Frank (10/5): Een met de natuur maar voorzien van alle luxe🤩 - We zaten in een boomhut met jacuzzi en hadden uitzicht op de rivier. Prachtige omgeving waar je de brulapen hoort en de papegaaien. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en ze doen echt alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Je hoeft maar te vragen en ze regelen het. Het eten in het restaurant is top en de bediening zeer vriendelijk. Wat hebben we genoten en nogmaals bedankt aan iedereen bij Tiwemake. Alles was naar wens, alleen de jacuzzi had geen warm water, maar we hebben er toch ingezeten.

Pilar (9/5): Espectacular! - Nos quedamos en la habitación familiar, que es super cómoda y muy linda!!! La localización de la misma dentro del hotel es excelente pues queda cerca del restaurante, de la recepción y está metida en el bosque de la sierra. Además las guacamayas llegan a visitarlo a uno! hermoso. La cama super cómoda y la decoración en general preciosa. El personal del hotel muy querido y servicial. Los chicos que lo acompañan a uno a los paseos de tubbing y a la playa son queridísimos y conocen bien la región. Una única cosa a mejorar es revisar mejor el estado y qué tan completos están los utensilios de cocina de la cabaña familiar. Los cuchillos del asado tenían poco filo pero nos los afilaron muy amablemente en el restaurante. Y en general cuando llegamos la vajilla, vasos y ollas estaban empolvadas... no revisaron cómo estaban antes de llegar y las encargadas de la limpieza tal vez no revisan eso tan detenidamente porque no se usa tanto.
Jairo Andrés (7/5): Beautiful nature scape - spotty service - Beautiful place in the nature - amazing staff, very attentive every time, specially the two guys who served us at the beach bar - rooms clean and nice, plenty of activities to do - a bit pricey for the level of service A couple of things to improve: 1) They are building a new room, there was always noise, even for a morning massage we had at Sunday morning - which amazed us being Sunday and having all that noise in a relaxing time 2) We book a cinema at the beach plan, handled as a total disaster, left us waiting more than 30 minutes as they could not set up the experience, we ordered and pay for a specific wine and was given to other couple with no replacement possible in the activity as it was at the beach - not even an apology for the team lead 3) Boat rides to and from the beach are inconvenient, at limited times, pay only if at another time, not ideal

No puedes salir si no tomas este servicio de manera segura. Todas las actividades y amenities vienen con un fee extra. Básicamente pagas por tu cama y acceso al río. Por otro lado, te ponen problemas si quieres salir o volver a un horario que a ellos no les acomoda (después de las 9 pm). No lo recomiendo

Anibal (10/5): A magical tropical escape! - Tewimke was truly amazing and magical! From the boat ride in, to the staff and the rooms! A bit pricey for Colombia but you definitely get your money's worth! I want to say more but don't want to give away the surprises you will find when you stay at Tewimake! Truly an escape from the craziness of everyday life. You don't need to travel all the way to Bali or Thailand, just come here! 10/10!! If I had to be a bit picky about one thing it would be that the bugs were a bit annoying at breakfast so not sure if maybe the hotel could address that. We had to be constantly swatting while eating our pancakes lol.

felipe (6/5): Buena pero el ruido definitivamente arruinó gran parte de la estadía. - El diseño, los espacios, el entorno y la atención de el personal del restaurante. El ruido fue un problema constante durante nuestra estadía. Nos alojamos tres días y, en dos de ellos, tuvimos que soportar el ruido de la construcción de una nueva habitación, además de la presencia permanente de una decena de obreros y personal de mantenimiento realizando labores justo frente a nuestra habitación. En reiteradas ocasiones solicitamos al personal del hotel una solución concreta. Sin embargo, la única respuesta que recibimos fue que “en un rato terminaban”, algo que finalmente nunca ocurrió. Esta situación afectó de manera significativa nuestro descanso y la experiencia general en el hotel.

Gregorib (8/5): A fantastic stay for exploring the Tayrona Rainforest, but it is a little pricey. - Being located right in the middle of a rainforest and having direct access to the Don Diego River is a privilege few properties have in this zone. The restaurant and spa areas are really nice. Great room choices are available for all types of groups. While our room has a water leak from the AC, the management moved us to a different room to quickly address the problem. This action exceeded our expectations greatly and allowed us to taste what it is like to stay in one of the superior rooms in the property. The experience was absolutely marvelous. The staff were warm and helpful. Jose, Adrian, Camila, Mafe, Laura, Raul, and David made our stay a pleasant one. Cheers! While the food is good, the restaurant prices are high compared to similar hotels in the area. The sauna was experiencing some problems, so we were unable to use it. For the prices charged at the property, you expect they have all facilities and rooms operating at the highest level. No doubt this is something where there is room for improvement.

Patricia (9/5): Prachtig verblijf midden in de natuur - De ligging en uitstraling van het resort. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Mooie suite met zwembad, heel fijn in deze enorme hitte. Ik heb de eerdere recensies gelezen en moet zeggen dat ik de prijs van het eten mee vond vallen. Sommige excursies waren wel wat aan de prijs. Wij zijn gaan tuben over de rivier naar het strand (waar verder niemand was) waar de stoelen en parasol al voor ons klaarstonden. Er is wel een barretje waar je wat te drinken kon halen. Was erg leuk. We zijn ook een dag naar Tyrona gegaan, zonder gids. Het hotel had wel een taxi voor ons geregeld, de chauffeur stond bij terugkomst weer op ons te wachten. Het strandje bij de rivier is ook prettig. De ara’s bij het ontbijt waren ook prachtig om te zien. Ze zijn bezig met werkzaamheden op het terrein, meer huisjes aan het bouwen. We begrijpen dat dit overlast veroorzaakt maar hadden dit toch graag van tevoren geweten. Je komt daar voor de rust, wil de geluiden van vogels en andere dieren horen en niet, een groot deel van de dag, alle herrie die de werkzaamheden veroorzaken. Hoewel het verblijf zeker de moeite waard is, is het wel een behoorlijke uitgave en hadden we graag vanuit het hotel, vooraf, willen horen dat er werkzaamheden zijn en eventueel de optie gekregen om te annuleren.

