Guest Reviews
- Helmut (10/5): - As described - nice, clean and convinient
- Ghislain (6/5): - Very well located. Very basic condo. Too small for 4 people. The shower is terrible… like a 3 stars in Cuba.
- Christian (6/5): - Reservation was made using 5 people as number of guests and was only provided 4 towels. Picking up the key at another location in a lock box and trying to figure out where to enter for the parking garage was not clear nor convenient.
- Michelle (8/5): - Great location. Close to transit, Roger’s Center, grocery store. We had a fabulous view of the water. The suite was clean. Check in and out was seamless. Our only feedback is the water pressure in the shower was weak and the line ups and waits for the elevator were sometimes long.
- Mouslim (10/5): - It’s conveniently located in the heart of downtown.
- Thuan (6/5): - .
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - Great location. Walking distance to all key attractions. Grocery store close. Hunters Landing restaurant next door had good food. The condo unit very basic inside but nears repairs. Dryer would not dry, frig smelled, flat bed pillows and blinds about to fall. Suggest they put money into updates then it’s perfect.
- June (4/5): - Parking was not well marked
Bathroom floor dirty
Behind bathroom door extremely dirty
Iron does not work
No soap or shampoo
Towels all worn out
Fridge stinks and out of order
Would have been nice to have coffee in the morning
- Kirsty (10/5): - Had a fantastic 13 nights stay. Location could not have been better. Was a 10 min walk from CN tower and we were surrounded by shops restaurants anything you wanted basically was on your doorstep. Apartment had everything we needed. Does say toiletries were included, they were very minimal so it was just as well we brought our own. Pillows could be doing with being renewed but beds were comfy and my son even enjoyed sleeping on the sofa bed.
- Serg (10/5): Trade show - Pleasantly surprise!
- Colin (10/5): - An amazing place and area. Could not say enough good things. Only concern is there is a lot of visible damage in the condo, get some things cleaned up and it’s perfect
- Mary (10/5): Great Location! - Very nice building, lots of restaurants and very comfortable
- William (6/5): Disappointed at best - The condo was exactly what we needed for our stay however when we contacted the renters for assistance they said they would be over to help and they never did come
We asked multiple times for help by text and email but never got what we needed
The condo was in poor condition, surfaced cleaned but overall quit unkept
The condo didn’t match the picture
- Mary (8/5): Great other than key pickup and drop off - Place was great and centrally located. Check in and check out process required us to get and drop off keys at a convenience store. Was stressful wondering if we would arrive before store closed to get keys bc our flight was delayed. Also we needed to wait for the store to open before we could leave for the airport and we would have liked to leave earlier than we did. Other than that it was great
- Theresa (10/5): - Great location! Clean condo and super helpful property manager when we had questions.
- Michela (6/5): - No front desk .Didn’t have the wifi code.
- Diana (8/5): - Convenient location.
- Sharon (6/5): - We were quite looking forward to staying here, that changed after we got into the suite…the carpeting in the bedroom was filthy, could not walk in sock or barefoot but the carpet was horrific…..could not work the dishwasher could not get the door to lock and it was falling out of cupboard when opening the door, no towel bar in the bathroom, the sofa could use some covers to hide the dirt
The owner needs some serious cleaning and updating
- diana (10/5): - Great condo with balcony, very clean building with security.. Great location
- Mark (4/5): - The place is tired. There are stains in the carpet and couch. The pillows are pretty bad, mattress is lumpy and the furniture is all as cheap as can be. The place needs to be updated. It barely meets OK.
- Samantha (10/5): - The condo wasn't ready when we first arrived but the owner was happy to let us leave our bags inside while they finished readying it for us. Everything was clean and tidy and the check in and out instructions were very clear. The location is close to everything we wanted and we all had a wonderful time. Recommended for sure
- Nicole (6/5): - Great location if you want to stay downtown Toronto. The whole experience felt like this was someone subletting their apartment as a rental. Lots of instructions to get the keys from the room in order to park. Felt very amateur. Blinds were in bad shape, cupboards and doors falling apart. Just stay in a hotel.
