Guest Reviews
- Rhett (10/5): -
- Paula (8/5): Beautifully maintained historical house. - Breakfast was good. Bed was comfy. Bathroom nicely decorated, Location on edge of main part of town made walking easy. The house has some lovely history and architecture. Our room was heavily decorated with all things 'royal family and Princess Diana' which meant we had to be super careful not to knock anything - all the surfaces had pottery and pictures on it. Couldn't quite relax, would have preferred more space in the room to be honest
There are no TVs in the guest living room or bedroom so good to know this ahead of time - we stayed in late December so no entertainment in town either!.
Also we were told if we wanted hot water for tea in the evening we had to message the host to bring it out - there was no kettle in the communal dining room for us to use ourselves. We didn't want to bother anyone so we didn't end up making the tea.

- Lisa (10/5): Great place to stay! Breakfast was very delicious & the dining space was beautiful. - Beautiful house
Awesome hosts The bed could have been more firm for me.

- Michael (10/5): - Elizabeth and Glen are wonderful Inn Keepers. The Sea Bank House was pristine and the rooms were very well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location was ideal.
- jill (6/5): - Beautiful property spacious room tastefully decorated ,nice hosts The room was too hot The mattresses were too hard for my liking.. noisy children next-door at an early hour. Breakfast choices were limited..
- Valerie (10/5): - Met at the door by the owner who showed us to our room, which was just spectacular, clean with drool worthy antique furnishings in a wonderfully renovated old home. Everything was just so beautiful. And the breakfast was Michelin star worthy. Elizabeth and Glenn were wonderful hosts. Knowledgeable about their area and enthusiastic to share with their guests
- Susan (10/5): - Breakfast of fruit with yogurt, and eggs benedict was very good. The host was very flexible by making breakfast earlier than they usually serve as I had a client meeting I had to get to in Lower Sackville NS. And, they made my husband scrambled eggs and toast with his peameal bacon.
- Linda (10/5): - Ein wunderschönes, einzigartiges B&B; Elizabeth und ihr Mann sind leidenschaftliche Gastgeber; das Frühstück war hervorragend und liebevoll zubereitet
- Dave (10/5): Great stay - highly recommended - Glenn and Elizabeth are great hosts, very personable and made us feel right at home. Very clean home, very quiet, well maintained. Comfortable beds, very nice breakfast service, coffee and tea available 24x7.
- Simon (10/5): A perfect Bed & Breakfast - Lovely Bed & Breakfast on edge of the town but easy walking to the centre. Room was immaculate & breakfast perfect. The owners want you to have an enjoyable stay.
- Linda (10/5): - We were in Hummingbird, a lovely room. View of the water over the train station. Easy walk to many restaurants and the kilometers-long Pictou seaside walk. House has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Hummingbird is at the top of the stairs, but was still very quiet. Couldnt hear other guests at all.
Hosts very nice and helpful. Breakfast egg bennys anf fresh fruit salad great
- Richard (10/5): - Clean comfortable room. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly owners. Nothing
- Mary (10/5): - Glen and Elizabeth are friendly hosts, as is their dog Cassie!
The house is beautiful, our room was large and very comfortable.
Wonderful bed and linens and towels.
Nice to walk to a restaurant for dinner.
Delicious breakfast.
Overall a wonderful stay.

