Guest Reviews
- Petra (8/5): -
- Nachiket (10/5): -
- Jo (4/5): The extra cleaning charges were not warranted for the quality of stay - Location No towels, hot water could not be easily turned on, re-entry to property was not properly communicated, primary bed frame was not firm, temperature in the unit was not good, had to take the garbage out ourselves and had to strip the beddings
- Rachel (7/5): Good for the value in the location it is - The location was great, the cottage was very cute, everything we needed was provided Knowing the welcome centre closes at 7 would have been helpful, the sight of the area rug made me uneasy, the mattresses were not very thick
- Moustafa (9/5): Clean and spacious property with a very responsive owner, but the hot water issue needs improvement. - The owner was very responsive and always replied immediately, whether by message or phone call. I requested a baby cot, and it was ready at the property when we arrived.
The property itself was very clean, and the area was nice and spacious. Overall, we had a good stay. There are only two points that need attention. First, make sure the app on your phone can open the gate before the staff leave. I was not able to get back in at one point, and the staff had already left.
The second issue was the hot water. It only lasted around five minutes, which was very difficult, especially if more than one person needs to shower one after another. This would be even harder in cold weather. This issue almost made me want to give a 2-star rating, but I didn’t because I later realized it was mentioned in the instructions. I had missed it on the paper placed on the kitchen counter.
I really hope the owner or property manager considers finding a proper solution for the hot water issue, as it would make the stay much more comfortable for families or larger groups.

- Annick (8/5): À refaire! - L'emplacement est magnifique! Très bien situé et facilement accessible! Nous avons eu de la difficulté à comprendre comment fonctionnait le système de télévision.
- Sunita (5/5): Not upto our expectations - The location was good, near Niagara River and some wineries. Welcome staff were excellent. Maintenance staff arrived in good time, to set up AC etc. Wifi and TV provided free. We could check in only after 3pm and checkout next day at 11, giving us a very short stay for the one night we stayed. Rooms were really tiny, one only the length of the bed and only slightly bigger than the width of the bed. Beds were not made on our arrival. Bedsheets were too small for the beds. Cleaning charges were high considering we were required to leave the cottage clean.

- Roy (10/5): Well worth the trip! - Location, cleanliness, cost. Only minor complaint was that they could have supplied oven mitts. Pretty low level complaint until you want to remove a pot from the gas stove or a pan from the oven.
- Mariah (4/5): Happy to go - The entire park is peaceful, cottage size was nice. Bbq and camp fire were nice There is absolutely no consistent hot water running in the entire cabin. Even with switching propane tanks, shutting the system off and on again, I still could not get 1 warm shower. You probably have 10 seconds of decently warm water before it’s freezing cold. Not a nice feeling when you come to the cottage after the summer heat is gone. I look forward to going home.
- Rai (1/5): - Nothing Beds were creaky and room didn't have space to move around. Bathroom was too small.we had to abandon our trip and return home.
- Cathy (10/5): We will definitely book here again and will recommend it!! - Great cottage! Spacious, clean, just loved it!!! Nothing bad to say at all about the property.
- doyle (7/5): - We really liked everything, until we went to bed,and maybe should tell your guests that they have to supply certain things before they booked the stay. Beds were not comfortable at all, and was surprised that we had to supply toilet paper and towels. If I new that before booking I would have went to a motel.
- Mario (10/5): - We dis not have blankets
- Aziza (1/5): Indian owner was disrespectful - Place and the atmosphere around was nice The bed sheet was left untidy and one of the sheet was burnt from the previous users. And the owner came and blamed that on us.No one in my family smokes and the whole time we were in the next cottage with our family.
The guy was very disrespectful to us , when he showed the sheets that he brought for change looked completely tidy and clean. And the once were left for us looked used.
Im sure her knew that just and wanted me to pay for someone else’s fault. He ruined all the enjoyment that my family spent in there.
I don’t recommend this place to anyone
- Annie (9/5): Super!!! - L’endroit était bien situé. Près de tous ce que l’on voulait visiter. Beaucoup trop de sens bon (air fresher) pas assez d’équipements en cuisine (pots and pans) ustensiles, etc…
Serviettes de bain devraient être fourni.
- Nameeta (9/5): It is a cozy cottage - Easy instructions
- Varun (10/5): - Good cottage. Looks recently renovated. Great for a family
- Kamel (1/5): Catastrophique .
Très mauvaise expérience, a ne pas refaire
- Shelby (5/5): - The property was in a little park which was cool. The beds were terrible. We had to put 2 more mattresses ontop of the bedroom mattress and even then it was barely bearable. The last night something started to loudly beep.
