• Andrew (10/5): - Entire inn is super cozy. Staff were extremely friendly and willing to point you towards any local amenities. Breakfast was included, lots of options to choose from and you just ordered the day before.
• Trish (10/5): - Amazing staff. Claire welcomed us with a smile and a Prosceco. The personal service was appreciated. The room was large and the jetted tub soothing. Lovely room ammenities included robes, wine glasses, coffee and real glasses and mugs. The included breakfast was delicious, there were several choices for your meal and our selections came out hot and crispy and fruity! We can't wait to return!!!

• Susan (8/5): - This B&B is charming. It is an old house, though, so keep that in mind. Floors squeak, and there are no closets in the two rooms that I saw. My bathroom was desperate for an update, while my companion's room appeared to have a new bathroom. Neither had much shelf space. Staff were lovely. Being offered a glass of VQA sparkling wine upon arrival is a very nice touch. (Note to the property: it is not Prosecco). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

• Muhammad Saad (8/5): - This B&B is very cute and chic. I stayed in the master suite. It was a very comfortable room with an interesting history. However, the bed made a loud creaking sound even if I moved my arm around and I was unable to sleep because of it. The issue was addressed by the staff and I was shifted to the harriet suite. This room was definitely more comfortable but the hot tub did not have hot water. Overall, a good experience and I would stay here again if I am in the area.
• Rossitza (4/5): - Very unhappy with the room. The air is extremely warm. We were told there was central A/C. If that is the case, it does not work effectively. Additionally, there is no refrigerator in the room so you can’t have a cold drink to cool down. It is Impossible to sleep. I do not recommend this hotel for summer stays.
• Suzanne (10/5): Fergus Gem - This beautiful boutique hotel in beautiful downtown Fergus is a rare gem. It's located on an old stone house, with all the character associated with one, high ceilings, stunning woodwork, original stone walls in bedrooms. We were greeted with a welcome Prosecco and shown to our room. It was extremely clean and well stocked with amenities. We ate in the Ferguson Pub and fish & chips and Reuben sandwich were excellent. Breakfast is included and you chose what you want at check-in and we ate outside in the lovely conservatory. Parking right beside the hotel. I would highly recommend and the staff were all so pleasant and friendly.

• Ronnie (2/5): Poor experience - Unfortunately our anniversary night out was ruined. We waited for over 2 hours for food from the pub. It was not busy! The fire alarm battery beeper went off at 3:30am and continued to beep for almost 2 hours. Despite reaching out to the staff, nothing was done about it. Then, the breakfast that was included, was unable to be served so we had to go out for breakfast at our own cost. Overall, a very poor experience for the price point.

You also had the option to eat on the patio surrounded by gardens. Their staff provide the best engaging customer service. Wonderful experience.

Surprised by the quality and inventiveness of the kitchen. We only ate breakfast but it was delicious and had interesting high quality options you do not find at other hotels, even high-end locations.

Not appropriate for any older person. My husband had trouble to get down steps. No counter space in bathroom to put your toothbrush even. Just a pedestal sink that was broken. No door at bathroom just a disgusting curtain. The tv lacked any channels to watch. Very dated decor. The room was located in a building which I assume was a house at one point. It was beside the main inn. The outside looked lovely and gardens but the interior was musty and old. Didn’t feel safe with a key system Anybody could open that door with the simple lock that was there. No safe in the room. The worst was that there was no ac just a room fan. And heating was an electric fireplace unit in corner. Would not recommend this inn. We had no choice as we were attending wedding and needed lodging. For the price I would preferred a modern chain with amenities.

• Dryden (8/5): - Beautiful, quaint little inn that my husband and I stayed at when attending a wedding. Little quirks you get with an older property like the key entry, tight parking (we have a truck), small bathroom with no fan/vent, window air conditioner… but it was beautiful with lots of charm like the wooden staircase, exposed brick, the courtyard restaurant… and the service made it so memorable. We would definitely come back, it is a perfect little getaway for a couple who wants a quiet and relaxing stay!

• Tanja (8/5): Comfortable and Historical - The Breadalbane Inn is lovely, and I would definitely recommend it. We stayed in the main inn, which was both comfortable and elegant with interesting antiques and architecture. Fergus, and nearby Elora, are charming, as well as close proximity to farmer's markets, waterfalls, etc. If possible, I would give it a rating of 4.5 stars due to a few puzzling cost-saving choices. * Pleasingly, the room had a tray with an assortment of glassware and a decanter of water. The water, however, tasted strongly of chlorine. Why provide a decanter that contains tap water?! All of the other inns we visited had spring water, or at least water treated by reverse osmosis. If not offering pleasant water, simply leave the decanter empty. * The inn prides itself on it's food. We ordered the pork schnitzel and mushroom bianco pizza. The schnitzel was HUGE, but was served with a tiny amount of Jager sauce (a thimble in comparison to the schnitzel). A wedge of lemon would have been a welcome addition. Similarly, the presence of fresh ground pepper would have greatly elevated the pizza. Small things that would make a nice meal truly remarkable.