- Edita (10/5): - One of the best stays were had during our trip. Everything from check in was above and beyond. Highly recommended.
- Monika (8/5): Perfekt für ein kurzer Aufenthalt - Gut und viel Platz im Zimmer.
- Susan (10/5): Wonderful stay! - My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Seabank House B & B. The older, but renovated, house, was charming. It reminded us of our past house in Scotland (we now live in Ontario), which had larger rooms, tall ceilings, and an elegance about it. The beds were very comfy with lovely soft linen too. The bedroom and washroom were clean, and had what we needed. The breakfast was enjoyable and set us up for the morning ahead. Any special request we made, was happily accommodated. We would definitely return! :)
- brad (10/5): - The owners did a great job looking after everything. The room was great and breakfast very good. They even got us checked in a little earlier !
- wade (10/5): - Beautiful old house, well located. Room a bit small, but breakfast of eggs Benedict was amazing.
- Bruce (8/5): Friendly, welcoming, and a nice ambiance - It has a very nice old house ambiance. The owners our very nice and friendly. Great breakfast. If you have problems with stairs, you might want to reconsider staying here. They shouldn't be an issue, though, for most people. The check in and check out times could be better.
- Nicole (10/5): - Amazing Hosts, lovely homes with spacious rooms. Excellent location. We will definitely be back.
- Darren (10/5): - Great hosts, beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again
- Ron (10/5): Yummy breakfast and a good night’s sleep. - Beautiful old building, nicely refurbished. Easy walk to shore area and restaurants.
- Michel (10/5): - Parfait
- Verified traveler (10/5): A comfortable overnight stay in Pictou - We enjoyed a night here on our way back to Halifax. The hosts were lovely and helpful. Check-in was easy. B&B is within walking distance of restaurants. It’s an older home with decor to match. Breakfast was only served til 8:30 and checkout was by 10:00am which might be a concern for some. Breakfast was excellent!!
- Jeannette (10/5): - Great property and historically unique. Appreciated the cleaniness and delicious breakfast. Would recommend this b/b to others for a great experience.
- Donna (10/5): - Beautiful home, rooms are comfortable, bed are comfortable, hosts are friendly and the breaksfast was amazing.

- Anne (10/5): - This is a beautiful historic property close to shops and restaurants and about 9 minutes drive to the PEI ferry. We enjoyed chatting with our hosts and loved the delicious breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again.
- Sylvie (10/5): Exceptional - We appreciate everything.
The room (as everywhere in the B&B) was clean, beautiful and really well renovated. Our room was huge and well ventilated. The King bed was very comfortable.
Very good location near restaurants and the shore.
The breakfast was one of the best I ever ate in a B&B: fresh fruits with yogourt and granola, good coffee and tea, fruit juice, excellent Bénédictine eggs..perfect!
The quiet living room made available to us with many beautiful books...quiet as all the house. Nothing
- terence (10/5): - Excellent location, nice local restaurants. Really nice house and the room was very spacious, the bed was super comfy. Access to a nice sitting area downstairs as well. The breakfast was superb. Glen and Elizabeth were excellent hosts , took the time to talk and help with local suggestions etc. would definitely stay here again when in area.
- Craig (9/5): A wonderful, warm welcoming property in a great location. - A beautiful house from 1850 tastefully furnished with gorgeous antique furnishings. The hosts are perfect and the breakfast was great.
- Deborah (10/5): - My husband and I only stayed one night but loved the experience. This is not a typical, run of the mill home. Rather it’s a lovingly restored Victorian house with many beautiful and original features. We stayed in the Royal Suite (super comfy King bed) and each room offers a unique theme. Elizabeth and Glenn are gracious hosts and despite the fact that I’m sure Glenn has told the story a thousand times of how they acquired the home and restored it, he shared it with us and answered our many questions about the history of the home with enthusiasm. Sadly we had to leave after a great breakfast in the morning. There is a genuine desire to make sure your stay is comfortable and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
- Martin (10/5): - Elizabeth and Glenn are great hosts and they operate a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. The location is great, and the house is old and beautiful. The furniture is to be respected as it is of great significance :-) Excellent breakfasts in the morning and very easy communications and collaborations.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -

- Brian (10/5): We would do this again in a heartbeat - Great room. Decorated in thematic tones. Comfortable king bed, on the firm side, which we appreciated. Brekkie was outstanding! The place was quiet and fastidiously clean. No reason to bypass this historical building and fabulous hosts!! I (we) loved everything
- Nancy (10/5): The Seabank House is a wonderful place to stay in the picturesque town of Pictou. - A cute historic house just a block or so from the harbor. Run by a lovely couple. Breakfast was yummy. Note that the rooms are upstairs so you may want to leave heavy bags in the car and just take what you need upstairs.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
