Guest Reviews
- Guy (6/5): Decent location, for the price it is as expected. - The location was great, easy to get around. Only 1 mile from 132 and all the shops. Great area for walking, biking, jogging The stale cigarette smell in the room was almost unbearable , had to leave both windows open the entire time just to try and air it out. There were folding chairs and an old out dated table as a sitting area, the drawers for the dressers were not on tracks and handles missing to easily
Open and close
- Petiquay (4/5): - On était là que pour dormir, on a passé du temps dans un aréna Je crois que c'était une chambre pour des amoureux compte tenu que la douche est en face du lit,
- Grace (3/5): Would not recommend; splash out the money because getting a good night’s sleep is worth the money. - There sadly wasn’t anything about this accommodation that we liked. The staff member who greeted us was friendly though. The floorboards were very uneven and the screws were sticking out, making it a safety hazard to walk on. The mattress on the bed was too thin and completely worn out so we were unable to sleep on it because it felt like sleeping on wood. It hurt our backs so much that we had to leave the motel a day early and book a hotel instead so that we could sleep properly.

- Jason (8/5): -
- Garry (8/5): If you are looking for friendly staff and great value for your money this is the place. -
- Hansary (10/5): -
Bain trop petit.
- Daniel (10/5): Beau bon pas chère - Endroit propre pas trop chère, bon bain tourbillon La peinture a l'intérieur aurais besoin d'être rafraîchie. Odeur de cigarette dans la chambre
- Inna (4/5): Overall ok for one night - The location is great. The view of downtown Montreal was great! Rooms had a cigarettes smell. They tried to mask it with a dollar store aroma diffuser but all it did was enhance the stink. The bathroom was stinky too. And mattresses were really old and uncomfortable 😢

