- AUGUSTINE (6/5): - The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean, I did not like the fact that we were accused of stealing a hair blower at the time of checking out. To our surprise, they later told us that they were sorry and that there was never a hair blower in the room in the first instance. We felt so embarrassed. They later gave us back our $100 dollar deposit.

- Galvez (10/5): Excelente hotel, con desayuno, gimnasio, sauna, sala de juntas, y con muy buena ubicación. - Desayuno y ubicación muy buenos Pagamos una habitación para tres personas, la habitación estuvo muy bien, buen espacio, pero la cama para nuestro hijo estuvo muy deficiente, el tamaño estaba bien ya que era una sola plaza, pero la estructura débil y con los movimientos en la noche se doblaba, además quedo bajo el aire acondicionado que goteaba agua. Esta situación crea incomodidad ya que se paga adicional por la tercera persona y se espera recibir una cama un poco más confortable. Por lo demás muy buena la habitación, además que e recomendado muy bien el hotel a más amigos que planean viajar a Guangzhou.

Кухней ни разу не пользовались. Рядом со зданием Молл Wanda с множеством ресторанов. В отеле есть фитнес, бильярд. На ресепшене всегда есть вкусный чай. Работники говорят на английском. Хороший завтрак. 15 минут пешком до метро. Рядом перекресток и очень шумно, слышно на 20 этаже. Закрытые окна не помогают, берите беруши. Недалеко сносят дом, техника начинает работать с 5 утра.

There is a package delivery box next to the entrance. Bus stop on one side is very close. To take the bus in the opposite direction needs 10 minutes of walk. Nearest metro station is Shang Chong, which is 17-18 minutes of walk.

- Wai Yee Melissa (7/5): Definitely NOT the best Somerset in China. - I’ve stayed at a number of Somersets in my history all over China, but this has to be one of the oldest and something that needs a throw over. Firstly, the service by the security was pretty much gruff and unhelpful. Then there was the confusion caused partially by myself and my booking. I ended up being the one apologising for it and that was weird. The room felt tired and didn’t have the model facilities that other places had. The sink was mouldy. The window was open for some reason and I had to close it myself.

- Chris (5/5): Our stay was just very average; neither warm nor unpleasant, somewhat impersonal. - The breakfast spread was acceptable; nothing exceptionally good nor bad. The accommodation was conveniently located in the vicinity of shopping mall and eateries. Upon arrival at the entrance on the ground level, we were greeted by young guest assistant. Being foreigners, we were not very well versed with the local language and unfortunately the young guest assistant was not conversant in English. It would be very helpful if Somerset could deploy a more experienced guest assistant to guide guest to the reception level since the reception was not located on ground level.

- Gilles (8/5): Hôtel très moderne et très bien géré, mais un peu loin du métro - L'hôtel est très moderne et très élégant, et correspond aux standards occidentaux. La chambre a un bel espace, les matériaux sont de qualité. La literie est très bonne. Le personnel est très professionnel et agréable. De nombreux commerces (centres commerciaux) sont à proximité immédiate. Je ne saisis pas pourquoi beaucoup disent que l'emplacement est idéal. L'hôtel est assez éloigné du métro. Il faut marcher au moins 15 minutes pour trouver une station. Et ce, dans un quartier très excentré de Canton, ce qui nécessite plusieurs stations ensuite pour regagner le centre ancien ou le centre moderne. Comme souvent en Chine, les appartements ne disposent quasiment pas de matériel pour se faire à manger. ça reste une excellente prestation cependant.

- Deribe (10/5): Overall I was happy with my stay - Everything was really good. Happy with everything. I didn’t like the breakfast. Fried eggs were always dry as left open. More of Halal food and English breakfast please. Also lack of English by all the staff was not funny.

- Jan (8/5): Feedback - Breakfast included a few western items instead of all Chinese food. Staff at reception was not friendly, didn't inform about breakfast hours, wifi or check out time, something which all hotels will do. Apartment was a bit dated, a bit disappointing for the brand name Somerset (I had stayed in many apartments under Ascott/Somerset in different countries). Apartment was also not clean, the floor and tables were dirty and I had to clean them myself. The 3 bedroom apartment was actually a combination of a 2 bedroom and a studio, with connecting doors, something which the reception didn't explain upon check in and we thought they gave us the wrong room
