• Carolyn (8/5): - The room was very clean and comfortable though check- in was odd, you did it at a kiosk. Very thin walls between rooms and loud street noise if you stay in the front rooms. More shelf space in the bathroom is needed and a shelf in the shower to hold your shampoo etc would be nice plus a trashcan in the bathroom would be helpful. The area surrounding hotel was fine, cute downtown and close to Riviere du Loup for hiking. A few minor updates and my score would have been 5 across the board.

• Renate (10/5): Great place to stay. - No in-person check-in or check-out, but an easy process. Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms.

• Alexander (8/5): - The unstaffed check in options (at certain times) may be a con to some. However, the check in process is fairly easy and you can switch between English and French, I believe Spanish as well. If you do have an issue when the desk is unstaffed you will be directed to go across the street to the larger hotel for assistance. I would recommend smart tv's instead of local programming, as (for obvious reasons - being in Quebec) most channels was in the French language. It would be nice to have the option to log in to a personal streaming service. All is in all its not a bad place for an overnight stay. Beds were comfortable, rooms were nicely updated. Small fridge. We were 3 adults and 2 kids returning from vacationing on PEI.

• jocelyn (8/5): - The bathroom was way too small. No blow dryers. I did read on expedia there was a blow dryer so did not bring one. Had to spend 40 to get one at walmart.
• Paul (6/5): - Outside rooms with own entrances. Rooms are very small . Some difficulties checking in as its all automated . Did not discover where extras are in lobby as they are behind doors such as ice and towels..kimd of impersonal as no physical attendant

• Alcina (10/5): - Everything was so accommodating and convenient, especially for my stressful situations of why I was staying there in the first place, not a planned trip very last minute and stayed 5 nights total. Staff was awesome !! & self check in situation from what I learned new owners still figuring some stuff out but nothing too noticeable in my opinion. One thing no onsite laundry so sucked I couldn’t catch up on some where I had soo much to do. But overall amazing stay.

• Kazue (8/5): Perfect dog friendly pit stop - This was the perfect pet-friendly spot to spend the night on our way to Montréal from New Brunswick. While the rooms are tiny, they are incredibly clean and the beds are very comfortable. N.B.The rooms are NOT soundproof so you will hear the street and next door neighbors.

• Paul (2/5): - Automated check in kiosk didn't work. Had to wait for a real person to come and help get keys. Then confusion about extra credit card charges. Room is small, bathroom small, no extras...like a night stand on both sides of the bed. A shelf to put stuff would be handy. Volume on tv didn't work. Mouse dropping on bed was unnecessary. Disappointed. There's inexpensive and then there's no value for the money.
• Émilie (10/5): Très bel hôtel sans réception - Vraiment cool comme séjour! Propre, tout à porter de main, beaucoup de verres et accessoires dans la toilette. Par contre, le point négatif est qu’il n’y a pas de réception, ce qui nous a surprit, il faut prendre une machine et celle ci imprime notre carte. Dans notre cas, ça s’est facilement fait, mais j’imagine que s’il y a un probleme ça peut etre moins évidant. Malgré ça, c’était le fun et moins compliqué que je pensais donc un 9,5/10!
• Brian (8/5): Just a overnight stopover - Very clean looking place and friendly staff. Motel is low price for a reason, don’t expect all the bells and whistles. But for a sort one nighter, is worth the stay and the value.

• Debbie (6/5): - Lousy air conditioner, check in process was difficult and misleading! Room was small and plain, newly renovated but lacking in character! Expensive for what we had! Bare necessities!!
• Denis (6/5): - There is no staff in a reception. All there is is a computer's monitor with a phone on the side if you need help. In the room itself, there is no carpet at the entrance. It was raining when we arrived and could sweep put doors before walking on the floor, bringing the luggage in. There is no mirror in the bathroom, very inconvenient when you want to shave, for example. Is given only the minimum of soap, shampoo, etc. No hair dryer. On the positive side , it was a quiet. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and good water pressure.

• Roger (10/5): - We appreciated having a clean and modern room in a buget motel setting. There was lots of green space to walk our dog. The coffee machine in the shared amenities room was excellent and we appreciated the ice. I would have appreciated having an emergency number to be able to call someone if needed (plumbing problem, break & entry with damaged propterty). I would suggest including a hair dresser in the room - I do not usually travel with one as most hotels provide a dryer. Overall it was a positive experience for one night.

• Nathalie (4/5): - Very noisy, beds uncomfortable, AC loud and inconsistent, room is tiny and prices are outrageous. Most expensive night of my vacation and the least comfortable. will not return, will not recommend.

