- Louise (8/5): - Really great apartment, central location. Was a bit noisy late at night but that didn’t bother us. Entry system fine once you work it out! Big light and airy space. Well resourced and stocked. Lovely rooftop terrace. Could do with a little bit of TLC: tap and plug a bit loose in bathroom, sofabed bedding was a littler worn, not all the outlets worked and the kitchen tap needs a new washer but generally it was a really great stay and we’d happily stay again!

The space was clean and bigger than I expected . Had a problem with door but when i called I had immediatly someone to help me . I would stay here again for sure .

- Susan (6/5): - Some of lights don't work. The light in the hall flickers like in a slasher movie. The comforter and bedding is down and it is summer. We about sweat to death. Large scratches on door. Closet doesn't shut. Divider panels are broken. Not a bad experience. More of a "meh" experience.
- Leanne (6/5): - What was great: 1. unique and interesting decor (we stayed in an Asian-inspired room with educational facts about the contribution of Chinese settlers to Victoria-fantastic), 2. fairly well-appointed supplies, 3. full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge and stove, 4. laundry facilities right in the bedroom was handy, 5. Immediate and courteous response from management when issues arose (we had a bit of trouble with the door code which was fixed right away). What could be improved: 1. only available A/C was a unit in bedroom & we were there during an unseasonably warm spell, so it was quite hot in the living area & kitchen. 2. We ran out of toilet paper during our stay and contacted management, who assured us it would be replenished; several hours later, still nothing so we had to ask again. Not a big deal but an avoidable inconvenience. Overall, a good budget option but not sure we'd return, to be honest.

Our code didn’t work the first time but the property manager was able to send me a new one immediately. The couch wasn’t very comfortable for relaxing on while watching TV. Walls and ceiling were thin so could hear neighbors and neighbors could hear us.

- Cole (10/5): - We got in super late (around 2am) and had an issue with the door getting into our suite. Called at 2am and a gentleman called us right back in 30 seconds to solve the issue. Also had an issue with the TP holder and he said we were all set no issues. Location was also perfect, within walking distance of almost everything downtown.

The check in was poor as, even though we emailed for details, we didn't receive a response to the correct email address and ending up phoning for confirmation. Upon arrival the lift call button wasn't working hence another phone call - just hassle we could do without upon arrival. The building itself was fine, the flat clean and tidy but the sky light windows meant a very disturbed sleep as no blinds. Would make much more sense to have the bedroom on the lower floor and lounge upstairs, leading to the outside. Outside unappealing with dead plants and bird mess and no view whilst sat down. Clean and tidy but wouldn't opt to stay here again as didn't sleep well at all. Needs re-thinking.

It was a repulsive smell so it felt very unclean 12) air/heat on wall broken, no directions how to use and found out later from mgr I needed 2 different remote controls that were missing 13) windows were filthy 14) toilet needs a deep clean, looks neglected and stained 15) I liked the way it was decorated and size

- Ross (8/5): - We were pleasantly surprised by the flat and its location. The entry and check in process was seamless and there was plenty of communication about access before our arrival. The unit was well equipped, with the exception of an umbrella. It seems there was one at one time, but it was no longer available. The unit was tidy throughout although the carpets could use a freshen up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. A nice touch was the make up removing facecloth and especially the white noise machine. It was very useful as the unit wasn't quiet. Not only due to the neighbours, but there was a movie being filmed in the alley directly outside of the flat. Can't imagine this is an issue very often, but it just happened to coincide with the duration of our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Short walk to The Empress, the Wharf, Museums, etc. The furnishings and layout were very comfortable. Everything clean in and in working order. We had a little trouble with the outside gate, but the management was very helpful and responsive.

- Andrew (2/5): - The coffee machine was broken, the blinds do not block out light from the alley and the parking location they recommended was not safe. Our vehicle was broken into and multiple windows smashed. While they don’t have control of what happens outside the unit, being located next to the Salvation Army facility for the homeless was not great and a large number of sketchy people were hanging around the entrance. Finding vomit and human excrement near the entry was less than ideal.

There is a restaurant/pub just on the corner of the alley and the music and patrons were quite loud during the evening hours, but everything quietened down by midnight. Great place to stay.

Spacious room, right by quite a lot to see, good food around the corner, it was a fantastic location. There was even a surprise movie shoot right in the shared alleyway, what a delight! My only qualms were that another guest previously had re arranged some power cords so it took me a little bit to figure out the bedroom lighting.