Sina (7/5): - Sehr schönes Konzept mit einzigartigen Zimmern, mitten im karibischen Dschungel. Unser Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Pool dabei, was wir auch sehr empfehlen würden, da es keinen Gemeinschaftspool gibt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Bett sehr bequem, das Badezimmer war auch toll, in Summe eine sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung! Ganz besonders eindrucksvoll sind die vielen Papageien, die rund um das Hotel leben und demnach häufig zu sehen sind (unter anderem beim Frühstück). Der vorab über das Hotel organisierte Transfer vom Flughafen hat (letztendlich) gut funktioniert. Wir hatten das Gefühl, vor Ort etwas „ausgebeutet“ zu werden: Für alles wurde zusätzlich Geld verlangt, obwohl der Aufenthalt ohnehin sehr teuer im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Unterkünften in Kolumbien ist. Beispielsweise war beim Frühstück nur ein Heißgetränk und ein Saft inklusive. Jedes weitere Getränk musste bezahlt werden. Es gab keinen Wasserspender - Wasser in der Mini-Bar gab es teilweise auch nur neu auf Nachfrage und wurde am Ende auch in Rechnung gestellt. Das Restaurant hat hohe Preise (eher europäische Preise), bietet aber auch sehr leckere Gerichte an und der Service war grundsätzlich gut inkl. guter Englischkenntnisse. Am dritten Morgen mussten wir allerdings ewig auf Kaffee warten (> 30 min). Viel Alternativen für Mittag-/Abendessen gibt es nicht: Zum Hotel kommt man nur per Boot oder mit einem Buggy, im nahegelegenen Dorf haben wir nur ein „Restaurant“ gefunden. Die Kommunikation war grundsätzlich etwas schwierig - sowohl über Booking vorab, als auch vor Ort über WhatsApp. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass immer jemand anderes die neue Nachricht gelesen hat, den Kontext aber nicht kennt. So musste ich unseren Transfer bestimmt 6x neu vereinbaren, weil es nicht richtig vermerkt worden ist. Auch unsere Abfahrt am letzten Tag wurde nicht richtig gespeichert (falsche Abfahrtszeit). Zudem wurden 5 Monate vorab vereinbarte Preise für Transfers vor Ort erhöht. Zum Strand kommt man auch nur per Boot, welches nur zu bestimmten Zeiten fährt (jew. 2x hin und zurück täglich).

Christopher (7/5): Great activities and great potential but service could be improved - We stayed at Tewimake for our honeymoon. They have built a spectacular venue in the middle of the jungle. The activities are the highlight. The horseriding tour to the waterfall was incredible and the beach picnic and cinema were excellent too. The site is very scenic and there is lots of nature and beautiful birdsong The hotel has great potential but does not fully match the excellent marketing on its website. Hard as it may be given the remote location, for this price point and the promise of luxury needs to be matched by the delivery. The level of English spoken is poor overall and leads to miscommunication. Some of the activities listed on the website were no longer available and the food was good but not as high quality as other places on our trip. There is an element of computer says no whereas in a luxury hotel of this type you would expect the service to be more accommodating and flexible. There were stray dogs in the restaurant which was not ideal on occasions. The spa is good (we seemed to have the same massage regardless of what we ordered) but is up a steep hill. With a strong more professionalised management and catering team this could be a 5 star establishment. For honeymooners there are a fair number of families present. We didn't mind but may not suit everyone.

They communicated promptly through WhatsApp and provided incredible suggestions for activities, all with a smile. Additionally, they were eager to make our stay an unforgettable one. Jesus, Santiago, Juli, and Raul provided friendly service at the restaurant which has good food and great drinks. The romantic dinner is not to be missed. Dayana designed a unique experience on the beach worth every penny. The massages were excellent, done in a beautiful open space. The staff was welcoming, friendly and the property spectacular. This property is a must see. Be aware that you will be in nature, so be ready to see critters. Thank you Tewimake for all the memories. We left with our hearts full.

It’s not clear on here but they also have access by boat to a really remote beach where they have a bar and you can order food from the restaurant for lunch. Will be coming back! The only small snag is that the suite with hot tub listed on booking . Com is glamping and is not a suite. It’s much clearer direct on their website but the staff were so accommodating and helped us upgrade within an hour! Once we had moved rooms I literally couldn’t find a single complaint.

El desayuno muy variado y rico. Las opciones de comida ofrecida, estuvieron muy buenas. Nos quedamos en un glamping, solo recomendamos colocar repisas para tener lugar donde poner cosas.

Como el lugar era maravilloso y las personas que nos atendieron muy amables le pusimos entusiasmo y nos quedamos, pero encuentro que la información de lo que nos ofrecieron a través de su web y lo que realmente nos encontramos era una información que rozaba lo fraudulento El Glamping no era lo que contratamos como ya he expuesto anteriormente. Nosotros contratamos unas habitaciones de acuerdo con su descripción e imágenes. NO UN GLAMPING