- MOHIT (3/5): The place is not clean at all. The bed and the bedsheets smelled horrible. There was nothing inside. -
- wendy (8/5): -
- Harold (4/5): Insalubrité - Le lit est relativement confortable. Piscine inutilisable, air conditionnée extrêmement sal.
- Denise (1/5): Don't stay here!!! - It was awful...dirty,hard mattress, unsafe electrical outlet...microwave, Ac,TV, fridge, all in one piggybacked outlet half hanging out of the wall...two towels for two people for 4 days..no trash or room clean the whole time...bathroom floor disgusting dirty, the door was very difficult to unlock.. We hated everything...my 84 yo Mom was horrified...no other hotel nearby or we would have left...no lock on bathroom window..so not secure...it was shameful..my next call is the health department..fire risk huge!!!
- Garry (7/5): Good -
- Ribeiro (7/5): Good - The mirrors were dusty and dirty.
- Dawn (7/5): Good -
- Debbie (6/5): Pleasant - The room was very basic. It had a private bathroom. The bed was not very good at all. It was so lumpy.
- Gabrielle (7/5): A pleasant motel to stay overnight. -
- Clifton (6/5): It's a cheap motel, don't have high expectations but works for just sleeping at. - Its a simple, old motel. It could definitely use an update and some renovations but it worked. The lady that checked us in allowed for late check-in (past midnight). It worked as a place to sleep and wasn't too expensive but not the closest to get to montreal downtown but its a quiet nice neighborhood. Could use some renovations. Its old and the bathroom is not in the best shape but I guess we were lucky everything worked. Also location is a bit far from Montréal center.
- James (7/5): great budget option close by the reserve, nice enough neighborhood, safe and clean. - cute little town on the water, free parking. great for going to the casino. great value for money. natural sunlight in the room, almost like a little cottage cabin. quiet and clean. pretty bare bones, just a standard cheap motel. Bed's not great but fine, heat seemed a little unreliable but comfortable enough.
- Pardes (1/5): Bad - The room had insects on the wall, curtain and also on the bed. It could be due to its location near the lake but it was very uncomfortable. When we checked the room from outside, there were lots of dead insects on the wall (pictures attached).
- Saraiya (3/5): Poor - Location of the property Room service did not come for 2 days and there were no toiletries provided. not recommended at all.. very small
- Ruebenwan (2/5): Avoid at all costs - The view out of the very dirty window was of the river and skyline across the other side. It was located fairly centrally which was convenient. That is the only good thing about this entire stay. Dirty. Hair on the towels and in the bathtub. Burn marks on the table. Cheap folding chairs for furniture. No light outside the room. Lots of beetle sort bugs inside. Old box of condoms shoved behind the bed. Fridge was disgusting. Freezer had some sort of dirt and grime frozen into it. Definitely the worst place I've ever stayed And definitel,y not worth the money
- Ruzica (6/5): thank you - convenience and chip we were the last unit and wifi was not great and there was a buzzing noise all night I couldn't sleep but over all it was OK for the money
- Louis (4/5): Disappointing - The Price was quite low and I needed a place to stay for only one night. It’s a small motel alongside the St-Laurent river although you cannot see the river if your rooms are on the lower level of the motel. The clerk was very rude, the room was clean but noisy with smokers staying in both rooms on either side of mine, meaning that I couldn’t open a window. I was awaken at 4.30 am but a car started next to my window and loud talking and smoking outside
- Lily (7/5): Good -
- Pauline (6/5): Basic accommodation. Got the job done. - Needed to find somewhere close when discovered that original accommodation that had been booked was closed!
- Donna (8/5): Very good -
- Abdul (1/5): Not good - communication with Chinese lady was not good. It was late night and she didn't answer phone while we were lost.
No light outside when we were walking in our room late night at the back of the motel. Not good to travel with family as it was bit scary. communication could of been better over the phone if they would respond on time
- Tracy (7/5): Good -
- Aleksandras (8/5): Very good - Nice view from hotel room Old style air conditioning was very noisy
- Shaleen (1/5): Bad - Nothing Upon arrival the lady at the reception was busy talking on the phone with some relative. Had to wait over 15 mins to check in. No supplies in the washroom. Overall a bad place to stay.
- Artur (6/5): Pleasant - Super simple motel for a budget travel - the room was clean, no one disturbed our sleep
- Emily (5/5): Not bad for the $ compared to central Montreal. Could have been cleaner. Sainte Catherine is pretty - Price is right, location is very pretty and calm with close proximity to central Montreal. Room could have been cleaner, had a stale smell and everything was pretty grimy.
- Audrey (1/5): Facilitied were sub par. Elder asian lady was unprofessional and rude the whole time, even during checkin. - The town of St Catherine. The rude elder asian lady staff.
- Mathilde (1/5): Bad -
- Yogeshwar (7/5): Good -
- Garry (8/5): Above expatiations... - We were not looking for bells and whistles on this trip simply looking a convenient fair value priced place to stay. It not only met our all our expectations but surpassed them. I am sorry I had not found this place before and will certainly be returning. It is fairly priced, clean and staff were eager to go above and beyond.
- T (3/5): Poor -
- Younes (7/5): Served the purpose - Calm area, price is ok comparing to the high season and the area. Fridge, microwave available, TV. Free parking. Late check in and was ok with late checkout. Modest property but you got what you need
- Lydia (6/5): Small, quiet motel with only basic amenities -- good choice if you're traveling on a budget! - The motel was in a quiet neighborhood right on the St. Lawrence River, with some stores, a gas station, and lots of really nice parks nearby. It was easy to get to, even though there was a detour on the street, and the room was serviceable, about what you would expect from a cheap motel. If you want somewhere to crash for the night only 15 minutes outside of Montreal, this is a really good option. The room smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking facility (possibly because people were smoking outside and it came in through the window), and one of the lights didn't work. The staff didn't speak very good English and asked us to pay for our room, which we had already done when we booked it -- it turned out that the booking was not the full price but some sort of deposit (as far as we could tell), but it only ended up being about $10 more than listed.
- Lynley (7/5): Good - Very clean Everything was good
- Chella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lori (1/5): Bad -
- Anna (9/5): Superb - 25 min to downtown
- Mahnaz (10/5): Relaxing and joyful - Location and room Pool is not operational
- Brian (5/5): Didn't expect much, but was still disappointed. - It was very close to a business i needed to visit on the south shore. The A/C had not been turned on in advance and it took until mid-night to cool down. The blinds were damaged so I was woken up at sunrise (4:30 AM). The owner/ manager charged me at the desk when I know I had already paid on Booking.com. I will look out for a double charge and i may need to have the charge reversed. Not worthy of consideration if you don't need to stay close to this neighborhood.
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Mahnaz (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable - Location and furnishings too It would be nice to have water sport gear or functioning pool. Coffee maker would be nice with coffee and tea etc.

- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Huseyin (5/5): Passable - Location Ac
- Peter (7/5): Cheap accomodation accross the water from Montreal city - For the price (relatively cheap for Montreal standards) I cannot complain. OK, it is not new and it can be seen, but everything worked, beds were fine, hot water running, wi-fi working, quiet location, ample free parking. Some guests were noisy and their steps could be heard through the ceiling, but that is normal in cheap motels like this, the receptionist did not speak very well English, but it was still OK
- Georgedim (1/5): Bad - This motel was completely run down, it needs serious renovation just to meet the basics. On top of this it's very expessive for what it offers.
- Adel (1/5): Bad -
- Kiera (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Great price for the location Pool not available needed cleaning.
Toilet wouldn't flush right some of the time .
