Guest Reviews
- Dan (10/5): - Excellent hosts forgot charger called me promptly and said to pick up any time they are 24s. Very clean.
- Janet (8/5): - The properly was a out dated , but clean.
- Richard (8/5): - Was great for a quick stay. Beds are comfortable and lots of room. Small kichenet area if you need.
- Ron (10/5): - All good
- Omadevi (4/5): - Smelly carpet. Just stinks
- Teresa (10/5): One night bike trip. - Older hotel but staff are wonderful and very helpful. Stayed one night on a motorcycle trip. Quiet room and slept well. Very comfortable bed.
No coffee pot in the room but Tim Hortons close enough to walk.
- Travis (2/5): - Didn’t have my room available even though I booked it days ago
- jeff (4/5): - tv not work properly, run down dump. It's days are over.....for me
- Lynn-Marie (4/5): - The place had a smell to it, but got a little better once the AC was turned on. There was only 1 light bulb in the a 5 light unit in the bathroom, so was too dark, especially for women putting on makeup. There was a small "kitchenette" which was convenient but the fluorescent bulb over the sink burnt out. The carpet had staining throughout, that really should be deep cleaned. The
TV was terrible, very hard to figure out the system they had for watching shows. It took a very long time to figure it out. The AC unit was noisy, but then again most are. lol
The upside, bed was comfortable enough, along with the pillows. The hot water was instantaneously hot, VERY impressed with that!
If we had to, we would stay again, as it was close to downtown.
- Albert (6/5): - The furniture was old but in good condition. The room was clean but really needed un update in carpeting and drapery. The building also was in desperate need of a paint job. But the bed was comfortable.
- John (6/5): - Walkable distance to downtown area & restaurants, shops & attractions.
- Janice (10/5): - Extremely clean staff were very friendly. Loved the decor in the room. Previous negative reviews that i saw have bo validity.
- Mary (6/5): - I had called the Inn a couple days prior to let them know I’d be checking in late as we had a show in Lindsay that didn’t end until after 10pm. They said it was fine and nothing further. We showed up after 11pm and the place was dark, looked like it was closed up. The sign said to call the number. So we did and pounded on the front door a bunch of times. After about 8-10 mins they opened the door and checked us in. I was really worried after seeing Google reviews vs Expedia reviews. We got the room that looked identical to the photos shown here. Perhaps they reserve the room for Expedia guests. Behind the beds was really dusty and cobwebs but otherwise was clean. We didn’t try to watch tv. Facilities were clean. The Inn appears to be family owned so doesn’t follow regular check in procedures as expected from other hotels. Take this review for what it is. My risk taking ended up being ok. Just not sure what room I would have ended up with had I not booked on Expedia. Felt safe. Beds were ok, not super comfortable or uncomfortable. I paid for what I got I suppose.
- Thanasis (10/5): - Nice place, the only thing I would recommend is to add instructions about how to use the TV .
- John (6/5): - Tired, needs upgrading. Clean and the bed was good. Only issues. 1. The TV is complex to put on and find the channels, there are two changers. 2. The TV kept freezing, very annoying. 3. There is a mini kitchen, two plates, two bowls no cutlary and no way of making tea or coffee, you cant even boil water.
- Linda (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE!! This property is VERY rundown and dated. The wooden porch and stairs that lead to the upstairs rooms are dilapidated. There are vagrants living in the downstairs rooms. Each room is equipped with an old wooden chair and full cigarette butt can outside the door so they can sit out and smoke. We didn't feel safe enough to stay here. No refund policy of course otherwise they would have no income. Book at own risk!
- Ronald (2/5): - Ron showed to us was not the one booked. Room we assigned smelled of urin and tons of air freshener spray trying to cover it up. Stairs to second level are loose and unsafe. Could not stay there. Would not recommend this property to anyone.
- Irina (2/5): - :(
- Terri (2/5): - Do not recommend this hotel to anyone - it is one of the most disgusting places I have laid eyes on….and to think I got charged a goodly price for it as well. Outdated furniture, missing lightbulbs over the sink (only 2 out of 5 were actually in place), smelly like cigarettes (I do not smoke), no coffee maker, decor from the 70’s….it should be shut down.
- Mindy (2/5): - It stank, the floors were dirty and sticky , the AC was very very loud like wakes you up. The blanket was dirty and dusty .
- Penny (4/5): - No coffee maker
Air conditioner was too noisy, very loud.
Not enough towels and face cloths
- Peter (8/5): - The motel is dated but care is taken to present a clean and comfortable room. A quiet, tranquil place to spend the night.
- John (6/5): - It was ok
- Lisa (8/5): - The property itself is a little outdated, but overall our stay was great. The location was perfect and quiet. We would stay again.
- Tom (6/5): - It’s a two or three star hotel at the best - don’t expect more. Upkeep on the exterior is very lacking.
- David (8/5): - The young lady at front desk was helpful. Nobody at front desk following morning when trying to drop off keys
- Steve (6/5): - Property needs to be updated
- renu (10/5): - Staff are friendly , rooms are clean and close to Falls and Downtown.
- Nicholas (10/5): - The room we were in had new laminate flooring. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We will be back next time we need to stay in the area.
- Barry (6/5): Inexpensive basic accommodation - Clean, basic, accommodation for a one night trip. The entire building is a little worse for age and where and needs a major facelift. The room offered a fridge, microwave and sink with a few dishes and a bit of cutlery, but no dish towels nor soap for washing up.
- Celia (2/5): - Very disappointing. The room was “non-smoking” but it stank horribly. The outside door had evidence of a forced entry , not replaced and poorly patched up. The bathroom door had a fist sized hole. Very outdated. Carpet stained and had cigarette burns. The grounds were unkept and littered with debris ( old a/c units, broken furniture etc.). Do not recommend.
