- Anne Melanie (10/5): Best accommodation in the area - This was our third stay here. New building. Apartment is clean and spacious. With great light and views. Located in the Gaslight district within walking distance to restaurants and cafes. A big grocery store not too far away. You have a fully equipped kitchen. Staff are extremely responsive if you need anything. There were a few extra kitchen items we wanted and they were brought in by the housekeeping staff - you just need to ask. Comfortable bed and pillows. This is not so bad and also good. You download the key on an app on your phone. This is very easy. This time we easily got into the garage and the building with this key. However, we couldn't get it to work on the apartment door. Thankfully, a wonderful staff person (you text them) rushed down within seconds with a fob which allowed us to access that door for our stay. We have another stay planned and they said just let them know and they can bring us a fob.

A bit of a drive for us to visit Mom but we love the amenities. Well supplied kitchen with oven. CLEAN!!!! Comfy bed and pillows. TVs you can actually figure out how to work. Large balconies.

- Leah (5/5): Disappointing - There was a stain on the bed comforter. I’m not sure what it was, but I was disappointed to see it. The shower also did not work properly, the faucet continued to run while the shower head was also running which caused the tub to fill to your ankles with water. This also was insanely loud and not overly comfortable to take a nice shower in. I have used the laundry rooms before and never had an issue, however this room was disappointing.

- Richard (9/5): We loved staying at the Laundry Rooms! - Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Centrally located. Parking at $40 seemed a little expensive for Cambridge. Checking in was a little confusing the first time but the onsite concierge was very helpful setting things up with the OpenKey app.

- Kimberley (10/5): We were there for a wedding at the nearby hall, perfect short walk away and everything we needed to get ready and come b - Bright, clean, spacious with a good view, location was perfect , the apartment had everything we needed. Staff was great but all contact through texts Had to ask for clothes hangers and more coffee

- Christina (3/5): Not worth the stress! - Was convenient to the Tapestry Hall Consistently being harassed that my Shih Tzu was barking… he’s a small dog in a dog friendly hotel. Our room was right beside the elevator. Obviously he’s going to bark when he consistently hears people by the door while they wait for the elevator or are exiting the elevator. We were attending my daughter’s wedding and our stay was nothing but stressful to say the least including all our guests that booked the evening before and the evening of.

Great layout. Responsive staff - brought us hangers, cork screw, and dish towels. Loved the toiletries in the bathroom. Loved the view from the balcony. Great sunrises. Amazing amenities (including a bbq and outdoor terrace) on the 6th floor. I was anxious with only receiving entry info on the day of checking in. However, once received it was very detailed. Needed some (any) hangers (which George brought us) and hot mitts to take things out of the oven (George brought us extra dish towels to do this). Would have loved to have some chairs on the balcony. Also, maybe have some directions for the tv en suite.

Knives were not sharp - the corkscrew did not work - the can opener did not work. Although this was very minimal, it was essential, and this would not deter me from returning.

The 2 bedroom suite which we got as a VIP perk upgrade was immaculate and fully equipped with everything we needed. The master bedroom was comfortable and we had a pretty view off of the balcony. - Jennifer (4/5): - The digital key didn’t work. It worked to check in and then stopped working at midnight. I was locked out of my room for close to half an hour. The call centre representative eventually got it sorted out, but the customer service was poor and condescending. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience (we are in a business suite and only here for one night). The space is clean and satisfactory but I was quite disappointed with how this situation was handled.
- Catherine (2/5): - Title: Unsafe, Dishonest, and Traumatizing — Do Not Stay Here Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 star) I stayed at The Laundry Rooms Gaslight Cambridge and ended up locked in Room 708, terrified for my safety. Management refused to speak with me, ignored my concerns, and even hung up on my calls. I was told to vacate with no notice, despite being a confirmed guest — all while security breaches occurred, and staff knew police were involved in my case. This place looks cute on the outside, but it is incompetently managed and extremely unsafe if anything goes wrong. Do not book here if you expect privacy, basic security, or human decency. I’ve filed a formal complaint and begun legal action for breach of contract and duty of care. Stay far, far away.
