Guest Reviews
- Fadeke (6/5): - I was given wrong impression about the place am booking . It was never shown that it is a basement room and i was not informed unti i got there . Basement is not a place i will book to stay . The owner too is not polite and talk in disrespectful way . The basememt is unfinished and i could see renovation goiing on there which is very risk and unhealthy to stay. very risky and danger to stay as the stairs are not in good order . The rails are not there and i almost fell down when climbing .the owner is not polite and rude
- Gavin (6/5): - The tenants are wierdos who forget their passords to their doors and then want to use yor phone and look at you passord too.
- Michael (6/5): - It was not what i pan for but ok
- Sarabjeet (4/5): - The stench in room was bad bedding looked clean but I don’t know why stench and kitchen! Very dirty very dirty
- Olawale (10/5): - Is good
- mina (2/5): - It is a room inside an abandoned house, in 3 floors, no living room, no common area, no facility , no cooking permission , no kitchen facilities, no TV and almost ghosts house. you should smoke in the back yard full of grass and shower in dirty bath, and sleep in a room with insects on the ceiling, they are earning without spending a penny for housekeeping to at least keep the place clean. Fully shock!
- Laser (6/5): - front doors, faucets of sink and shower could have a bit of fixing; parking bit of hazzle-can get boxed in at times
- SawokethAli (8/5): - All good. Nice place
- Norman (2/5): - We were there before the 11pm deadline. Kitchen non functional. Paint pealing. Owners not present, nor were they answering their phone. The Guest/resident was not helpful. The bath room was discusting. After 2 hrs of waiting on the owners, we left and found a hotel.
- Kean (4/5): - Parking situation was very undesirable; having to park blocking the driveway with other cars already in the driveway and no-where else to legally park.
- Mwangala (4/5): - I didnt like the general cleanliness of the guest.
- BATUHAN (6/5): - You pay what you get ,permanent odour in entrance , clean room and linen , air condition poor
- Aamir (8/5): - Good
- Keisha (2/5): - Unclean
- Ajaykumar (2/5): - Bad
- DOGAN (2/5): - Horrible place to stay
- Ernest (6/5): not for young people - it was igh, get what you pay for , a lil too far from the city , not too bad , place to rest your head at night and private enough , walls are lowkey thin too so idk if you can really hit it 360 while staying there
- Nikolay (2/5): - A poor place for stay - only if you have no other option
- Vikram (2/5): - Dont get fooled by the description.. this place was a living hell .. i slept in my car instead of sleeping in the house .. heat/ac doesn’t work and the entire place was dirty as hell !!
- Panderee (4/5): - Odour throughout the property unexplained, stained countertops in the kitchen when arrived, everything was subpar, you get what you pay for, but the unexplained smell throughout the house was very displeasing, very pungent especially in the kitchen area, ruins your whole appetite, along with having to share with 1 house with random strangers was unexpected
- Jeff (4/5): - Washroom, kitchen not clean. Same slippers for everyone, loud noises after 10:00 when I had to awake by 5 am. Paid for two night stayed one
The ad stated no refund!
- Tonia (10/5): - Comfortable
- Bradley (8/5): - Good
- Oluwalana Sylvester (10/5): - Very clean and serene.
- franki (4/5): - Cleanliness is all around no care. Bathtube is so dirty. Restroom sink is defective and no water at all. Staff there talk very loud all day long... She does not realize customer is resting and sleeping.
- Al (10/5): - Private Washroom
- Ganiyat (6/5): - He's okay, but the bathroom must be clean better.
- Jay (8/5): - good experience
- Anojen (10/5): - Nice
- Kom (2/5): - sale, pas de serviette, ni du café, bruit
- chintan (2/5): - Not good
- Jennifer (2/5): - Not worth it. Bugs🙄
- Peter Claver (10/5): - Everything was best
- Dowain (8/5): - Great place

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
- Emile (10/5): - Safe and clean
- nebojsa (4/5): - There are no towels in the bathroom or in the bedroom, someone is talking loudly all night.
