• Marie Belle Le (10/5): - Near every thing. Is a cozy place, excellent breakfast and lunch. For dinner there a lot of places nearby. Have fun all day and have a good night sleep, everything is clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. I will come back again in the near future.

Our room was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfasts included with our stay were excellent... the best breakfasts we had during our vacation! The hotel is located on a quiet street. We will definitely stay there again.

The bathroom and design was very modern and sleek. The included breakfast was worth much more. Many choices and made to order. Great fruit. The people who work there are charming and extremely helpful. They made me feel like I was soming home every day. Even though Medellin has moderate temps I appreciated the efficient air conditioning after a long day of walking. Very good value for the money!

Le lit est incroyablement confortable, un vrai plus. Le quartier est calme et tout est accessible à pied. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, avec un service personnalisé. Je recommande fortement les arepas, un délice ! Oeufs pochés avec avocat et arepas un délice! La dame chargée du ménage est très minutieuse et prend soin de vos effets personnels, ce qui est grandement apprécié. Après une journée chaude à Medellín, la piscine est parfaite : plutôt fraîche, mais idéale pour se détendre. Nous avons passé 4 jours dans deux chambres, chacune avec un design différent – et j’ai adoré cette variété. Je recommande vivement cet endroit

La cama súper cómoda, el baño muy bien. En general cumple con lo que necesitas, pero si esperas espacio razonable no lo vas a tener. El personal del café podría ser mucho más amable.

Big hotels with big names are nice but a family owned modern boutique hotel is definitely a better and more personable experience for friends and family. I hope people come here rather than a Hilton because they won’t give you the same care or attention that this hotel will :)

• Verified traveler (6/5): Schönes Design, leckeres Frühstück aber mit Makeln - Die Zimmer zur Straße haben sehr dünne Fenster und man hört nachts ein Hostel gegenüber, die Bar im Erdgeschoss (am Wochenende) und einen Lüfter auf dem Dach (Zimmer Lombok). Die Türen sind ebenfalls sehr dünn und das Licht vom Nachbarn scheint herein. Design ist sehr schön mit Echtholz und gedeckten Farben. Bett sehr bequem und Frühstück super. Im Zimmer gelegentlich Gestank vom Abfluss. Lage sehr gut, sicher, nah an Restaurants etc. ohne mitten drin zu sein. Metro 10 min zu Fuß.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect room for 1 person. - Luxury Closet. If you're traveling alone, this may be ideal. The unit we stayed in was their smallest and the bed touched the walls on both sides! There was no mirror outside the one in the bathroom and my fiance was forced to get ready in a foggy, humid bathroom. The room decor however is eclectic and modern. The a/c and hot water were both great not to mention the breakfast that's included and the great location. Lastly, we would encourage the hotel manager to paybclose attention to the sides of the bed. Nasty items have slipped down in there over time.

The lovely Tatiana and Alejandra, who assist in the mornings, bring an extra touch of warmth with their kindness and attentive service. In the evening, the café transforms into a sophisticated wine bar, complete with two knowledgeable sommeliers and an exquisite selection of bite-sized gourmet dishes. The location couldn’t be better—it’s centrally positioned near top attractions and two premier malls, Santa Fe and Oviedo. Iconic spots like Andrés Carne de Res are just a short distance away, along with vibrant rooftop lounges and a charming little bar around the corner. The hotel offers a variety of room sizes, ranging from cozy, intimate spaces to more spacious accommodations. • Dawn (8/5): No storage and small room. Nice staff - The hotel is clean and on a quiet street. The reception staff are lovely especially Laura. The room was very small. We had 2 coat hangers and nowhere to store clothes or suitcases. There is no waste paper bin. When we arrived the bin for collecting toilet waste was broken as was the safe. Both were repaired quickly. We were a bit disappointed as there was no space to sit inside

The breakfast that was included in our reservation would have been 30 dollars in the US. The chefs are friendly and amazing. It was the perfect space to get some work done too! Only one side of the bed has a table, light, and power outlets, bad for couples. Rooms are dark and so close to the reception desk that you hear every conversation outside. Room door is glass, so lets in lots of light at night and doesn't feel very private. Bathroom has no exhaust. No closet for clothes storage. Pool the size of a big bathtub. So unfortunately too many deal breakers to recommend.

The staff was extremely nice and really bent over backwards to make us feel welcomed from the guys in the cafe every morning to the gentlemen that worked the door every night. We were there four days and honestly it was a delight. A quiet exclusive little place away from mainstream hotels. Think of this as a bed and breakfast type place.
• Paul (10/5): - Very cute hotel just far away from the busy part of Poblado. Incredibly friend staff, delicious breakfast. Only downside to our room was that the bathroom wasn't closed off in the room and we were two of us (romantic).

• David (2/5): Making up Rules as they go - Was looking forward to my stay at Antipoda...room was a closet. Was told I was not allowed to have guests stay over. Asked where that policy was on the website. They admitted it was not on website. Charged me $50 for a guest. Asked me to leave hotel. Made up a refund amount, and paid my in cash!!! very shady.

• Kayla (8/5): - Stayed for 1 night. The hotel decor & architecture is beautiful! Breakfast was included for us and it was tasty. Staff is friendly. Only thing is our room was TIGHT! It was the standard but i wish it had some more walking room. Overall, loved the stay & would come back again :)

• naomi (10/5): - Very quiet and safe area. We walked to El Poblado quite easily but much preferred the location of Antipoda. Staff were very helpful in the lead up to and the duration of the stay helping arrange taxi and laundry service. They were always quick to respond on WhatsApp. The rooms are just how the look in the pictures. The bathroom is beautiful and one of the best hotel showers we’ve had. The bedroom is on the small side but nice, although nowhere to put your bags / suitcase. Breakfast is in the cafe which is part of the hotel and was a la carte which is much better than buffets you get elsewhere and the staff there are really friendly.

Este pequeño hotel superó todas mis expectativas y me brindó una experiencia memorable. Desde el momento en que llegué, el personal cálido y amable me hizo sentir como en casa. Me saludaron con sonrisas genuinas y siempre estuvieron disponibles para ayudarme con cualquier consulta o solicitud. Su excepcional servicio al cliente realmente fue más allá. El café Antípoda tambien resulto ser un maravilloso lugar. Los desayunos eran absolutamente delicios y con un ambiente perfecto para aquellas personas que desean trabajar con un café o reunirse con alguna amistad y disfrutar del menú. La habitación en la que me alojé era cómoda, limpia y decorada con buen gusto. La atención al detalle fue notable, lo que me hizo apreciar el esfuerzo que pusieron en crear un ambiente acogedor. La cama era increíblemente cómoda. En definitiva si regreso a Medellín no dudaria dos veces en volverme a quedar en Antípoda hotel.
