very kind to replace me in another vacant room.

• Mafalda (8/5): - Hot water in abundance. Small but comfy and with quality and organized As every place in Vietname, corners and small places more hidden are not well cleaned. And in a small room like this, we get more in touch with them. AC is very good but the air hits directly in bed. It gets uncomfortable, even changing the fan direction

Allerdings kommt durch das Fenster in den unteren Stockwerken kein Tageslicht, da es einen Ausblick in einem engen Schacht bietet. Täglicher Zimmerservice, Bett bequem. Heißes Wasser, guter Wasserdruck. Lage sehr gut, die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß ins ca. 20 min zu erreichen, Train Street sogar in 5 min. In Bad ab und an muffiger Geruch aus dem Abfluss

• Pierrette (8/5): TRès bon séjour dans un petit hôtel bien placé dans le vieille ville. - La proximité avec le logement de notre fille. La gentillesse du personnel et le prix plus que convenable. Les chambres sur la rue sont un peu bruyantes, il faudrait du double vitrage.

We checked in late and left early and that was no issues Host didn’t speak any English so we communicated through Google translate, but it worked good enough

• Claude (1/5): - Proximité de la gare J'avais réservé la chambre de 65 M2, mais cette dernière ne fait que 37 M2, la propriétaire me maintient ses proportions et ne veut rien entendre, alors qu'il est facile de vérifier avec un mètre à ruban acheté dans la rue, payer 65 M2 et n'avoir que la moitié cela s'appelle du vol.
• Barry (9/5): - Excellent central location - not in but near Old Quarter so easy to walk to places. Decent sized room -very clean with good shower and hot water. Hotel also had rooftop terrace. Staff friendly and helpful. Only 1 minor quibble....no bedside reading light so had to exit bed to put lights out .

Checking in process were smooth, rooms are clean, and had a good recharge and went off! Wish I stayed longer there not gonna lie, theres quite a few good food places around. Nothing!

• Valerio (7/5): If you’re lucky and get assigned a good room, the hotel has a convenient location. - Thanks to the guy at the night reception, we were able to get a decent room. So... this second room we were assigned was bright, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The first room we were assigned reeked so strongly of smoke that the air was unhealthy; it was dark, dirty, microscopic in size, and the bed sheets—as well as the towels—were all stained.

Great location near Hanoi train station and along bus 86 route from airport. Night staff was so helpful. Booked us tours and helped us in so many ways. This location is also so close to train street so we went there many times.

• Cui (6/5): Overall very convinent - We were there for few hours for our overnight train to SePa. The hotel we stayed before couldn’t do a late check out so we found Narcissus on booking.com. The hotel is super close to Hanoi train station only 200metres. Room was clean and had aircon, bit basic but great for what we needed. Good price too. For the price we paid and the location being so close to the train station, there is nothing I dislike about the hotel.

• Cristina (1/5): I don’t recommend to stay here - Nothing. We arrived at the hotel and the room smelt bad and was not clean at all. They were hairs in the ground We reserved 2 nights and spent 0. During the typhoon we felt unsafe to stay at this place, as there was a tree next to our balcony room that felt down after the typhoon. We asked for a refund for at least one night and they denied it, knowing it was a major force. The guy from reception was nice, but the manager Nicole had no compassion with the situation

• Stuart (6/5): Extremely noisy and no outside window - Firstly, the staff are great, and secondly the apartment was modern and clean with a good shower and facilities. The location is also very good within walking distance to the old quarter. However, the apartment is very noisy. It's close to the train tracks (see videos of train street) and you can hear every train, and each one like to use their horn, regardless of whether it's the middle of the night or not. Also the apartment didn't have a window to the outside so there is no natural light, which I found very difficult to wake in the morning. Not only contending with the train noise and darkness, the building next door is doing extensive renovations and extremely loud drilling noises start and last most of the waking day. Not much the staff can do about this, but if you book here light sleepers will not like it. I think it would have been quieter sleeping next to the road with all the bikes and their horns.