- Navindra (4/5): - Property needs to be updated. Needs a fresh repaint (45$ for a gal of paint). Light blubs are out. Bathroom door needs to be replace due to water damage. Refrigerator needs to be replace as a mini fridge isn't cutting it for a family. Ceiling damages/ water leak needs to be fix. Dryer does not dry clothes well and takes forever/full of lint. 2 days of no hot water with young kids.
- Antonio (10/5): Dr. Antonio Lubin - Nice place to stay for doing business in toronto.
- Robert (8/5): - Location is excellent. Close to main attractions. Elevators are terrible and parking was complicated with large suv. Better instructions for navigating to specific spot would've been helpful
- Chris (10/5): - Fantastic location - ideal for our family to explore Toronto. Self check in instructions were easy to follow. The apartment was small but had everything we needed.
- Philippe (6/5): - Location is great, walking distance from CN tower.
One bedroom door was broken and could not close. Cheap pillows and towels.
- James (10/5): - We had a great time. Easy check in. Nice neighborhood that was walking distance from Roger Field, CN Tower, and other spots. Bunch of shops including a grocery around the corner. We'll be back.
- Seema (6/5): - Convenient location to Union station, Scotia Bank arena, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium and Rogers Centre.
Very nice grocery store Longo's s nearby.
Condo is very close to express way so need earplugs at night.
- Arin (10/5): - The location is amazing, close to everything and TCT within walking distance. The check-in & check-out instructions were super clear & easy to follow. The beds were very comfortable and the AC was definitely needed!
The condo could use a good deep clean and the furniture is very outdated. The couch wasn’t very comfortable. The dining table chairs as well. The coffee table is loud & clunky. The patio furniture is in rough shape. There wasn’t a plug in the bathroom for the bath. The dishes were still wet in the cupboard which grossed me out.
It wouldn’t take much to make this place 5 star!
- Margo (8/5): - The condo is in a luxury high with a view of the CN Tower and Rogers Arena from the window. Two very important things worth mentioning that I was not aware of before booking. 1) this is a short term rental by a 3rd party not a timeshare or extended stay hotel 2) the management has different rules for short term renters ex. No use of pool, spa and any other amenities. Be sure to confirm check in and.checkout times and furniture upgrades will be necessary soon. Fantastic location, close to all of the sporting venues, food harborfront waterfront, public transportation and within 30 to 40 minute walk to Chinatown and the ROM. Parking was included. I did not use it thus I cannot make any comment about the garage.
I would stay here again but I would have liked to have known the above information about the property before my booking.
- Christian (8/5): Great location easy access, near the waterfront - Great location. I really appreciated the flexibility for my departure after the Toronto marathon. Easy to get in. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is the quality of the furniture and of the floor. Lots of minor damages. With better quality I will definitely rate 5 stars.
- Sandy (8/5): - Great location!! The condo itself was a little worn. No tub or kitchen sink plugs. If you don’t like a firm bed not a great stay for you. We were there for jays games so location was ideal. Would I stay at this particular condo again, probably not.
- Jesus Javier (10/5): - Clean and good smells, host was accomodating for my check in and checkout times
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst experience ever - The location was wrong. The stove didn’t turn on. We had NO WATER!
Awful. I want my money back.
- Ron (8/5): Location Location Location! - Nice apartment, walking distance to CN tower, union station, Leafs etc. Fully equipped kitchen (no food stocked). Grocery and Tim's next door. Great view of the city. Could use a few more pillows and towels, but overall good.
- Shawn (10/5): - Location and condo were excellent. Very clean and spacious. Over all we had a good stay. A few things to keep in mind for this location. We stayed at 21 Iceboat Terrace - room 4601, which was not the address we thought we booked. However, not a big deal. Over all, the stay was great. The things we wish we knew before hand - the train station at the ground level produces sound all the way up to the 46th floor and so much so, it sounds like you're on the ground floor. The way the building is designed (on the side we stayed on) produced ground level sounds all day and night (trains, sirens and some sort of bell). the room is furnished but, you need to bring any and everything else (coffee, decent sized bath towels, etc). Other than the noise, we would get this condo again. FYI, the pictures on the website are not necessarily the actual pictures of the room you will be in.
