• Knievel Farikai (7/5): Servicing the room will make it better especially for long stays - The rooms were clean and we loved the 2 bedroom set-up including the equipment to make our stay easier. Also very close to Rosebank shopping mall.. a 2 minute walk The early morning noise from the street by the public and e-hailing taxis
• Meagan (1/5): Complete disappointment 😞 - Absolutely nothing I’m honestly very disappointed—this stay was a complete waste of money and definitely not worth what we paid.From check-in, I was already annoyed. The staff and overall service were extremely poor. The team at The Vintage communicated in a way that made it feel like they were doing us a favour, rather than providing a service we paid for. It was unprofessional and frustrating right from the start.Communication on WhatsApp was slow and inefficient. Responses took far too long, and the instructions for key collection were unclear and did not match what was actually communicated. This made the check-in process unnecessarily annoying..Check-in is listed as 15:00. We initially requested an earlier check-in, which was declined, and we accepted that 15:00 would be fine. However, upon arrival, the inspector informed us that head office had noted our check-in as 15:30—something I never agreed to. This lack of coordination and communication is unacceptable.When we finally got into the unit, the issues only got worse. The drains in the bathrooms were blocked, the guest bathroom shower did not work, and the entire apartment had an unpleasant smell. Initially, we thought it might be from cleaning products, but the smell never went away. To make matters worse, there were cockroaches in the unit, which is completely unacceptable.The beds were extremely hard, and the pillows were very uncomfortable. I woke up with a stiff neck, body aches, and a headache after the first night. I could barely sleep. For the price paid, basic comfort should not be an issue.After the first terrible night, I requested to either be moved to another unit or be refunded so we could book into a hotel. Instead of addressing the full extent of the issues, they simply sent someone to unblock the drain as if that would solve everything. It did not.There is also constant noise from cars passing up and down, which makes it very difficult to relax or rest..

• Mochela (7/5): very nice and refreshing - location was nice, close to everything. The mall is literally 2 minutes away. Struggled to get the key from the door box. host gave us a wrong code, we had to call seversal times before we could get the right code
• Faheem (1/5): pathetic & atrocious - Iv stayed at the vantage 18 times this year alone and this was undoubtedly the worst service and experience Iv ever had. I booked the room through bookings.com — payment taken immediately and only after check in does the concierge inform us of the room not being serviced. I was on crutches and came to SA for an operation, we informed the lady we require the rooms to be serviced as an absolute necessity and were informed that we didn’t “read the t&c’s” 😠 after losing that battle, with apartment managanent not remotely considering my condition, we were informed that room could be serviced the next day at an additional fee of R281, to which having no choice I accepted and agreed a time of 08:30am the next morning. the lady checking us in agreed & confirmed this to us. the next day (day of my operation) the room was not cleaned. on contacting propr we were no told that payment had to be made in advance the day before and cleaning of the roomed also confirmed before 5pm the previous day. pathetic & atrocious aren’t words strong enough and may stay was the most unpleasant experience. they couldn’t even assist us with towels on the second day. as I was on crutches, I used the far elevator as it was near red to the room and our vehicle. on Saturday morning, the day of check out, the elevator was not working. I had to use the longer walk and further elevator the day after a procedure just to leave. I can assure you I will never ever book with propr ever again!
• Dawn (6/5): Bit disappointed - 1. Good location 2. Fairly quiet 3. Comfortable bed. 1. The key pad does not work. Had to leave the key on table. Security would not accept the key even though Security handed us the key when we booked in. 2. No instruction for safe. 3. There were no instructions as to whether the flat was cleaned daily. 4. The shower and bathroom was not cleaned. 5. The cooker hood light was not working. 6. One of the ceiling lights in the entrance area is not working. 7. Disappointed that proper instructions were not provided
• Moosa (7/5): - Apartment was clean and spacious, nice bedroom and bathroom. The pressure for the hot water in the showers was very low. Also the parking bays for the apartment is very far from the steps and lifts and the apartment itself.

• Jonathan (5/5): Good location but this specific apartment main bedroom is very noisy from 5am - Location. Parking, and space. Main bedroom was VERY noisy in the early morning, at 5am taxis start honking their horns constantly, bad sleep quality… Also, I was at the apartment in the winter and it was extremely cold, there was no heater. The gas cylinder was there but not the heater…
• Zimunya (3/5): Great place, Horrible service at check in!! - It's at a great location right across Rosebank Mall with plenty of options for eating out and shopping. The service from the firm managing the place... Between a horrible check in experience where the time was changed 45 minutes before I was due to check in and finding the unit without electricity and trying to get it fixed, dealing with these people was a nightmare! The unit is cold as well, and the small heater provided isn't adequate enough to warm the place, nor did they offer any extra blankets in winter.
• Makhosi (2/5): Not pleasant at all. - Location was great Didn’t look exactly like the picture, there was no carpet. Couch & TV too small. There was a gas heater but it didn’t work, when I asked for assistance I was told to contact prop call centre which is useless because they never help with anything. There was no water for 3 days of my stay, prop didn’t even offer some 5L water just to flush the toilet, had to buy on my own. When water eventually returned it was cold until I left. the key was with concierge and they took close to an hour to come let me in. I had to wait in the cold and continuously call prop.
• Stanley (6/5): Convenient - Location was good and the check in staff was very friendly. The gas heater was not working and it was a cold day in Johannesburg. They did not have additional blankets to help . We called , they said they would bring and no one showed up .

• Vukani (8/5): Beautiful and clean apartment - Located within a minute to Rosebank Mall. Shortage of cutlery and pots. The pots need to be replaced immediately. They are no longer suitable for cooking food to be consumed. They are rusty.

• Anton (10/5): Excellent Apartment, great location 👍 - Great location, safe clean apartment, all appliances available and working, good streaming TV and free from loadshedding. Street can be noisy at times, communication from property management group was extremely inaccurate and frustrating.

• Celeste (7/5): Lovely weekend away - The apartment was lovely and very homely. Love where it's situated. Absolutely loved that you could walk to all the stores and restaurants. The night scene is amazing. The apartment did have some mould in the bathroom on the ceiling I thought that was very unpleasant especially for an apartment like that. The wifi is horrible. We could hardly if never use it. The building should be equipped with Fibre. The beds are not good at all. The mattresses are very hard.

• Sixolise (9/5): Lovely place, exactly like the pictures. Super clean, spacious and comfy. I mean, why do you need a hotel? Very affordab - Safe. You won’t have random people entering the property
• Lesoetsa (10/5): Very strongly recommended! - Perfect location. Central and walking distance to everything you need. The mall, gyms, a plethora of restaurants, vibrant with activity, nightlife, security, transportation (Gautrian, Uber, you name it), is all there. Close to other cities nearby, every direction. Very clean and accessible 24/7. Balcony allowing one to enjoy meals while enjoying evening breeze over a nice conversation. Very helpful staff, both day and night. Strongly recommended! The two-seater couch does not allow sufficient comfort, especially when one has company. There is enough space for a three-seater couch which I recommend. The TV is small with poor picture quality and sound. I strongly recommend a better TV.