- yimin (4/5): - Not convenient
- Jose (2/5): I didn't receive the amail with entrance code - I didn't receive information how came inside the house, I didn't receive a email with entrance code, the last time I looked the new host or hotel
- Andrew (10/5): - Its ok, thomas is easy to talk to
- Shikha (4/5): - Housemates were loud, super noisy and had no etiquettes to live in a shared household. There are more than 7-8 guests living in this house and they don’t respect any member of the house. Cooks unbearable large meals at night, smokes up every single minute, doesn’t keep the shared spaces in the kitchen and living room clean. Constant loud swearings in the middle of the night and often got into physical fights out of nowhere! It was a complete nightmare living in this house! The landlord of this property reached out to me at the last minute and assigned me a different house than the previously booked place stating that the rooms are no longer available. He was kind and informative about this last minute change however forgot to mention about the noisy unbearable living situation of the other housemates
Overall not a decent place to live for those who wish to stay for a short business/leisure trip. Definitely don’t recommend anyone booking this place. It’s not listed by Expedia but the owner might redirect to this house #37 Delburn Street
PLEASE AVOID BOOKING IF YOU WISH TO BE SAFE.
- Andre (8/5): - Good place. But no cooking at the house, that I don’t understand.
- Susana (10/5): - Place a little out dated , like bathroom, didn’t have enough blankets,
- Giulia (8/5): - I slept very well and the house was in a good position
- Audrey (6/5): - Bedside lamp didn't work. Had to go searching for towels. None in room.
- Pippa (2/5): - I would not recommended this property at all. No entry information was provided before getting to the house. There was no cooking facilities as the photos suggested - only a microwave and a fridge freezer which was very full and dirty. The place didnt seem like it had regular cleaning and had people who lived there. The walls are very thin and noise carried easily - people were up all night talking. Would avoid at all costs
- Adewale Jeremiah (10/5): - Very good location and it is habitable, i quite enjoyed my stay.
- Akul (6/5): - It was sharing property. Felt a little uncomfortable.
- Joao (2/5): - This property it’s a dumpster, no AC the room is terrible, the bed chits were dirty the was not made and so on , I do not recommend any one to stay there
- Kristal (10/5): - Owner was very helpful , convienent for a quick trip
- NDEYE MARIE (2/5): - J ai du faire une nuit et changer car les conditions n étaient pas bonne bien que j ai payé tout mon séjour
Trop de bruit et pas propre du tout
Très très déçue
- Hanna (6/5): - Average
- OLAYEMI FUNMI (2/5): - Very bad
- Sajan (2/5): - Worst place to stay in Toronto..
Broken windows, smelly rooms
Bathrooms are worst…. Mold everywhere..
Please do not stay in this property…
- Parham Rezazadeh (4/5): - The house had a very strong unpleasant odor, bathroom was dirty with black mold and the room was just a plain room. The steps to the basement and the hallway was dirty and ugly.
We had not a good experience there
- Marion (2/5): - 9 bedrooms with one dirty shower and 2 toilets. No aircon, no common area, not allowed to cook, back garden full of weeds. No one official greeted us.
- Sarah (4/5): - I liked that the host was responsive when I contacted them, and all our interactions were professional. The front door and the door to my room had a keyless electronic door lock. The bathrooms were not clean - there was urine in and around the toilet, the bathtub/shower, sink, mirror, and counters had scum, and bathtub and shower had mold. The walls are thin and I could easily hear the people talking in the room beside me. The AC wasn't sufficient if it was on - I was hot and sweating. I was very uncomfortable and would not stay here again.
- Marufa (4/5): - Room is clean but was not enough cold. It was too hot inside. They have fan as well but not enough colder.washroom is Terrible . Very old dinner table and chairs. Is not decent.
- Lindsey (4/5): - This property is actually about 7 bedrooms, the bedroom doors have locks with codes on them. The shower has mold in it. There is a kitchen but the stove has a sign that says "NO COOKING" so that is unfortunate. I parked where I was told to and then somebody double parked behind me in the driveway. Because I had to go to an event all day, I had to take an expensive Uber to my event and then get a ride back to this location in order to collect my car. I informed the owner of my difficulties and received no response. It's cheap and you can tell, and it would have been fine except for the parking situation.
