They helped me by booking a transfert to the airport at 6am (same price that Grab) and did packed a take away breakfast for me. The room and bathroom are little bit small but if you are looking for a place just to sleep its perfect!

• kira uspensky- Makarova (5/5): - The staff was very friendly and tried to help with all questions.Breakfast (in the neighboring building ,1 minute walk, not in the hotel itself) was modest, but quite tasty and fresh. The staff prepared breakfast quickly. The room is large, but tired. It's clear it hasn't been updated in a while. The bathroom has old fixtures, and the water was constantly leaking. There are signs of dampness. If you're looking for a quiet room, this isn't the hotel for you. The soundproofing is poor, and it's very noisy in the evening.

Stairs really really narrow, absolutely not comfortable with bags. Breakfast really bad. Breakfast place hot and without Aircon. Payment with card charge extra 5%.

• BRIAN LUIS (10/5): Center of the Old Quarter - One of the cheaper stays in Old Quarter. Very walkable to many shops, street food and tourist spots. A working elevator. Card-activated electricity in the room- understandable, but we frequently got back in the room at very humid temperatures

Great stay in a great location being right in the heart of the old quarter. After a few days I fell a little ill and unfortunately had to cancel a tour I had already booked. But I plan on doing it next time I visit Hanoi

Breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of options to start the day. One area for improvement would be the air conditioning, as it could be more effective in cooling the room, especially during warmer days. Despite this flaw, we wouldstill recommend this hotel for its hospitality, great location, and satisfying breakfast experience.

O quarto até estava limpo e a cama era confortável, o problema foi a condição principalmente do banheiro. Muito mofo no teto e parede e um cheiro estranho (tipo vômito). Propriedade antiga, o acesso ao quarto bem precário com escadas estreitas e um elevador minúsculo que sobe bem devagar (dá medo de ficar presa ali).

• Sushil (7/5): Comfortable stay in a centrally located area - The location is very good. It's quite close to Hoan Kiem Lake, shopping and a lot of restaurants. All tour companies picked us up from the hotel. The room was spacious with a large bed (King Suite). It was equipped with the basic amenities - toiletries, electric kettle, coffee, etc. The staff was very good and accommodated us for an extra hour at check-out. Breakfast was provided and was quite good. It comprised a sufficient spread with eggs to order. 1. The restaurant for breakfast was a short walk away. This caused us issues especially since our tour pick up was very early and we were not able to enjoy a quick breakfast before leaving. 2. The flow of water in the shower in the bathroom was slow. It was not up to standard. 3. Most hotels give extra coffee sachets when requested. This one did not.

It was nice having large doors which opened allowing in the cool breeze and sounds from outside...not feeling closed in a box. Breakfast was basic, but sufficient. Housekeeping forgot to leave towels and were unfriendly when asked for some.
