- Natalie (9/5): This was a delightful stay in a quieter area of Phu My Hung. - The room was clean and comfortable. Toiletries were provided in the restroom. I especially liked that you could open two balcony doors to let in a breeze in the morning while you sip your coffee.

What impressed me the most was the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff. Every request was handled quickly. When a small issue occurred (such as the air conditioner), they responded immediately and even proactively offered to move me to a better room to ensure my comfort — truly thoughtful and respectful service. Check-in and check-out were smooth and straightforward. I felt safe and comfortable, just like being at home. I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely come back and recommend this place to friends.

- Thai Quynh Thu (10/5): - We stayed here the whole time during our summer trip in Vietnam. The hotel located in Phu My Hung area which is a quiet and safe neighbourhood. One of the top reason we decided to book here. Many amenities nearby such as restaurants, 7-11/Circle K, a cafe, pharmacy - literally just steps away. It was super convenient. Also it’s not too far to go to downtown core by taxi. Front desk staff is friendly and nice. We had to check-in late at night, although when we arrived no one was there but within <10mins, a staff came and took care of us. Since the hotel is fairly new, their room is clean and nicely decorated. Also equipped with kettle, a microwave and some utensils, which is great for medium to long term stay. Daily housekeeping and free water are also provided. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommend!

Staff were welcoming and efficient. Perfect location for a soft landing to Vietnam. Expat high standard of living. Great vegan restaurant across the road. Couldn’t be happier and will stay again. Lots of nice places to eat and shopping centre close by. Exactly as photos. You book here with confidence. The only thing they could improve is replace timber blinds with black out blind and a bedside lamp. Then it would be a 10/10

- Zsanett (10/5): Exceptional - It looks like the pictures. Clean, comfortable. It is in a green belt, in a quiet location, far from the centre, which we liked very much. Within a short walk there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, even a large shopping centre. Centre is very noisy with lots of people. It was more relaxing to sleep here at night. The room was described as having a safe, in reality there was none. The reception is staffed very shortly, you could communicate by phone if the reception was empty. It didn't hinder us during our stay, but I prefer a personal presence if there is someone to contact immediately.

- Andrew (8/5): Very good hotel in a nice area - The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and I loved the free coffee. It was close walking distance to restaurants and shops in D7. Expensive by HCMC standards but maybe worth the money if you want a little bit of extra comfort. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from other rooms, chairs being dragged, doors being slammed. If someone was talking in the corridor it was like they were sitting beside your bed.

The room was spacious and Hieu was friendly and very supportive during the stay. May a night shift staff be arranged, which ensure the 24/7 security although Phu My Hung’s security is already good.

- Vanessa (9/5): A little jewel in South Saigon - It was a very comfortable little apartment, perfect for a couple. It’s conveniently located close to the SSIS school where we were attending a sports event. The staff were very quick to attend to any issue we experienced, which were minor. The residential area is very peaceful and calm, close to the river and has lots of coffee shops to visit. Some bedside lights and a few more plates /glasses in the kitchen would be appreciated.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean hotel with helpful staff in a great location - This is my first time visiting Ho Chi Minh and I specially looked for a quieter district to stay in, which brought me to district 7. Reviews of Golden Sun is great, so I decided to book 3 nights of stay here and it was the best decision made! Room is clean, front-desk receptionist is friendly and helpful, this neighbourhood is well situated to many cafes, eateries, super marts, etc. In addition, free coffee (your choice of espresso, latte, flat white etc) is served in the morning at the lobby by the capable receptionist-turned-barista with a professional grade espresso machine!

The rooms are new and very neat and clean with all amenities. Its like having a mini apartment in the city to yourself. Property is very close to the Saigon exhibition center hence very convenient location . Staff is very helpful. It is far from the city center.

- Gregory (10/5): Wow - really nice stylish gem - Wow.. this apartment is well designed finished - clean and good quality fittings everywhere - a stylish place. The room is comfortable, very good linen and mattress, aircon and showers all work great. Kitchen space and cooktop is usable and good. It is in a quiet area, off main road, but easy walking to many restaurants, supermarkets and ATM banks. District 7 is great my preferred long stay area, and great for access to the SECC convention centre. No in building room service or restaurant- but otherwise it feels like new 5 star hotel quality. Definitely will come back here, for short stays and long stays. Can’t think of anything I didn’t like 🤷♂️