- Amanda (10/5): Nice mini vacation - This was a nice little cottage. We had 2 bedrooms for our family of 5 and we were comfortable. The couch pulls out for a forth bed. The kitchen had all the basics. You will need to bring your own towels and toilet paper, although they supply enough for a day. Bedding/pillows were provided. There is hot water for 10 minutes, wait 30 min and you get 10 more minutes of hot water. Even with our family of 5, this wasn't an issue with some planning.
The only downfall the temperature in the cottage. We had no control. The AC was blasting at 70, I had to cover vents, it was freezing-making it uncomfortable. At night the AC was off, making it very hot. We complained the first day about being cold but nothing was done. They said the furnace will freeze (?) if they turn the temp down. They do supply fans and a space heater.
This is in a trailer park, lots of families and no privacy. But I didn't find this to be much of an issue, no one bothered us. There was a fire ban but they were selling wood and allowing fires.
The 2 pools were nice, one was heated. 15 minutes to the falls and to niagara on the lake. Plenty to do in the area.
- Marina (7/5): - The location is quiet and relaxing.
The beds were comfortable, and the living area was spacious.
AC worked very well. Bare minimum kitchen supplies, but we were able to make ot work.
Bathroom is quite small as.is the second bedroom.
Neighbors are close, it's not a private cottage. Everyone was friendly.
- Nelson (10/5): -
- Monika (10/5): - Lovely campsite, great value.
- Jorge (10/5): -
- Christina (10/5): - Family friendly, with a great heated pool, in a nice location.
- Yvette (6/5): - Loved the cabin, nice and clean with plenty of space for all 5 of us to sleep comfortably. Some pots and pans provided as well as a baking sheet, basic utensils , coffee cups, some plates and bowls, coffee pot and kettle. I definitely would have gave it 5 stars if it weren't for the issue with the air. Went it, reset the box like the paper said and nothing, went out, came back and it was on again but I had to flip the breaker 4 more times and it was 30°C over 90°F. We were all roasting and when it finally came back on the kids literally laid in front of the vents. Also couldn't go in the big pool, said capacity was 60 people and the 5 of us would not have put it over. After an almost 4 hr drive that would have been refreshing but didn't happen. Our time was awesome though, saw some great sights, went to a Waterpark, saw Niagara Falls always awesome and went on the boat tour. Like I said had it not been for the issue with the air and only 1 tiny ceiling fan that barely did anything I would have given it 5 stars. Nice cabin, beautiful area
- Breanna (4/5): - “This place stinks like cooked broccoli!” — my 4-year-old’s unfiltered first impression summed it up perfectly. This was our second and final stay at Falcon Cottages. While the pool and grounds are spacious and wonderful for kids, the cottage itself is plagued by a strong, unpleasant odour that hits you immediately and never goes away.
The smell seems to come from several sources: stagnant water in the bathroom (the shower fills with it before draining), a broken tub stopper that meant my child couldn’t take a bath, and a persistent under-the-sink odour that even a toddler couldn’t ignore. Hot water runs out within 5–10 minutes, the bottom bunk mattress is barely 1.5 inches thick with a splintered board underneath, and ant traps throughout the unit didn’t prevent ants from appearing on the kitchen counter and living room floor. Turning on the oven released yet another foul smell, making cooking unappealing.
While the outdoor amenities are great, the cottage itself feels neglected and in need of serious maintenance and foundational upgrades. Between the persistent odours, discomfort, and lack of a truly clean living space, we won’t be returning.
- Daniella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lilit (10/5): - Good place to stay
- Staci (4/5): Disappointing - Location, amenities Lots of ants, door didn’t lock, not enough hot water to shower
- Elizabeth (6/5): - The mattresses are very poor, both of us had back aches from the beds. The termosyat is locked and set at 70 degrees, and got stuck the first night, had to have the maintenace person turn off the air conditioning, then turn it back on in the morning. It seemed to cycle on and off ok after that, however 70 is too cold. The hot water ran out the first night after 3 minutes so was able to get the shapoo out but not able to do conditioner, same thing in the morning.
The park was ok, had a problem with the pool so only able to use it 1 day.
- David (10/5): Awesome cottage - Beautiful cottage, quite spacious and had all the amenities. Was very clean. Beautiful pool and play area for kids. Location was amazing. All was great.
- Terence (10/5): - Excellent for a family, great location, very clean.
The beds are a little lacking but did the job.
Important to note you need all your own towels.
- Luciana (9/5): Falcon - The place is great. The location is perfect. Great pool, playground perfect to stay with the family The pool opens only at noon. We couldn't enjoy our last day at the pool since the checkout is 11.00 AM
- Gloria (8/5): Very good -
- Carrie (10/5): Great location! - We had a great stay! We had a quick one night trip and we would have loved to stay longer! This resort area is great! The kids loved the pool, the store was nice and the entire kept up well.
Only complaint which echos some other reviews is the water is cold within minutes for the shower, however we are used to camping and expected it but these models are so large seems like a bigger hot water tank would come with them. That wouldn’t stop us from staying again. Great place!