• Denise (8/5): - The room was clean and felt newly renovated. The view of the river was unexpectedly nice. Check-in was easy even though we didn't get the QR code that had been promised in advance. Would definitely stay there again on our way back to Ontario from Nova Scotia.

• Janet (4/5): - This was our only option for a stay at the last minute. The check-in was fine. The parking around the back where our room was located was limited but ok. The room, while renovated and clean was extremely inadequate. It was very small and consisted of a "queen"(?) bed, probably more like a double, which was actually pretty comfortable but small. There was no coffee maker in the room. There was no hair dryer in the room. There was no mirror in the bathroom. There was only 1 night table and the lighting was very bad. One wall was painted very dark which didn't help that aspect any. There was a small envelope which I assume was for a tip for the maid as it said "Thank you" and a woman's name. I paid over $200 for this and will make sure I plan better next time, will not be returning.

The hotel across the street had the same machine, so we assume the owners are nothing more than a large corporation. Room was remodeled recently, but few amenities and poor lighting. Totally overpriced. Would definitely not recommend.

There's a Keurig coffee machine in the foyer but it had run out of coffee and only gave dirty water from left over residue. Stay here in you want inexpensive and no...ZERO...frills.

• Edith (10/5): An affordable and comfortable stay - This was a one-night stay for my family of 4 while traveling from Ontario to NB. The location was easy to find. The check-in process was all done on a machine. Luckily, everything went perfectly fine, but I wonder how you would go about getting assistance if you need it. The room was nice and spacious, nothing fancy and very clean. The bath/shower was very clean and the water got nice and hot. In fact, my son said it was the best shower he had ever had. The parking situation was a little odd as you park diagonally and can't drive around the building so you have to back up all the way down the row to leave. The other side had parallel parking, so I prefered the diagonal option. We saw the most beautiful sunset which was a lovely surprise. The location isn't far from quite a few different fast food restaurants. The only negatives I can think of are that I wish the bathroom had better lighting and the a/c unit in the window woke us up often through the night when it turned on and off. We probably should've checked if there was a continuous option. Overall, we were all happy and satisfied with our stay and would stay there again, especially considering the affordability compared to all other options in the area.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable and quiet - Older property, but very well renovated: comfy mattress, new tub/tiles/sink, no carpet. Our "superior 2-queen room" was quite spacious and equipped with mini fridge. We appreciated the coffee & ice available at the lobby, as well as the pinic table to have breakfast outside.
• Jennifer (6/5): - Extremely basic room with only one bedside table/lamp for a queen room, a pet peeve of mine. Floor not especially clean but bathroom was fine. Cranky « reception » staff seemed annoyed that I had difficulty with the check in machine, which is not very clear. It makes it look like you should have a QR code but I hadn’t received one so I signed in « without registration » even though I had indeed registered.

• Claudette (10/5): Basic clean and comfortable. - It was a little confusing checking in because it was all electronic. Which was a first for me. Another patron helped me navigate the system. Once she showed me it ended up being quit simple and efficient. Location is along the water. Very clean and comfortable. No hairdryer. Very basic room. But clean and comfortable. Will stay there again.

• Sylvie (6/5): - Jaime pas le stationnement, mon char orange est maganer a cause du coin du trottoirs et l'auto que j'avais pas de place a passer de ce que je croyais. Soit changer les stationnement ou au moin mettre un poteau en hauteur pour quon puisse le voir. Jai faite évoluer et ca donne 1000$ que ca va me coûter. Je trouve ca plate ,monoparental célibataire. Tout le reste je trouve correcte.
• Sarah Jane (8/5): - Great quiet location with easy parking and places to sit outside. The staff was friendly, check-in/out was easy and our room was very clean. The bed seemed smaller than a queen and the air conditioning unit was loud. However, we would stay there again!
• André (6/5): Lit confortable, propre sans plus. - L’air climatisée est un petit et bruyant appareil à brancher. Il ne l’était pas à notre arrivée mais, ça quand même rafraîchi rapidement. Le lit était confortable et le tout était propre. Sur les photos, il y a une belle vue mais on n’y voit rien sur place. Les balançoires étaient pas en bon état.

• Matt (8/5): - Le Fraser Motel is a good no frills option for a one night stay. The rooms are basic but clean and suggest they've been recently renovated. No breakfast but the free-use deluxe bean-grinding coffee machine in the lobby area exceeded expectations! Our stay was quiet and uneventful.

• Arnie and Linda (2/5): - Room would be suited for 1 person, not 2. Poor value for cost. Tiny space, tiny bathroom. Small mini fridge door hit side of bed before opening completely, 2 small swinging doors to washroom extremely loud and squeaky. No view. View of river posted not same as on site.