Staff were very prompt in assisting when we phoned in, an email we sent on day one went unanswered our whole trip. The unit was clean and well stocked. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Overall great value for the price!
- Odell (6/5): Apartment with a great location, needs lights - My wife and I stayed in the Orca Suite for 1 week. All the kitchen appliances were provided as well as a washer/dryer. We had problems with the TV services but they were promptly fixed-we never did get the ROKU to work. There were too problems, entrance was thru a security gate--the keypad did not work unless pressed multiple times. The main problem was light, the apartment is all black, lighting in the kitchen and bathroom were good (except the microwave light over the stove did not work) but the light in the bedroom, dining living rooms and closets were inadequate, I resorted to using a flashlight in the closets. There are a lot of restaurants within a block, all we attended were excellent but this also meant there was a lot of street noise sometimes to 2 am.

If you're a light sleeper may not be ideal as noisy on weekends. Love the little patios & that its dog friendly. Great communication with host & self check in. I enjoyed the proximity to a beautiful park along the bay and all the amenities included in the flat. A little extra paint on the damaged doors would go a long way. I would strongly recommend this flat for one person or a couple or even to travel with a per.
- Carmen (8/5): - Nice suite with everything we needed, great location. Kind of a noisy area, but it was our choice to have the fresh air come in at night as opposed to using the air conditioner. Very convenient location.
- Kate (10/5): - We had a great time! The location could not be better. Coffee, shopping, restaurants, everything you could want is close by. Clean, cute space.
- Anne (6/5): - The room was fine, the kitchen very useable and the bed and bathroom comfortable. The only comment I would make is in regards to the key pad at the main gate. Took 3 times to get it and required a call to the landlord who had to try twice to make it happen. Once it however all was well. Very centrally located near great shopping and night life.

- Bruce (6/5): - The property was over decorated such that you had limited space around. I’m banged my shins at least 10 times the first day. The directions on how to get there are poor. You’re walking from the parking garage. I will walk right past the door. It is just the alley from the Salvation Army, which makes a little sketchy. The door code did not work and I had a call to get a new code. Wi-Fi was not working so I was lucky that I could use the same password on another unit. Very warm air air condition that did not room off , it was a very charming room

- Elizabeth (8/5): - This place is good for the price. It's not high-end -- for example, the furniture is cheap, the suite we rented had a bit of wear and tear, and the free-standing air conditioner was LOUD. But the location could not be better, and the apartment was pleasant. The owners paid a lot of attention to design details (ie. - retro fridge and microwave). Don't rent here seeking luxury, but other than that, no complaints.

- Christopher (2/5): - Do not book this place, it is a scam! We booked this trip excited to be staying in Victoria, BC. After a 12 hour day of traveling we were excited to be able to rest up for the night. We arrived at the property with our code and instructions, but we were unable to gain access. We called the number for the property management, texted the number and emailed the number with no response. There were even tenants trying to help us. After 45 minutes we booked another hotel. It has been 6 days and we still have not heard back from the property management and hotels.com is also unable to get in contact with them to get a refund.

- Earl Stanley (10/5): Delightful and memorable - Our stay in Victoria became more memorable because of the wonderful experience we had on Waddington flats. The location was great, the property was very clean, spacious, cozy and comfortable. On top of that, the property host was very nice and attentive. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Victoria, BC.
- Jose (10/5): - Everything is automatic, it does not have a reception, however, everything worked exactly as indicated, they welcomed us with a very tasty coffee, the apartment is very clean and functional, very close to the center, I was not in the habit of not being treated by one person and I didn't have any problems, I would gladly return
- MARIE-NOEL (10/5): - L’appartement est superbement décoré !! Il est bien situé dans la ville, nous avons pu tout faire à pied. Khristina a été une hôtesse remarquable surtout lorsqu’il y a eu un problème avec l’entrée. Le seul point négatif est que le quartier peut être bruyant la nuit, beaucoup de party autour. Mais Khristina avait prévu des bouchons pour les oreilles et un appareil à bruit blanc qui nous a été très utilise. Merci pour tout!!!
- Jane (6/5): Great space but too much noise from above - The space was super clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The problem was hearing everything noisy step from the room above us and the noise was constant. The people weren’t being inappropriate - they just wore heavy shoes and didn’t think about how sound travels. It really ruined our experience. They need to pad and carpet the units. Also, the customer support was great helping us when the front door lock was broken and when we couldn’t sign into Netflix. Unfortunately there was nothing they could do about the problem with how sound traveled between the floors. Also, the elevator was out of order on our last day.

- Lori (10/5): Lovely flat with extra style - Great place to stay, right at the waterfront in Victoria’s Oldtown. The flat was exactly as advertised, with lots of nice little touches like fully stocked Keurig coffee maker. Was a bit noisy on Saturday night, with people out celebrating at the nearby bars, but that’s to be expected for the locale.
