- Rawan (5/5): Good stay - The place was like home . The staff where helpful even though they don’t understand English but they try there best with you to help you ! The rooms were nice I liked the robot and the laundry room the most ! The house keeping was not clean ! They do all the cleaning but they don’t remove any thing from the table or the floor like a paper or a sweet or empty Pepsi can or the tag of the new shirts they will keep it as it is !

- Shane (9/5): Modern hotel, nice rooms, quiet location. - Spacious and clean room, good sound proofing so did not hear the traffic despite being next to the highway. Simple hotel with small gym and laundry self service FOC (even detergent within the machine). Cigarette smells from toilet vents and took a little longer to go places as it is on the side of the river opposite to where Tianzifang, anfu road etc are.

- Tamara Mary Goreraza (8/5): I don’t have much to say just to say thank you for my stay in your hotel a few house keeping needs - The location is hidden but okay the staff were good although it was difficult to communicate they tried to their best The food didn’t give me an option as I’m not used of the food may they can include international foods as well, the dinning does offer dinner it’s difficult to come from a working day and there is no food I had to go out of the hotel to look for food and there rooms are beautiful the problem they are not strict on smokers my whole stay I was affected with a neighbor smoking it really affected me I reported to the staff but with no help

- Prisca (8/5): Je reviendrai - Le personnel disponible et qui nous met à l’aise, l’emplacement, le confort, l’utilisation gratuite des machines à laver le linge. Le mini bar des chambres remplis quotidiennement. Je ne peux pas dire que je n’ai pas aimé, mais le petit déjeuner après 9h est moins fournis alors que l’on a payé pour avoir la même chose que les premiers venus. Les plats comme les légumes et les nouilles ou riz sautés sont froids c’est dommage. Il faudra lessiver les murs dans certaines chambres. J’étais dans la 5008, les murs en dessous de la tv sont sales. Il faut faire le joint du sol entre la salle de bain et le couloir. Compte tenu du renom de Hyatt, c’est vrai que l’on en attend beaucoup. Au delà de ça, je reviendrai dans cet hôtel. Je pense que ce sont des détails qui peuvent être corrigés.

- Matthew (6/5): - The property was well presented, with a spacious room and a comfortable bed. However, the experience was undermined by a few disappointing factors. The bathroom showed signs of neglect, with mould and loose sealant—an issue that should be an easy fix. Additionally, despite staying on a non-smoking floor, the smell of smoke permeated our air conditioning overnight, lingered in the bathroom, and was noticeable in the main corridor for several days, suggesting that no action was taken to prevent smoking in the building. Service at breakfast was also underwhelming; upon arrival, we were ignored by the employee at the door, who seemed more focused on handling an invoice for a parcel than welcoming guests. Overall, while the hotel met basic requirements for a stay and was satisfactory, it did not reflect the high standards expected from a Hyatt-branded property. Hence, the three-star rating.

- Josh (3/5): Noisy neighbours despite "soundproofing" & constant cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room - If you want a non-smoking room, this is not the hotel for you. Despite being on a non-smoking floor, there were people surrounding our room smoking, and cigarette smoke came into our room through exhaust fans that were evidently shared with adjoining rooms. This is a health hazard for anyone with asthma or other breathing difficulties. There was breakfast provided in our booking - paid for ahead of time. The breakfast was fine, not bad, not good, just fine. The service was entirely terrible. I was accused of not having paid for the breakfast (documented ahead of time). Once this was proven and clarified with the confused staff member, no apology was offered afterwards. Comically bad service. It is very surprising that the Hyatt allows it's name to be used like this. But here we are. I highly recommend staying at any other hotel.

- Karla (10/5): Excellent! - Hotel is very comfortable and modern. Breakfast is very good, with lots of options of Chinese (so people can try it out) and general things (eg fruits, cakes, eggs, etc). They have a robot to delivery room service :) If I come back, I would defo stay there again! And I highly recommend it for couples, family or anyone travelling alone.

I truly enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

- Chong (9/5): A hotel that has a nice setting. - Nice settings, audio video room has a separate video room that helps you enjoy late shows viewing without disturbing your sleeping partners. Free laundry self service and breakfast. Location and no shelter at entrance which is an inconvenience during raining season.

- Somji (10/5): It was excellent. I will definitely recommend anyone visiting Shanghai. - Excellent breakfast, welcoming and smiling staff. Was assisted with taxi booking, food ordering and wherever language was a barrier for me. Welcome was very nice where our luggage were kept well at one side and delivered to our rooms. However, during check out there was no help and taxi had arrived and we were in and out of lobby bringing out our luggage's to load in the taxi.

I would recommend to make the payment with a VISA card since I had issues with my Mastercard. Everything was perfect. Communicating with the staff was a bit complicated, but the translator was very handy!

It greeting was warm & welcome. Laundry provided indeed was useful and FOC that gave added value to our stay. The robot a bit dirty especially the container which it carries things. It needs a bath clean too, right?

I think there are a few small things which could be improved to make it an even better experience. For example the sofas in the breakfast area may need a cleaning.
