We were very grateful for the very early arrival we were gifted as we had to be at the first hockey practice so early in the morning. Thank you! The suite was lovely and perfect for what we needed accommodations for. Nice private bedroom, comfortable pullout bed in the living room area for our nephew. The kitchen facilities and bathroom areas had everything we needed. So nice and quiet, very safe environment, good parking, walkable to the rec centre, very nice renovations and sparkling clean. Thank you for everything. We would certainly return and would highly recommend South Shore Motel to others.

It seemed to be coming from the bedroom area. We also would have preferred a fridge versus a wine chiller. But this place was amazing! We loved how roomy, clean and quiet it was.

The room was comfortable, clean, spacious and the kitchenette well equipped with utensils. The property was topped off with easy access to a nature reserve and trail through a great stream side forest.

- Vanessa (10/5): - Lovely little motel! Very clean and comfortable. Was a 10 min walk to downtown shops, restaurants, and the river tubing. Self check-in was a breeze. Although there’s no front desk/lobby the motel is available by phone. Someone was there shortly after we checked in and made sure everything was all good as we were heading out for a walk. Definitely would stay here again!

Everything was clean and in excellent shape. We saw a peacock and deer in the yard. Excellent coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, parks, trails & beaches within short drives from the motel. We stayed for a week and we plan on returning next time we return to the island.

Nice kitchenette with complimentary coffee, coffeemaker, kettle, microwave, fridge and plates/cutlery etc. . Easy to book with self check-in via text and/or email with owner.

- Connie (10/5): Charming motel - This was a pleasant surprise. We weren’t sure what to expect, but the room was enchanting. Things look to have been redecorated recently. I was a bit surprised there was no air-conditioning, and completely surprised there was no hairdryer. I would have brought one had I known. Those two things aside, I would definitely stay here again. Good value for the money.

I thought I booked the large room with the sofa and kitchenette, I did not. The delux room is the small room. It all worked out. If you stay here consider having breakfast at the Country Mart Grocery Store, their food is excellent.

I dont recall seeing anything that described the room as micro but that may have been my mistake. It would have been nice to have a couple chairs to sit on outside, maybe have a drink instead of having to leave. Overall… too cramped for our liking. Getting around the bed, trying not to hit the tv and trying to find an outlet for the coffee maker were just a bit frustrating. Contactless check in and out was good with good communication.

- Darin (10/5): - Recently remodeled, check in process was simple and efficient for later arrivals, room was very nice and well appointed, bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great. The only negative was that the room was very warm, it was a warm day in the area, and it didn’t really ever cool off even with the ceiling fans running. The fans were helpful and maybe if they’d been running before we go there it would have helped. Overall it was an excellent stay and we’d definitely go back and stay again.
- James (10/5): Great stay for a one night stopover - If you're traveling without cell service, make sure you get internet somewhere on the day of your arrival because that's how/when you'll receive your check in info. There's no office/reception, you get your room number and lock code. Worked fine for us. Also make sure you know what you're looking for because the modern gray building is set perpendicular to the road, and there's a light colored sketch looking apartment building facing the road near the Motel sign. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Room was clean, modern, had everything we needed.

- Mark (6/5): - This motel has no front desk so the idea is that it is supposed to email each guest with their check in details, including the door entry code, but I didn't receive this because I booked through Expedia. I contacted Expedia but they didn't help. I showed up at the motel at check in time anyway and thankfully there was someone who could help me get in. The room itself was comfortable and looked recently renovated. The smoke alarm kept beeping, keeping me awake at night. The television was complicated but I managed to watch YouTube on it. The location was great and the price for the room was reasonable.
