I had some trouble during the hotel check-out process, and unfortunately, the staff did not provide enough support or assistance at that moment. Because of that, I felt really concerned and disappointed, and my whole day turned blue. It was an experience I would not want to repeat again.

It’s in a small lane and my favourite part is it is completely quiet at night. It was relaxing. I stayed alone and the room was too small that it might be only good for one person. There is nothing accessible to eat in the walking distance. The lobby doesn’t have any hotel facility like I couldn’t find a toilet downstairs or not even a place to buy coffee.

- Tiffany (8/5): - Room was cleaned meticulously everyday - staff were polite, friendly and very hardworking - appreciate them helping to carry my luggage and open the taxi doors when we reach back to the apartment. For the price very worth it, and would definitely stay again. Security is also very strict and good, only residents with the card can access the lifts and their allocated level, they are not allowed to go to other levels. I left my eye mask in the fridge, and contacted the hotel via Booking.com, and they replied within 10 minutes. Very impressed with the service and how they helped to past my item to my friend staying in kunkin. :) Thank you for a wonderful stay at KunKin, I will be back! Toilets and sinks and showers were clean, just for my room 901 there was a little ventilation problem where the smell after a number 2 lingers for awhile in the room and doesn't clear off fast enough.

He confirmed that if a room would be available that we could make of that room first, before the other rooms would get ready. Upon arrival, the front desk requested a 30% surcharge for early check in. They said it's their hotel policy. I explained that i had a different agreement with the manager and showed her the communication. She then suddenly had no rooms available (which made me wonder why she would then ask for a 30% surcharge to begin with.) We finally got the first room at 13:00 and the other two at 14:00. The maids are very noisy in the hallways and don't respect the do not disturb sign. There's a church next to the hotel so be ready to wake up early. service and honesty. And maybe an apology

The apartment itself is very well maintained but slightly tight if you are a tall person. The staff were all lovely and helpful.

Will start from good thing : very friendly staff, good cleaning, nice apartment, beautiful view, I really enjoyed wake up in this apartment, you can contact staff through WhatsApp if you need anything. We had 2 floor loft. Now I want to make same in my apartment too, really cool. They gave us few paper caps because we had nothing in our apartment. Location is okay, delivery here is super fast and taxi as well for a good price. And here we start with bad sights. When you book apartments, with inches and other stuff, you hope that you will be able to cook there right. But the do not provide any cooking equipment. Nothing really, only cattle, 2 spoons, 2 glass cups. When I asked them to give me some pan - they told that all this stuff they give only to long stay guests (we stayed for 2 weeks). And we payed for 2 weeks same price as for a month, because it’s “short rental”, but could not get anything, so we were not able to cook, and it was not different from the hotel. Also when I just booked this apartment few month ago I told straight away that I am blogger so I will leave my comments anyway everywhere, they answered me in booking chat that we have the best room on 9 floor for you. Whah do you think?) First night we got super small room on 7th floor, room was really 22 meters maximum, for 2 people that work “from home” it’s unacceptable, at her I came into reception and showed that this is not the room which we booked, that gave us room on 8th floor, bigger and with church view (this is what you should ask for, 805 as far as I remember), it was not the room they promised but this room was really far better that 1st one. I do not know why hotel always try to give something bad and wait for people to complain… Staff always need to call “boss” to doublecheck everything. They told me that I can use pool and gym in KunKin Garden when we checked in, next day women told me that I will be charged extra for that, next day lady told me no it’s mistake it’s free, and next day again they rejected me to come there! I was shocked. Like really small swimming pool cause such problems?) I even had screenshots that I could use it for free because I knew this will happen. Also when I finally came to the pool they did not ask me ANYTHING, so that conversation actually had no sense.

After a long day touring the city and the Mekong Delta we wanna go back to a more quiet place so we can rest and this is the perfect place. You couldn’t ask for more - staff here is super friendly and definitely deserves a 5 star rating. Housekeeping and bellboy definitely deserve big tips. 👍 Can’t think of any dislike about Kunkin. The staff is friendly and has been very helpful to us. We were able to visit nearby places very easily. It’s a good hotel in the area, potentially better than some hotels in the city center, but at a more affordable price. I will recommend it to friends if they need to visit Ho Chi Minh City." Aircon managed to cool the room very well. 3min walk to a convenience store and city centre easily accessible via ride-hailing apps. Quiet at night. Staff were very nice and friendly. Lack of cutlery and utensils (only 2 glasses & 2 teaspoons) so no cooking could be done in the apartment.

Communicated this and nothing was addressed nor compensated. Checked out to LA VELA and had the best hotel experience. Kunkin is disgustingly deceptive. Booked for 3 nights and could only tolerate 1. Obscene construction 20m across the road and some amazing creative photography licenses on the advertised room spaces. Small, loud, musty and unaccommodating. - Nguyen (5/5): Passable - We make a mistake by booking this hotel on the wrong day (1 day earlier), but the staff did not reach us to check our arrival, just made deduct from our credit card payment. When we reached the hotel next day, the staff asked us we have to pay for next day with much higher rate (about 30-40%).

- Verified traveler (10/5): Home away from home - Love hot rain showers and the ability to control the temperature of the room. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It's in the safe and quiet neighborhood and close to everything that I need. I will stay here again when I come back to the area.
