- William (6/5): Clean and comfortable. Bit of a faff with the visa, shuttle etc. - Clean, comfortable. Shuttle worked once located. Was OK for a shower and rest between flights (we had 8hr layover). Any shorter than this and I would probably opt for a lounge instead. Need to get a 24hr transit visa to get to this property - bear this in mind. We were lucky and arrived at 5am so there was no queue. If you had to queue a few hours I'm not sure it would be worth it. The shuttles only came hourly. We just missed the shuttle at 5:13am, so had to wait an hour until the next one, despite calling the hotel. We couldn't get a cab because no ATMs in the airport and our cards wouldn't work - maybe take out yen before hand. In the future, I would probably opt for a hotel closer to the terminal that I could walk to. Obviously no internet in china, unable to call the hotel etc. Found airport staff that helped us do this. Need proof of hotel stay for the visa, so make sure that's loaded before you land as won't have internet there.

However, there was an error between Expedia and the hotel where they thought our party of 5 was due the day before. Just as well we had emails with evidence, and there were rooms available. Also there needs to be more knowledge around where to catch the shuttle bus and times for it. Not everyone has a local phone to call the hotel when you arrive in Guangzhou. A lot of time was wasted on this.

The next morning we needed hotel close to the airport – I booked two rooms for $145 Australian – that is absolutely fantastic value. Especially since the hotel was beautifully appointed, clean, had efficient staff, a free airport shuttle, and all the service you expect from a five star hotel. Extremely highly recommended for those who want to stay near the airport in Guangzhou.
- Rika (8/5): サービスとスタッフがよい - 空港から近く、シャトルバスがあるこちらを選びました。夜間を除けば1時間に一本バスがあるのは、中国元を持たないわたしにはとてもありがたかったです。スタッフはフロント、レストラン共に感じが良く、朝ごはんも美味しかったです。 施設はコンパクトですが、お部屋は十分な広さがあり、また綺麗に清掃されていました。 一点だけ重大な難点があります。 禁煙フロア、禁煙ルームなのに、めちゃくちゃタバコくさい……… 禁煙フロアなので前に喫煙ルームとして使っていたわけはないだろうと不思議だったのですが、なんとエレベーターホールで喫煙できるみたいで、吸い殻がありました。 当方喫煙者なので禁煙者より匂いには寛容なほうですが、それでもかなり気になりました。 禁煙者の方の宿泊は避けたほうが良いかもしれません。 ただ、繰り返しますが、それ以外はとってもよいです。 周辺は少ないながらも美味しそうな屋台やレストランもありました。