- James (10/5): a taste of cottage life! - Everything was great, it would be an excellent place to stay with a family while exploring the niagara region, we came a little underprepared as we flew in cross country and just needed a larger space, but we had the basic needs and there's enough close by. I'm glad we noticed that they don't supply towels or toiletries, which was easily remedied. The kids loved the sports courts and pools and the staff at the gate were super friendly and helpful thanks again for a lovely time.
- Funda (2/5): - All teflon pots and pans were scratched and were in unhealthy condition. Additionally, board games were teared, salt&pepper bottles were empty/dirty. Because of the above issues we were quite unhappy, stressed and frustrated during our stay. When we contacted with the Welcome Center they notified that they are not responsible about the pots&pans and we had to cook in that unhealthy ones. Falcon does not worth it to pay that amount for 2 nights. We feel like scammed.
- Heather (10/5): - Great location, all amenities provided, clean and comfortable
- Verified traveler (2/5): If your family likes cold shower - No hot water
Uncomfortable beds
It's more like camping at the price of 3 stars hotel
- Antonio (5/5): Half Satisfied. - Location & cleanliness I didn't like I was charge for CLEANING and yet I was told to throw away the garbage and fold all the bed Linens.
- Diane (8/5): - First time staying in a mobile home and it was lovely.
- Kelly (6/5): - The park, pool, and splash area were clean. The staff were friendly.
- Amanda (8/5): - Our stay was fantastic! This cottage was everything we needed for the trip, and kept us cool during a very hot stay. When we ran into some small issues, the owners were very responsive, and helped us resolve them right away!
- Fany (5/5): Bad experience for a 1 night stay around Niagara - Location close to Niagara Cottage 203 : Overall very dirty (bed sheet, dishes, barbecue). Very minimal equipment, no towels.
Mattress in bad condition with lots of stains and not confortable at all.
- Nancy (9/5): Superb -
- Bellamy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anya (8/5): - We loved our stay and plan to come back
- Neelabh (9/5): The property had a really relaxed vibe. I loved the cozy, neat, and clean space — it was well managed and comfortable.Ou - I loved how cozy, neat, and clean the place was. It’s clear that the property is well looked after and thoughtfully managed. Nothing as such..
- Diane (8/5): Very good -
- Chen (7/5): Good - Location, amenities, cleanliness, ability to bring my dogs N/a
- Lauryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (8/5): - Quiet and clean. Personable owners.
- Lavesh (10/5): - We very much enjoyed our stay at falcon cottages and would love to return.
- Charles (8/5): Very good - I liked how neat and clean the entire property is and it’s quiet. Doesn’t seem to have lots of party people. And it’s a beautiful environment. I think property should provide towels, and they should also provide cleaning utensils such as brooms or mop
- Alexis (10/5): - Wonderful place to visit with the family and kids.
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Breanna (10/5): - Loved it
- Luca (10/5): - Great little cottage.
- SMITHA (8/5): - Nice amenities, small cottage, rooms are not big enough
- maranda (8/5): - The 1 thing that was sort of annoying was the banging because it's harvest season&the birds lol
But we were busy. The bed was horrible, but otherwise it was great. Basic towels would be helpful, but there were paper towels &the $store wasn't far.
The people were extremely friendly! The cottage was clean & provided everything to cook a home meal! It was a pleasant stay! We'll definitely go back!
- PANDIAN (6/5): Average place to stay - Overall a very good experience but two things I am not satisfied is that, hot water got done in 5 minutes and we had to manage with cold water. Garbage disposal is on the far end which is very inconvenient
- Perri (6/5): Falcon Cottages Flunked Out. - I canceled reservations at Vine Ridge due to towels and bedding not being provided. I booked Falcon Cottages because you had an 8.8 excellent rating... only to find out that IT'S THE SAME PROPERTY SITE AS VINE RIDGE AND YOU DON'T HAVE TOWELS EITHER. There was a ring around the tub... but maybe it was permanent. I didn't shower. One in our party tried, but the water was hot for 1 minute, then turned cold. We left a day early out of our 2-day stay and couldn't be refunded.
- Sue- Ann (8/5): - Value was good for the money. Towels only by request was unusual as well as the request to make your own bed and fold your sheets after use. Overall spacious and easy check in and out.
- WALTER (10/5): - Excellent stay , beautiful decking for beverage ‘s , very comfortable
- Jennifer (10/5): Short one night stay… nice to come to a spotlessly clean cottage😊 -
- Andrea (8/5): Very good - It is a great space and location to stay with family. The sleeping quarters are not the best for 4 adults.
The main bed was very comfortable. The bunk beds are not comfortable at all, and neither is the pull out couch.