- Hafeez (6/5): - The room was quite nice except for the bath - which DID NOT drain properly and we could not use it. I wrote the owner and complained and he was sympathetic but we did not get any redress for not being able to use the bathroom facility.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Great property, the checkin and check out process is a little more work than expected, but the location and the suite was beautiful.
- Sean (10/5): - Great place for the cost. Lots of room for the short stay. Not to far from the Scotiabank Arena for some Mapleleafs action!
- Aleana (6/5): - Toilet facility was not working. Host said check in would be 5:00pm and had us waiting until 5:30 to check in. Host did not use his discretion considering we even checked out one night earlier to reimburse us anything.
- Diya (10/5): - Amazing
- Arjan (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable. . Good good
- Mark (8/5): - Great place. Lots of space.
- Florence (10/5): - This is in a good location and is very clean, spacious and comfortable, I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting.
- Chris (10/5): - We had a great stay and will definitely be back again.
- Treena (10/5): - The perfect downtown location! Minutes walking distance to CN Tower, Ripleys Aquarium, Rogers Center and Scotiabank Arena. Great view of the Lake and Toronto Island. Secure building with 24 hour security onsite. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again
- Vickie (10/5): - Great location
- Kassandra (2/5): - We booked this based on the location listed, and had planned our trip based on this address. Only to find out a day before after requesting the check in process that it was on the opposite end of where we wanted to be. I did message the owner who confirmed that the photos I saw in the listing including the view was the condo I booked. However we arrived and it was not, and we mentioned this as soon as we arrived and the owner said it was what we booked and if we’re not satisfied we could be refunded. But we were already there and didn’t want to have to move again. Another thing about check in, is you should be warned the parking garage is very confusing and could use more instructions. The condo itself was ok, it didn’t look the cleanest and there was a missing towel rack. The second bedroom is also not an actual bedroom it doesn’t have windows or a closet. Lastly we were given check out instructions that were inaccurate causing us to go up and down multiple times. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend booking this location.
- Lan (8/5): - This property has two bedrooms, the space is decent for a family stay.
Some slides are missing on the curtain in the bedroom, no privacy in the head rest area. Also there is no night stand which is not convenient.
Note this property is not at the address that was shown on the booking web site. We were sent to another address which is close to YTZ airport and CN tower. It's ok to us, but would like to point it out.
- Daniel (8/5): - Nice to have the extra space and beds for similar price to a hotel.
- James Kenneth (6/5): - It was nice and close to the airport which was great. We could walk there. We walked to the Roger’s centre. The unit was clean and did what we needed. Only complaint was that the one bedroom is an illegal bedroom. It needed two means of egress and only had one. I wish the couch was a pull out double bed instead of a twin. We were happy with the price and location. We would probably stay in the building again but try another room if possible.
- Brad (4/5): - Booked 14 York Street for a 3 bed condo for my family to be close to travelling family. Ended up in a condo 20 mins away with 2 beds and a couch. Ruined all our plans since now we have an extra 40 mins of walking to get where we booked. Area is very noisy and there is always poo on the sidewalk. Missing blinds means we are always visible in every room. Chairs on patio are broken. No extra toilet paper. Some lights are not functioning. We paid almost $1400 for 2 nights and we are so upset and ripped off. Be warned when booking. Things are not what they advertise.
- Jonathan (6/5): - The AC did not work
- Wayne (8/5): - Family vacation to TO. Arrival instructions very detailed and spot on. when we got into condo, disappointed with cleanliness. we had to rewash sheets due to hairs on both beds and had to dust. Location of condo was excellent for waterfront and easy access anywhere with city transportation. AC did not work for 2 nights (building issue). bedrooms tight, closets but no drawers / dressers to unpack clothes.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Like the location and was very accessible for someone that uses a mobility scooter
- Randell (10/5): - This is a great walkable location. We came for the Beyoncé concert and it was only an 8 minute walk to the venue. Nice, clean safe place.
- Courtney (6/5): - One major complaint is we booked the property because of how close it was to the Scotia Bank Arena on the site it said 14 York street; only found out two days before we left it was located 25 minutes away if we had know this we would of never booked!
Internet was spotty; plus our daughter found a vape in her bed which makes us wonder the cleanliness of the condo. We wouldn’t book here again.
