Even though I only stayed for one night and didn't make use of all of the amenities. It would be a great place to stay for a few days because it had a complete kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having a balcony. It provided a nice view. Loved the positioning of the bed right in front of those patio doors. It was lovely drifting off to sleep with the skyscape in full view.

• JULIEN M. (7/5): - Super emplacement! Vue exceptionnelle sur Toronto. Terrasse incroyable. Confortable. Idéal pour deux couples et/ou les familles! Seul bémol aura été l'odeur omniprésente lors de notre première nuit et le lendemain en lien avec les clients nous ayant précédés. Ces derniers ont probablement cuisiné sans ventilation. Il s'agissait d'une très forte odeur d'épices imprégnée dans les draps, les serviettes et les tissus de l'appartement (sofa, coussins, tapis, etc.). Nous avons dû faire ventiler l'appartement toute la nuit et le jour suivant pour faire réduire l'odeur. Ultimement, au bout de 2 jours, l'odeur s'est dissipée bien que toujours présente. Le personnel de la réception a été avisé, mais peu de solutions nous ont été offertes autrement que de faire ventiler en ouvrant les fenêtres et le fan de la cuisinière.

Easy to get to street cars. Not close to subway and the bed was small and a little uncomfortable. Not lots of space to have 2 bags.

Horrible experience finding the parking lot and moving around the premises due to the ridiculous system they have. Carless and full dependence in electronic means is just stupid, confusing, not practical, a waste of time and energy.

• Roxana (8/5): - We’ve stayed at a Sonder before in nyc and loved it so we decided to stay at one in Toronto & it didn’t disappoint. The only reason I took a star off was cause the mattress was soo stiff after 2 nights our back was hurting. But the viewssss omgggg the balcony was everything but it’s was pretty far from the downtown area. Expedia stated Roger center was a 5 min drive but it was actually 15min and on bus 30min depending traffic. But overall we felt safe and cozy. We were walking distance from 2 supermarkets and bunch of bars restaurants and a Tim Hurton’s. Check in was superrr easyyy the gave a code and worked every time.

Staff helpful when addressed. I didn’t like the fact that we we assigned a wheelchair accessible apartment ( we didn’t indeed ask for one !) as it changes the set up of the bathroom as well as the general set up of the apartment. Everything becomes „functional“… loses a bit of the cozyness and charm. We have two more bookings with Sonder to come (Ottawa and New York) and hope to no longer be assigned a wheelchair friendly accommodation

• Brenda (10/5): Exceptional - I will absolutely stay here again on my next trip. The one bedroom room was exactly what I needed. It was clean and quiet and I appreciated being able to do laundry in the unit. It had absolutely everything I needed. The location is just outside of the busy entertainment district, which is exactly what I wanted. There was always staff on site 24/7and they did not bother me at all. They answered my questions when I asked but otherwise did contact me. I’ve been to Toronto multiple times so was not looking for a concierge or a lot of recommendations for things to do. It is close enough to Queen that I was able to walk most places every day. We are looking to go back to Toronto in the summer and I hope they have a room for us then. Definitely recommend this place!

Excellent kitchen and washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets included, also washing gels with the washing machine and tumble drier. No need for a formal check in process upon arrival. Maybe some hotter water for the shower, and more water pressure, but that's nitpicking - it wasn't really an issue.

Upon two different arrival times on Saturday morning and afternoon, there was no front desk attendant to help with luggage storage. There was a phone number to call for help, which was nice, but it wasn’t a great experience after a travel day. The bed in one of the bedrooms was quite firm, to the point of being somewhat uncomfortable. Additionally, our Sonder apartment had an odor to it upon walking in, along with one of the bathrooms and beds smelling a bit. Everything was VERY clean, but a scent really lingered.

We asked for extra towels and a blanket to use on the couch when watching TV and they were delivered a few hours later by a friendly staff member. View from room was of a fruit delivery station with lots of trucks and storage units but noise was not a factor (maybe because it was the weekend).

• Bradley (6/5): - They force you to use an app to do everything. Unfortunately the app crashes and can’t do what it’s supposed to. Spent almost an hour on text message with the hotel to get a code for the door and parking. Also the parking cost is more than advertised. In the end, the code I was given didn’t work. Good thing there was (eventually) a person in the lobby who could let me in. Real fun at 2AM. Other than the completely terrible check in process, the room was great.
• Abigail (10/5): - The Sonder at Artesa in Toronto was a stylish and comfortable stay, with modern amenities and a seamless check-in process. The building was impressively quiet, making it a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the city!

• Rachael (10/5): - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sonder! The man at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating & the parking garage was easy to access. The room was exceptionally clean, offering plenty of amenities and more. Would 10/10 recommend and stay at a Sonder again in the future!
• Le (10/5): Wonderful! - Room is tidy, clean and spacious. Guess services are quick and responsive. Has everything you need! Room did not provide shoe mat as it was snowing our shoes left water puddles in the room, despite attempting to dry shoes before entering.

• Lucinda (10/5): - Great location, close to Metro and unique eating places. The only downside is unfinished empty areas of the building where the property is located. The view from our unit, although mostly filled with snow at that time, is sort of an eyesore (junkyard). The unit has a funky smell when we first came in. Otherwise, excellent stay over-all, quick response when we raised an issue, felt home away from home.
