- Tim (8/5): - Previous guest may have smoked in the room. Think they tried air freshener but it didn't work too well. Other than that, all good.

- Carol (6/5): - Not enough hot water for two showers and having to use the same towel over again!
- Elaine (10/5): - It was what we expected. Bathroom door was quite narrow. My hubby's walker was difficult to get into the bathroom. The bathtub was slippery.
- Gillian (9/5): -
- Nancy (8/5): - Room was nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Very clean. Watched a Netflix movie which was appreciated.
Did not like the big trash container so close to our room. I think we may have been the only guest and it seems we could have been placed in a room away from the trash! It smelled when we were outside.
- Mandy (10/5): - It’s a cute motel with spacious rooms and very quiet when I was there.
- Sean (10/5): - Trail inn is great

- Carol (8/5): Good place to stay in Melita - Room clean, had microwave, fridge and coffee maker.
Bed was comfortable
It had an efficient checkin, you got a code by text and went to lobby and entered code and key delivered.
There is no staff on site but you could text if had issues which we did not. Nothing
- Todd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (10/5): Clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay. - Rooms very clean and place was quiet. Beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. Water took awhile to get warm
- Robert (4/5): - Had to attached water hose on the toilet, bed was comfortable and room was clean
- Andrew (8/5): Good affordable option - A very nice affordable option. Easy to use system and rooms are very recently renovated and well cleaned. Newer option in a small town. I would stay here again and recommend.
- Leslie (10/5): - We came for a hockey tournament and the rooms were excellent. Check in was automated and so easy.
- Goethals (7/5): I live off grid so it was just nice to sleep in a bed for a few nights. - Near the chicken chef & cannabis store. Small, cobwebs everywhere.
- Patrick (8/5): - We stay here annually to go deer hunting

- Doretta (10/5): - Wonderful! Beautiful room, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Coffee maker, micro, fridge, tv. Small table and chairs. Highly recommend.
- Carrie (9/5): Superb - The price point was good. We arrived late/early AM and we received a text message telling us how to retrieve our key, our room number and where to leave the key the following morning.
- Murray (10/5): Great place - Good location, quiet, very clean,an independently run Cafe on-site for breakfast and lunch very good food with homemade bread and cinnamon buns to die for A bit of a mix up our reservation was shown for the previous day but the contact person fixed it right away a bit confusing to get the room key as inside the reception building you use your cell phone to the contact person that relays information to a screen for you to accept the key and a door pops open and you have your key.i didn't take glasses and my cell phone died and I said bad words my bad.
- Linda (10/5): - Very friendly
- Cindy (8/5): - The cleaning person Jen was helpful when we had an issue with our tv. Room was very nice but metal chairs to sit on were cold. Service with head office was Horrible. We had a gentleman enter our room at 2.30 am using a key. Were told it couldnt happen !. Only 1Key to a room and the masterkey. Surprise the next day I am offered an extra key to our room. There Only solution was for us to leave if we liked. No problem solving customer service here.
- Praiseson (10/5): - Love the view and cleanliness of the suite... Super
- Kristina (8/5): - Cute little cabins. Clean and cozy. I only wished there were closets or drawers.
- Beverley (10/5): - No plug in tub. Get the old rubber plug for peanuts!
- Karen (10/5): Trail Inn - This is a great small town motel. It is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is home cooked and delicious.
- Darlene (10/5): - Great small but clean
- Randy (8/5): - Only thing that would help would be a little map of the site in the room showing where the eating area was.
- Bonnie (10/5): Birding motel. - My stay was just fine. The motel works well for travelling birders. We are up early and out late.
- Lee (7/5): Good -
- Gregory (10/5): - My room was very clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have the cafe open at 6:00 am.
- marvin (6/5): - No screens and windows. Air conditioner had not been functioning for what appeared to be a long time
- Jacqueline A (10/5): - We stayed in the recently renovated units. Super cute, clean and modern. Kinda small but totally fine for a couple for one night. Easy check in. Will stay here again
- Gordon (10/5): - clean and comfy
- Chelsea (10/5): Great Place! - The hotel was really neat as there is no reception desk- you simply get a code and enter it into the pad and a box opens with the key… we did have an issue for all three of our rooms upon arrival because the internet was down, so we couldn’t get the keys. Oh well. Someone soon came and helped.
The beds were the most comfortable beds in a hotel I have ever stayed in.
Highly recommend this place!
- Natasha (8/5): - Great location when you need to stay rural in southern Manitoba…prepare for a fast shower, if you’re a woman there is not a chance you can wash your hair and body unless you turn the tap off due to the small tanks serving each unit.
- Kathy (8/5): - Easy check in procedure. Large room with very comfortable beds in a quiet area. We would not hesitate staying at The Trail Inn next time we’re in Melita.
- Dan (9/5): Superb -
- Debra (8/5): Very good -
- Sean (6/5): - I stayed in several different rooms and all of them the floors weren’t vacuumed. They also need to shovel the decks/steps off and clean the snow from their parking lot much quicker.
- Darrick (10/5): - Nice and clean. Exactly what I needed for my business stay.
Only negative would be that the older style bed frame makes noise every time you roll over which woke me up a few times in the night.
- Gordon (10/5): - Good rest spot very clean
- Andrew (10/5): - Nice small town motel. Check-in / out was easy with an automatic key box. Room was on the smaller side but had everything that was needed, beds were super comfy.
- robert (10/5): - Nice clean hotel.
- Anabel (6/5): - it was little pricy in a tiny room
- phil (10/5): - Very reasonable and very clean room

- Jacob (9/5): A qween bed would have been preferred! - Quiet neighbours
- Robert (6/5): it was very pleasant - very nice decor and excellent check in method better access for grass for my dog
- Tara (10/5): - Very easy check in process with the key dispenser. My stay was on a very hot night and the room was ice cold so appreciative of that! Water was hot in the shower with good pressure. Bed was comfy and the room was quiet…I had a great sleep!
- Lutos (10/5): Good stay in Melita - The place has been renovated and the person coordinating it over the phone was very friendly. The only challenge I have is not having someone to pay directly in person but it worked out anyway.
- Lorraine (10/5): - The property is a nicely renovated old motel, with modern furnishings, decor and technology.
- Verified traveler (6/5): So disappointing! - Dirty and wrinkled sheet, stained carpet and dirty bathroom! AC was so loud even we put it in sleep mode. TV didn't work and the whole home have 0 table (other than 1 small night table). The bed was over soft and its so used that it was not even flat anymore. Worst hotel I've ever stayed!
Wish i could uplaod picutres, but "add picture" bottom doesnt seem to be working.
- Robert (8/5): - New way of checking in
- Vladimir (10/5): - Clean and cozy
- Steve (7/5): Pleasant for a rest - Not applicable
