The rain shower head! Plus they had a steamer, which was great. Loved the deal with the Y around the corner, very nice. The rooftop restaurant was lovely and the lobby restaurant looked inviting. I didn't think the entrance was very attractive. I know it's a tight space, but seems like it could be improved.

- CayoteLondon (10/5): Vancouver in style - I have high expectations when it comes to hotels (ask my wife) and I am glad to say they were all exceeded during our 6 night stay at the Azur. It is a member of Leading Hotels of the World, and fittingly so. It is in a recently refitted office building in the financial district, an ideal location. The owners have done a great job with a high quality, modern fit-out, maintaining the ambience of a boutique hotel even with 100 rooms. Our Jade King suite was ideal for ourselves and our 10 year old son, spacious with separated sleeping areas. It was very well-appointed, with good TVs, but it would have been nice to have some tea-making facilities alongside the Nespresso machine - not everyone is a coffee drinker. The only downside was a lack of aspect, as the room looked looks onto a side street, but that makes it quiet and it doesn’t matter when you are in such a beautiful room. The staff were all great, particularly Daniel who enthusiastically helped us book our excursions. Last but certainly not least, there is a stylish roof terrace restaurant, also with lovely staff, which is great for a pre-prandial cocktail or dinner.

- chazislandboy (8/5): Friendly Staff, and a wonderful stay at AZUR - It was a little difficult to find the valet area for the AZUR hotel, as it was in a narrow alley way between the main streets. I was greeted by Tristan and he was very helpful and provided excellent service. Once I got to the front desk counter Akash quickly checked me in and also provided great service. He went over details that help to insure a great stay. Much mahalo to Akash and Tristan! CS

- 645asherv (4/5): Underwhelming and misleading - This place was just full of surprises 🙄. First of all we made it to the place and I didn’t locate any helpful tips for pulling up to the valet in any of my emails. So when I arrived on the block I was very confused and then finally after struggling to find my bearings I found the tiny “Valet Parking” sign that is very inconspicuously placed on the curb. But we made it and then got up to our room just fine. The receptionist were very nice and pleasant people. I had the opportunity to request an early checkout the only issue was that it wasn’t too well communicated when we could request it and ended up having to ask the front desk twice. The Elevator there is super weird to operate- defintely not the smoothest. And although our concierge was helpful for any questions I had, he didn’t exactly make it clear that I had to use the keycard to operate the elevator effectively. Drinks at the rooftop bar are crazy expensive don’t waste time eating or drinking at the hotel. There were various things that were misleading at this hotel. 1. The hotel is advertised to have a “pool” and a “gym” when in actuality they can permit guests access to a gym and pool in a building across the street and guests have to request a slip in order to get free access at said gym on the day they wish to go 2. The TV in the room advertises “2 free drinks per room” for all those who leave a review on Travel.com or Google Reviews and that you just need to show it to the person at the front desk. What they don’t tell you is that the review must be a 5 star review (which seems super manipulative) and then you don’t get to choose the drinks you get from the rooftop bar but instead you only have the choice between the house red or white wine and beer. Pretty underwhelming 3. Otherwise the whole experience was so back and forth It took 20mins to get Ice delivered to my room

- lilyf629 (10/5): The Perfect Place for a Special Surprise Stay - If you’re looking for the perfect place to create a special memory for someone you love with cute amenities, Azur Hotel is the place to stay. My boyfriend and I had such an amazing experience from start to finish every detail was thought through. Alexander made planning everything so easy. I emailed prior to my stay, wanting to do something extra special for my boyfriend, and he helped arrange the amenities the hotel offers and more and even offered to organize balloons for him too. Communication was seamless, from coordinating timing to helping with a room upgrade, and he made sure the entire Azur team knew about our stay and the plans I had arranged so nothing was missed or unorganized. The hospitality truly stood out to us. Every staff member was so welcoming, always greeting us warmly and making us feel taken care of us by offering waters, opening the doors and making sure we weren’t waiting long for our car. It’s easy to see why such a new hotel has already become one of the top 10 five-star stays in Vancouver. Thank you to Alexander and the entire Azur team. We can’t wait to come back.

Check-in was very confusing at least looking for the valet parking location, but once that was figured out everything was pretty smooth from there. Got a room upgrade so that was great (AMEX platinum card for the winnnn wuh-wuh!) P.S. Kyle at the rooftop bar is a great conversationalist and great bar tender. He recommended us this really good restaurant called the Kozak. That man deserves a raise.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience feel special. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with very comfortable beds. I also loved the facilities, especially the restaurant and relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a memorable experience.

- 14raniah (10/5): A refined experience meters from the waters - An elegant boutique hotel just few meters away from the harbor. I was delighted walking to the convention center every morning . The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Madu the concierge provided us with ingenious venues and restaurants (thank you Madu !!) . The room is very clean , elegant and the bed is just perfect, the value matches what the stay offered . I would definitely come back.

It was my first visit to Vancouver and the concierge was very knowledgeable about the city and made getting around for me quite easy. Also helped with booking a city tour. The hotel is both luxurious and homely, right in the middle of downtown Vancouver!

- jenniferwK492UF (10/5): A beautiful and luxurious hotel with an exceptional staff - The hotel was beautiful and luxurious, and the rooms had all the amenities you could need. The location near the waterfront made for a perfect spot to explore and go on walks along the seawall. Everything about my stay was exceptional, but I would like to call out the staff for going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and cared for during my stay. One evening, a friend and I were chatting in the lobby, and the reception staff noticed we were lingering for quite a while. They brought over hot chocolates and waters without us even asking, making our evening more comfortable and memorable. These little touches made the experience of staying at the Azur truly delightful, and I will definitely return whenever I am in Vancouver.

- Kerrie (10/5): Great Hotel, Great Location - Friendly and helpful staff. Room was a good size and spotlessly clean with lovely L'Occitane products in the bathroom. Great location, walked to most places of interest and bus stop just around the corner for getting to Granville Island and Capilano Bridge. Needed a physical credit card for check out which we were not told in advance but luckily we had one with us
- Holly (10/5): Luxurious, clean, and extremely kind staff. - Gorgeous boutique hotel. Perfect location. Close to the Hullo ferry and close to shopping, restaurants, etc.. The rooms are very luxurious. I have stayed in many high end hotels and this is the only hotel that all of the staff is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful.

The chrome cast in our room wouldn't work so they upgraded us to an even better suite. Wonderful experience, will come back every time we're passing through Vancouver.

For a hotel that isn’t budget-priced, this service should be automatic. The location is good, although the hotel in general and the room is quite small.

The restaurant had a pretty good breakfast. A minor nitpick. The superior king room was a little small with a lack of cabinet space to unpack clothes.

No toothbrush/toothpaste in the room (basic toiletries) considering it’s a 5-star hotel. you can’t self-park and the inly available option is to valet park, so, if you extend your stay even if its an hour, they will automatically charge you two days worth of parking but they won’t tell you that. No tv options, all movies/music needs to be paid for $24.99 🙂 the photos look very spacious because they have it on 0.5x , but when you get i side the room, the ceilings are low.
