- Jennifer (4/5): - When we arrived, the foyer area was in disarray. There was garbage and empty bottles everywhere. A box of crackers. We tried the coffee machine and it did not work. When we went into our room, there was pubic hair on the toilet seat. We were quite surprised and disappointed especially five. The cost of the room.

As our room located beside the living room and dining room, we heard conversations till 12:30am and could not get to sleep. Might be a good idea to inform guests to keep voices to a minimum in deference to people that are in bed earlier.

- Margo (10/5): - Rodman hall was a great experience with wonderful accommodations. The entire space was open to enjoy and offered rooms and spaces that transported me back in time. Absolutely recommend for anyone who enjoys a historic feel with all the modern life luxuries.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The boutique hotel is an experience. It is beautiful and enormous. It has been beautifully restored, with minor things needing a little touch up here and there. The check in process was easy. The grounds are amazing. It is very close to downtown which I should've know, but didn't realize. The proximity to the run down area of the city was slightly unnerving, but we were very safe and had no troubles.

- Lynda (10/5): - The Rodman Hotel is a wonderful heritage building, if you are looking for old world charm, this is the place. The surrounding grounds are well kept and provide a great space to wander around and relax. The bedroom suite was a very generous size and extremely comfortable. Whilst there are no dining facilities, the hotel maintains a tea and coffee area for guests as well as cold water and orange juice. We will be staying at this property again in the future.

The cottage was cozy but we had the feeling it was put together without thought to guests. No hooks for Towels no where to sit but a broken down (but beautiful) couch. - Hazel (10/5): - Everything about Rodman Hall Boutique Hotel is exquisite!! Highly recommend this property to everyone. We stayed a a very large, beautiful and comfortable bedroom upstairs. We lacked nothing! It’s remarkably quiet at this peaceful and pretty property. Take the time to wander about the building and see all the gorgeous decor. The details of this renovation are really impressive! Truly a labour of love for the owners of this hotel. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge downstairs listening to music and reading. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. There are many excellent restaurants in the area. (No dining available on site, but complimentary tea, coffee, juice & water is available.) If you’re visiting Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake I’d recommend staying here and making the short drive to visit those places! It’s an amazing place for locals to have a staycation!! 🇨🇦

We enjoyed the nature trails along the river, the breweries and restaurants downtown, and the easy access to the train. The hotel is decorated nicely and the coffee/tea in the main dining area is a nice touch, even there is no staff or anyone on site. They could increase the customer experience with more premium toiletries, and we found it a little inconvenient to not be able to control our room temperature. Other than that, our stay was everything we could’ve wanted.

- Martha (10/5): - This quiet and private property is as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. Our rooms, The Merritt Suite, was spacious and beautifully furnished. The common areas on all three floors are stunning. Rodman Hall was an excellent location near a quaint downtown area and within easy reach of many wineries and orchards. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It is a wonderful place for an event or wedding. The building and grounds would make a lavish backdrop.

The grounds are magnificent. In busy downtown Saint Catherine’s, it is a retreat. I would give it more than five stars if I could do so. We certainly plan to come again.

- Alicia (6/5): - It’s an elegant old mansion and while the room was comfortable there were lots of odd quirks. The lighting in the rooms and bathrooms was poor. In addition there wasn’t any information about the property upon self check in, eg is there coffee in the am etc. also the outside lights were left on all night which streamed through the drapes making it difficult to sleep. It was an ok stay and quaint but I wouldn’t go rushing back.

- Vipool (10/5): Unique and special place - My wife and I visited Rodman Hall to attend a wedding in town. This is a very unique and special place. We were blown away by the attention to detail and care take to restore the property to its original 19th century look. Would highly recommend.
- Jorge (10/5): - The room we got was smaller than what our pictures on expedia lead us to believe but we still gave it 5 stars as the property itself was amazing, inside and out. Things to know. Our room did have a toilet and sink but no shower. There was 2 community washrooms with showers. Our room 303 3rd floor front left corner of the property. Did have a mascerator connected to the plumbing. Whenever we flushed the toilet or ran the bathroom faucet in our room, it would make a crazy loud grinding noise. Scared the crap out of us and im sure it scared our neighbors too at 1am. That was our only issue with the property but we understood trying to make plumbing work in something built in 1856. Again amazing property. Don't hesitate to book.

- Victoria (10/5): - The property is beautiful! The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the gardens are lovely. The building is very secure. I appreciated the continental breakfast each morning. There was no front desk or staff apart from the gentleman who laid out the breakfast. I would stay here again.
- JOANNE (10/5): Canada - This is a beautifully renovated home that is a cornerstone of history for the area. The owner, Nino, gave us the grand tour and I do mean grand. Be sure to check out the history of Rodman Hall so before you go. There is no restaurant on the grounds, which are beautiful, but there are plenty downtown which is a short drive away.

I was very surprised to find I was the only person at the property - no staff or other guests. I was given a key code for the front door and for my room. It was unnerving and creepy to be staying alone. The toiletries were bulk purchase from costco and there was a dodgy Keurig machine in a corner of a dining room that I found - not something I ended up trying. The building itself was beautiful and the furnishings were nice, but the grounds are tired and need some love. It could be a good place if you were hosting an event or for a group, but I would not recommend as a hotel.