- Jemima (2/5): - The place is really disgusting. We arrived at 6pm and still hadn’t received our room details and access code. Had to call the host and which took longer than necessary because we did not have a local number that he could text us on and he refused to do it by email because he was driving though our booking information stated that it would communicated 24hours before check-in time.
Now the house: filthy. The bathroom is disgusting and doesn’t look like it’s had a clean in a while. The house and room is overall cleaner but there’s a really bad stink. Oh and watch out for the bathroom door upstairs, it gets stuck and it might be a while before you are able to get it opened. Giving you the heads up because the host doesn’t.
- QING (10/5): - I like the bathroom
- Carlton (2/5): - The house wasn’t cleaned and prepared. I am definitely not pleased
- Sunita (10/5): - Great!
- Nura (8/5): - Good
- Kevin (10/5): - .
- Alan (8/5): - Room is clean. Highly recommended for short stays.
- Tony (6/5): Nothing Special - House was dirty. Mold in shower. No towels. Bed not made. Nice people. I would not stay there again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): I left after the first night despite booking four! - This is actually an Airbnb through Expedia! It did not say so on Hotels.com, as I was watching to avoid Airbnb and Expedia!
The only room that was clean was the bedroom. The main floor toilet had poo smudges on it and the basement toilet with the shower had a moldy curtain and other nastiness. (see pictures) The listing said washer/dryer but there was only a washer.
My bedroom was separated from a shared space (kitchen) with a paper thin wall and the only thing to block noise was some foam pads you'd find in a recording studio pinned to the back of the door, so I woke up to a couple talking very softly at 5am.
I don't know how many rooms are upstairs but the main floor and basement together have 5 rooms and the driveway only holds 4 cars, there is a single road space. There was a note on the door threatening to call cops over people who can't fit in the limited spaces
I had to leave since I thought my hotel would have towels and rags and I didn't think it was a good idea to try to make it work
- Cathy (8/5): - Great price and conveniently located close to the 401. I personally did not like the commual living style of this property, but did like having the use of the fridge/freezer.
- Amos (10/5): - Very clean and quiet
- Shahfaisal (10/5): - It was really good
- Joshua (10/5): - This is beautiful and they have security cameras and passcodes. I like that alot.
- Hauwa (4/5): - Very dirty
- Guadalupe (6/5): - It wasn't clean. The bed wasn't made, dirty sheets. Dust.
- LUKMON (10/5): - The property owner has very poor customer service and also toilet and bath located on a different floor from the room.
- Lynn (4/5): - It’s a house that the guy cut up into ten or so different rental rooms. No cooking allowed! Place was dusty from being sealed up. Bed was on the floor and difficult to get up from. Blankets and sheets looked like they were from a garage sale. Bathroom shower was in the underground basement! There were even two “units” in that underground basement.
- OLUWASEUN (8/5): - The environment is serene, the host warming and the general ambience is peaceful.
- Jamaal (10/5): - Great!
- Michael (6/5): - There are no tea cups in this facility, its very cold and as such most of us would like to take tea or coffee.
I also can not cook my meal here and I am staying here for about a month.
These things should be looked at.
Thanks
- Naveen (2/5): - The experience was awful because the room depicted in the pictures appeared well-appointed, but upon arrival, I was shown a basement. Furthermore, the staff were preoccupied with phone calls, leaving me unattended while monitoring my movements via cameras and giving instructions remotely. This lack of personal attention and the unsettling atmosphere made me feel unsafe, prompting me to leave immediately on the night of April 1st. I felt deceived by the discrepancy between the advertised and actual conditions.
- odile (10/5): - Simple à accéder calme
- Russell (2/5): - This property had all the charm of a youth hostel with none of the amenities. A single family home converted to a dormitory with 10 rooms, shared bathrooms and two showers for all, there is a two-chair common area in the kitchen where you can’t cook. If you want this level of accommodation, it is fine. If you were tricked into it, it was miserable.
