- SAM (3/5): Lovely hotel but a SCAM - FALSE ADVERTISING LOCATION - Whilst the hotel was lovely- I truly feel I was scammed due to the location. The hotel advertises itself as nearby Macao, whilst geographically it is - the hotel completely fails to mention the hotel is actually on the other side of the chinese border, meaning every single time you leave the hotel you have to go through immigration security and passport control. They messaged me 24 hours before arrival (AFTER FREE CANCELLATION HAD PAST) to let me know the hotel was in China, not Macao. I feel betrayed and scammed and very disappointed. Whilst the hotel is very nice - it is completely misleading and false advertising and I would have cancelled with free cancellation for a full refund if they were honest

- Theodoros (9/5): Great place to stay but a bit overpriced, I assume because of the IronMan race - The rooms was good and clean, view also nice, breakfast has natural orange juice, staff was very helpful and friendly. Toiletries were good and body wash and body lotion smelled really nice. There was no cheese in the breakfast and some of the dishes were slightly cold. WIFI a bit slow at times and the last day the room was not cleaned, we were out of body lotion as well.

- federica (10/5): - Mi è piaciuta molto la pulizia e anche la posizione, io ero a Zhuhai per visitare Macao e per chi non conosce il posto potrebbe sembrare strano prenotare un'albergo al di là del confine con la Cina ma visto il risparmi vale la pena fare dogana ogni giorno .Noi siamo arrivati all'aeroporto di Macao e purtroppo il taxista non ci ha portati nel posto, ci ha lasciati alla dogana sbagliata e abbiamo dovuto prendere un secondo taxi cinese quindi abbiamo impiegato molto tempo Consiglio quindi dall'aeroporto di prendere la metropolitana leggera, c'è un treno che ti porta proprio sul confine, questa dogana è molto meno utilizzata e non si fanno troppe code poi si raggiunge l'hotel a piedi ,sono pochi metri

The view of the room was great and the overall condition was considered good except there was a brown seed-like thing found on the corner of the mattress. This led to a doubt in the overall cleanliness of the room.

It's very upset that they need the guest privacy for a standard service! All working people in the hotel never would show a smile to the guests, which I am experienced all the time.

- Lisa (9/5): Very nice hotel but not located in Macau - First, the hotel looks exactly like in the pictures! Nicely decorated and furnished as well. Big panoramic window in the room with sun shade and curtain that can be controlled via a switch. Friendly and quick staff, was always there to help. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The buffet left nothing to be desired and went from freshly made soup with all kinds of toppings to more western things like toast, cornflakes, pastries, warm sides, freshly made eggs in all kinds of variations, fruit and vegetables, coffee, tea and a variety of fresh juices. You could argue about the bathroom because the sink is actually in the living room and the bathroom with the shower and toilet is in a seperate room. Also, as other people before already pointed out, there is only one door for either the whole bathroom or the shower. But in my opinion it's not that big of a deal, you can just close the door to the whole bathroom and try to shower a little closer to the wall so the floor infront of the toilet doesn't get all wet. The sink being outside was also not that bad bc my friend and I could get ready at the same time with neither of us blocking the whole bathroom. Also the location of the hotel was really convenient, it was right outside Hengqin port which forms a direct connection to Macau and the LRT lines. But there is one thing you need to be aware of.. (see negative points) The hotel is NOT LOCATED IN MACAU which is a cruical information that is in my opinion not stated clearly enough here or on the website. We didn't know until one day before our arrival, that the hotel is not in Macau but on mainland China (Zhuhai). So everytime we wanted to go to Macau in the morning and come back in the evening we had to do the whole immigration process all over again via Hengqin port. You also have to check visa regulations for entering China from your country here. Fortunately we didn't need a visa but we were worried that the immigration officers would become suspicious of us because we would come and go everyday, sometimes two times a day...in the end everything went well but I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel if you originally wanted to visit Macau only. Also you can not open the windows in your room because they are locked so the only thing you have for "fresh air" is the air con. The wifi was really slow. To my surprise messages on Snapchat for some reason worked perfectly fine and fast but WhatsApp messages would only go through every 10-20 minutes, pictures wouldn't send at all. Other Apps like Maps, Google Search and Instagram wouldn't work at all. Chrome worked partly with their inhouse chinese browser Sogou. I would recommend getting an e-sim for asia, that was what worked for us so we could use the apps mentioned above without problems. All in all the hotel is really nice and definitely worth the price but not worth the hassle of immigration process two or more times a day if you actually want to visit only Macau and not necessarily mainland China.

- Tay (10/5): - Very convenient location as it is just located next to the Zhuhai-Macau customs. Great hotel to stay if you're intending to visit Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, but the hotel is quite a distance from the other Zhuhai attractions (e.g. Zhuhai Port Shopping Plaza, Zhuhai Fisher Girl, etc) Hotel entrance is located to the right of the main exit of Hengqin Port Shopping Mall, but can be hard to find initially as it is not prominent. Breakfast at TownSquare cafe (level 5) is above average, but the food does get a little repetitive as it's quite similar everyday with only slight variation. Service from hotel staff is top notch, and helpful

- Ac (10/5): Fantastic hotel, fantastic location - This place was beyond our expectations. We booked this place after 2 days at chimelong penguin hotel. The proximity to the hotels were only 10mins. We loved the location of the hotel to the henqin port. This stay was super convenient to access the hotels and entertainment on cotai strip ( 25mins door to door from hotel to studio city). Free shuttle buses accessed all the hotels. The port is quiet and modern, many shops still in the process of opening. Hotel itself was amazing. It was new, modern and very roomy. We had the twin bed with sofa bed and that was more than enough for our family of 4. The sofa bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The facilities were great too- free commercial level washer and dryer, gym,pool table and dining options. There was a pool too but it was still under construction. Although the bathroom was big, the layout was unusual. the sink was located in the hallway and one door shared the shower and toilet. If you were showering, there was no door to use.

- David (10/5): Friendly, helpful staff - The staff was friendly and helpful. Best example is I was having issues with my phone. At 1AM I go downstairs and knowledgeable IT employee spends about an hour trying in vain to get around my not having VPN. He explained what functions would work and not work which is what I needed. I then asked him about an ATM location and another issue regarding crossing 10 lane road near hotel. At 2AM he WALKED me to the ATM.then walked me to underpass and explained how to exit other side. He was great and the rest of staff matched. The buffet breakfast was awesome. No dislikes.