- Dorothy (8/5): We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the close proximity to Niagara on the Lake - Liked the full kitchen and living area - great for relaxing in the am. Also enjoyed the decks as weather was very nice Kitchen could have used a few more amenities i.e. baking sheet, dish towels
Would have liked to have towels provided but recognize we were told in advance they needed to be supplied
- Robert (10/5): - Great location if you want to do some bike riding along the Niagara River, or wine tasting. Unit was well equipped, loved the deck and the bbq. Only downsides are the lack of television reception and the A/C was too cold and could not be regulated. O/w we really enjoyed the accommodations and would recommend it.
- Asto (5/5): Passable - Close to the old town and wineries The neighbors party all night with loud music on their balconies, the walls are paper thin.
- Sandra (6/5): Pleasant - Location was great. Space was very good for my family, very comfy. Hot water heater did not work, after numerous attempts to fix. Had to take cold showers, very disappointing.
Mattress in Master Bedroom, needs to be changed, extremely noisy when there is any movement.
Invest in Firesticks for TV, this way visitors can log into their own streaming accounts.
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Lynne (7/5): Good - We liked the fact that we could contact the person by phone. We would have liked to have tea towels, bath towels, wash cloths. We happened to have some because we are camping out some of the time.
- Irma Joan (10/5): - We had an amazing 1 night stay at the cottage. Very peaceful and short drive to the falls. We'll be back for sure in the summer.
- Leah (8/5): - Convenient location for getting around wine country and Niagara. Great layout.
- Esther (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (10/5): - Perfect place to stay for any couple or family looking to explore Niagara Falls. The pool, cottage, deck, outdoor furniture and BBQ were all great additions we enjoyed a lot that you definitely can’t find everywhere. Will definitely stay here again if we come back!
- Barbara (10/5): - Enjoyed staying here. Will be back. Only one lamp in whole place.
- Judit (8/5): Pleasant. - Pet friendly N/a
- James (6/5): - Overall it was nice and just what we were looking for. Unfortunately there was a problem with ants in the kitchen and they got everywhere.
- Sharyn (5/5): It was ok. Nothing special to welcome the guests. - Not applicable It would have been lovely to meet the Hosts as the receptionist implied.
- Lene (6/5): Decent family - One of the money budget friendly option in the area, but also pretty old and basic.
It is a basic house wagon with a shared pool and playground and not much more Basic comfort, old appliances and furniture. Lot of ants in the kitchen
- Amber (9/5): Great place to bring your family - We loved all the amenities, 2 pools, sports courts, the store had very good hours and a variety of things to purchase.
Park offered events for all guests
Rooms were comfortable and stocked with clean stove fridge microwave and bbq and utensils as well as plates/cups
Wifi is great
15 min drive to the falls
8 mins to grocery/stores The kitchen was FULL of ants, traps did nothing
The booking shows pictures of many different stays, so we were not sure which place we would end up in
Our stay had the worst outdoor chairs, I would recommend bringing your own folding chairs
They also "lock" the ac control so it did get chilly
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Micheline (10/5): A friendly small community feeling conveniently located. - Conveniently located in a beautiful well-maintained resort with many amenities. Very big covered deck a plus. The main bedroom bed needs to be upgraded.
- Ridha (10/5): Relaxing stay - A very good camping style stay , though I do not understand why it is called a hotel when no toiletries or towels are ptovided and you need to clean the dishes and dispose your own garbage, I also wonder about the high property fee almost as high as a one night stay which has made us change our mind of extending our stay. The area is a gem , the town is hospitable and everyone can find and enjoy their favourite hobby or activity.
- Roxanne (10/5): Exceptional -

- Kate (8/5): - This property was nearly perfect. It was clean and exactly as described. The only drawback was a squeaky bed in the primary room. Every thing else was really great!
- Jodi (10/5): - Very cute and quiet cottage community. Our cottage was nice with a great layout. The cottage was super clean and comfortable. We loved it and absolutely would stay again.
Only complaint we have is real mattresses on the bunkbeds would be awesome instead of the thin ones.
- Dee (9/5): Superb -
- Xanthe (8/5): Great value for the area. A good location if you are going to NOTL for a night of plays. - The location was good for visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was great value as so many places in the area are outrageously priced during the Shaw Festival. This was great option. It is not a 'cottage' per se, but a stationary mobile home. It was spacious for three people (I went with my two elderly people) and the camp area was very quiet. The beds in one of the rooms (with a bunk bed) were not so comfortable. The mattresses were a bit thin.
- Jessica (9/5): Superb - It was a really very cozy, beautifully furnished cottage. The cottage was clean. The whole area was beautifully laid out and very quiet. I can recommend this cottage with a clear conscience. A tiny little minus point for us were the bunk beds for children. The mattresses were very thin and overall the bed was very hard. However, we would rent the cottage again at any time.
