• Jocelyn (8/5): Charming BNB with great breaky!! - Breakfast was wonderful. Host was lovely, welcomed us upon arrival, and clearly enjoys spending time with her guests. BNB overall was incredibly charming, and a memorable stay. Would recommend to others. Our room had a few bugs (fall, so likely to be expected in an old home like this), the small hole in the ceiling right above our bed would be good to patch up, and the water pressure in shower was sub-par.

• Richard (8/5): - Phoned Nicole on arrival at address and had keys and a chat within 5 minutes. Very clean suite with comfortable beds. Very close to good restaurants local highlights. Streets were clean, well-lit and easy to get around to places of interest. We enjoyed two, sunny days in Kenora with Stone House as our home-base. There was a little foot-traffic noise from floor above and the neighbourhood does have a number of street-people that appear in various locations. However, we had no interactions with them on our many walks and felt quite safe, overall. Police station was less than two blocks from Stone House which likely improves safety.

The location is in downtown Kenora with several restaurants and pubs nearby. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Great location. - Fantastic location with restaurants, coffee shop and the lakefront area all within a 3-5 minute walk. Spotlessly clean and bright with great lighting and natural light from windows. Great little kitchenette was convenient. Seating options were awkward for eating for two people but we made do.

We were able to stop by the room throughout the day to drop off our purchases and rest when needed. Overall a wonderful experience.

Das.Apartment und sicher alle anderen im Haus sind sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet Alles sehr hochwertig, besonders die Bettwäsche. Kleine Küche mit Mikrowelle und Kaffee / Tee Zubehör. Das Haus war allerdings sehr hellhörig, wofür keiner was kann. In der Nacht war es sehr ruhig. Die Gegend ist ist auch gut, nah zum Hafen und ein paar Restaurants. Das Parken hinter dem Haus ist kostenlos. -

• Kelvin (10/5): 10/10 - Book now if you're in Kenora! - Nicole, the host, was friendly, informative and super helpful - at some point in the afternoon I needed crazy glue, and she unexpectedly came through with some! The room was clean; had a well appointed kitchenette and a super comfy bed. The shared common room with brochures and snacks was a nice touch. The house is within a stone's throw of Shoppers Drug Mart and a plethora of restaurants. Don't miss out on this home away from home if Kenora is a stopping point on your journey. Almost not worth mentioning, but there is no in-suite control of the temperature as the HVAC is centrally controlled. Having said that, the temperature I experienced was perfect.

It is a very well maintained and clean, cozy room with everything we needed. It was very quiet, and we felt comfortable (great bed and fridge, coffee, etc.) and we'd definitely recommend and return again! The host was wonderful at anticipating people's needs and there is effort and caring involved in how they run their business. Nothing comes to mind.

• Amrita (10/5): - My husband and I booked the property last minute. I was impressed by Nicole’s communication skills from the get go. The vibe of the place is so homey and felt relaxed. Not like a hotel. She greeted us right away and gave a tour of the place. Our room was very clean and smelled fresh! The mattress was so comfortable, the shower had great pressure and temperature. I like the additions of the mini fridge and coffee maker as well. Everything was in excellent condition. My only feedback is there is a lot of homeless population in the area and back alleys. I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking alone in the night.

I told my wife if we stayed in Kenora again for any reason that we should stay there. I was very happy with their guest Netflix on their smart TV. There was a mini fridge with drinks inside. Very posh looking presentation of little details such as folding the towels neatly etc. A real eye for detail! I’m easy to please but it was great. Bed was very comfy! And the blankets smelled very fresh and clean. Thank you!!
