Dajana (10/5): Lovely stay in Collingwood - Loved our stay at the Dorchester Hotel. It was clean, spacious, and the location was exactly where we wanted to be to enjoy a little getaway from the city. Check in was very easy, and parking was no issue. Collingwood has very nice dining spots, and the biking trails were nice along the water. Would definitely recommend!

Von Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Geschirr, Kühlschrank, Bügeleisen, Bügelbrett, Safe, ein sehr bequemes Bett. Die Handtücher sind qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Und der absolute Qlou ist ein Plattenspieler und Schallplatten. Das Personal unglaublich freundlich. -

The staff was so friendly and helpful, check-in seamless, love the no-key check-in. The Tremont for drinks (chef's kiss). Excellent cocktails! Great value for the cost!

Great ambiance overall!!! Key/door system via email is a nuisance. Far below expected access to tv stations, very few channels “actually” available. No desk area or table in room.
BeanyExplorer (10/5): If I could give 10/10 I would! - Truly a fantastic hotel, it isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for! This is a lovely small boutique hotel decorated to the highest of standards with every detail thought of in terms of extras in your room. The room size was exceptional. The staff were also excellent and free parking on site is a bonus.

Being a statutory holiday, most guests had left, so the hotel was pleasantly quiet. The room was spotlessly clean – bravo to housekeeping! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the decor and aesthetics of the room were elegant and thoughtfully done. It’s clear the hotel has been beautifully restored and renovated. Thoughtful in-room amenities included bottled water, a Nespresso machine with pods, and a wide range of bathroom products – shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, shower cap, mending kit, and vanity items like cotton pads and ear swabs (wish I’d known – could’ve packed lighter!). Bathrobes were provided, but note that you’ll need to bring your own slippers. Access to the room and hotel is done via a digital link sent to your phone, which unlocks your room and hotel doors. After 8 pm, there's no front desk staff, so your phone is essential for coming and going. The link expires upon checkout. All in all, a stylish, comfortable stay with thoughtful touches and a seamless modern check-in experience. I’d absolutely return and highly recommend it!

Facilities are perfect, location is great and we’ll definitely return to The Dorchester when in Collingwood again. The town of Collingwood is also beautiful, must visit location away from the packed Toronto streets.

Christina (10/5): Very impressive makeover of an older building into the hotel that is there now - Exceptional attention to detail in the decor of our room. Great location in the heart of the historic downtown of Collingwood. Staff very helpful and willing to please First time that we encountered having to use our phone as the key to the hotel doors and to our room. It's not that we didn't like that but that was a learning curve for us and the staff was very dedicated to make sure we knew the process.

Rob (7/5): Very nice. Don’t stay here if your business meeting might be cancelled in <5 days!!!!! - I was disappointed by the 5 day cancellation rule. With only three cars in the parking lot at 6am, I’m sure they need the business this time of year, but my business meeting got cancelled on Monday morning at 7am, and I had to either eat the cost or scramble up an alternative by Tuesday afternoon. Luckily, I had a University Classmate who stepped in! I won’t be booking a business dinner/room at this hotel again

torym621 (6/5): Comfortable But! - Good Location and comfortable, but!! North side Rooms subject to blaring Techno music until well after midnight not sure if this was a one off? No visible local club activity? ....stick to the South side rooms. Good Luck! Signed Tired and Bleary Eyed! Minus $400!!

The bathtub drain would not stay closed, so it was impossible to use the large bathtub. Which was one of the reasons I chose the hotel and room. You could also hear people walking above us, and people opening and closing doors and walking in the hall.

I’ve stayed in top-tier five-star hotels, and while this is a boutique property, the overall experience came remarkably close to what you’d expect at a Four Seasons. The attention to detail, service quality, and ambiance were on par with some of the best luxury hotels. The hotel’s rich history adds to its charm, with thoughtful touches throughout that elevate the stay beyond typical boutique expectations.
TravelLovers1234 (8/5): Beautiful hotel that we will stay at again - The room, lobby and parking are all top notch. What sort of made me think twice was the room key which was a link that was emailed to me. It was for the wrong room number compared to the room that I was assigned in the room access email. When we went to check in we talked to the front desk and they had a system problem which they over rode.
