- Christelle (10/5): Séjour au delà de mes espérances , juste magique merci à toute l'équipe de cet établissement - J'ai tout apprécié: le cadre juste magique, une chambre de rêve , le personnel d'une grande gentillesse, un petit déjeuner et un dîner copieux et délicieux concoctés par un grand chef très sympathique qui prend plaisir à venir voir si tout va bien en salle.
- Luis Eduardo (9/5): Un lugar perfecto para pasar un buen fin de semana con tu pareja, al que vale la pena volver. - La vista muy bonita, el jacuzzi muy agradable, bonito y limpio, se puede usar el tiempo que uno desee, la cama muy cómoda, tenia muchos cojines, buenas cobijas, la comida y la atención del restaurante excelente, tienen cerveza artesanal, la iluminación de todo el lugar con todos los senderos las plantas y la naturaleza, todo muy bonito, las opciones de kayak o paddleboard para dar una vuelta por la represa fue muy divertido, te entregan chalecos salvavidas todo muy bien cuidado. El baño de la habitación ppal. de la cabaña estaba un poco deteriorado y el fogón eléctrico de la cocina no calentaba prácticamente nada, sin embargo esto no afectó la buena experiencia.

Wynajęliśmy domek na jeziorze który mial pewne minusy - beak bezpośredniego dostepu do łazienki z pokoju, sypialnia a antresolą była częsciowo otwarta, brak okna/drzwi przy dośc duzej ilosci komarów byl nieco uciążliwy. Woda w kranie nie była zbyt ciepła. Za to wielki plus za jacuzzi z ktorego chętnie korzystaliśmy. Chłodnawa woda w kranie, łazienka na zewnątrz pokoju.
- Isabella (10/5): Un lugar perfecto para desconectarse - Me pareció excelente la ubicación, fácil de llegar, cerca a la piedra. Las cabañas son PRECIOSAS, el colchón súper cómodo, todo limpio, todo funcionaba perfecto, la comida es insuperable, creo que cocina un chef profesional porque todos los platos eran espectaculares tanto en sabor como en presentación, el personal era super atento, es seguro porque hay gente 24/7 y una portería, hay parqueadero adentro, temo ir a lugares a las afueras pero es bastante seguro. La primera noche pusieron música pese a que según las reglas no se puede si no hasta cierta hora, nos tocó llamar al encargado para pedirle que hiciera que le bajaran, llamó y le bajaron un poquito… pero no deberíamos haber tenido que llamar, ellos deberían controlar eso y prohibirlo, es un lugar rodeado de mucha naturaleza y me parece irrespetuoso poner música en un lugar así. Leí aquí varios comentarios con respecto a la música y cuando llegue al lugar me dijeron que esa norma era estricta pero pues no lo es y debería serlo porque si no va a un lugar así es para descansar y dormir. No debería tener uno que llamar para que hagan respetar las reglas, deberían cuidar de que eso no pase.

- Daniela (6/5): Amabilidad del personal pero reportes después de la salida negativos que hacen no querer volver - El personal muy atento a lo que necesitábamos Realizando la entrega de la cabaña una de las toallas se encontraba con tinte y aunque nos advirtieron que esto tenía un costo en caso tal hicimos el pago por 85 mil de toalla pero al rato la toalla que nos entregaron ya no tenía el tinte que tenía en la entrega. Adicional , cómo a las 3 horas después de haber salido de allá con el chekin out aprobado nos escribieron para cobrarnos un vidrio que apareció dañado después de y un cable de la cafetera. Aca entendemos que después estos cargos no los pueden cobrar si la entrega quedo en condiciones.

La persona que nos recibió no fue muy amable. Me generó desconfianza. Adicionalmente no hay mucho espacio para parquear, y la entrada al parqueadero no es tan cómoda.

- Paola (5/5): Beautiful but don’t recommend this hotel. - Nature around and the design was nice The room is totally open to bugs, the owner is aware of the issue and offered a mosquito net after we complained. Be aware of charges for transportation, they corner you for payment without telling you in advance the price. Rude staff, don’t recommend after our experience. There was a rat visiting our kitchen every night and the WiFi would be on and off all day and they turn off at night. Restaurant food was average, kids hardly ate any breakfast, they would run out of one thing or the other when it was meant to be included in the breakfast plan. Cleaning wasn’t good at all, you could see they don’t ever clean the windows.
- Mara (10/5): - Simply an idyllic place, the villas are totally tuned to the surrounding environment where attention to decoration and details finish it up. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of landscape. Food was very good and well presented. Totally recommend this gem of a place
- Honee (8/5): Great place for pictures - Pros, if you are looking for great Instagram or social media pictures, this is definitely the place. The restaurant was beautiful, the food was excellent and the service was fantastic in the restaurant. We did not experience any of the problems we read about as far as water or the hot tub. We had hot water and the hot tub worked great! Cons, you will hear chickens at night, and you will hear your neighbors. The biggest con was that we arrived one hour early and our cabin was ready however we had to pay $25 extra just to get in one hour early which I didn’t really think was very good customer service as our room was ready. Overall, a very cute property and definitely worth the stay. We did get wonderful pictures here!

- Victoria (6/5): - After careful research, I chose cabin #5 which portrayed photos to be over the water. What I received was a handicap accessible cabin at the very top - on the same level as the parking with zero privacy. The view was partially obscured with trees and far from the water, unlike the other cabins below. I was extremely disappointed as this listing was not accurately portrayed. The service was interesting to say the least. We were told that there was no more drinking water to purchase (Absurd for a hotel). The next morning, I asked the host if breakfast was included, and he responded “do you not remember what I told you yesterday?” …Quite funny to hear on my vacation. Upon departure, I was confronted by the same host asking me if the stains on the towels were from our make up… Absolutely not! The towels were previously stained with what looked like rust/dirty water. It felt as though they were looking for something to try and pin on me. The experience was unpleasant and I felt somewhat antagonized. On a more positive note; the cabin ended up being a lot of fun. The view from the third and second floor were beautiful and the amenities were lovely. The kayaking was a huge plus! (Even though the host asked if we left the kayaks in the water?? Implying I lack enough brain cells to just let the kayaks float away) it was just a weird energy overall but we made the best of it. Make sure to bring your own water unless you don’t mind drinking sink water!

Customer service was top notch, we traveled with my mom and did not realize there were a lot of steps, they moved us to a different cabin without hesitation to make her stay more comfortable, also brought breakfast to the cabin. The surroundings are full of nature, my daughter was in love with their dogs 🌺.

- Noller (10/5): A beautiful lodge in a stunning location . - The breakfast was delicious . We ate in the restaurant too, nice food and lovely atmosphere and the staff were very nice . The hotel is a perfect place to relax We were slightly taken aback by the initial welcome , we were asked whether we had booked in the dog (we had) as soon as we got out of the taxi. When we were shown round the beautiful lodge we were told to pay for any damage that would occur during our stay. This was a slighly unusual approach and had not happened to us before . We did enjoy our stay though and all the room and the restaurant staff were lovely and attentive and made us feel very welcome and made up for the slighty awkward arrival .

- Monique (10/5): Hidden Gem 💎 In the heart of Guatape. - Ibuku was definitely a hidden gem 💎 in the heart of the Peñol region of Guatape. The space, views and restaurant was amazing and definitely 💯 more of what I was expecting. I had arnold who helped me the entire stay with transportation needs, and came to help on a very rainy night with a small leak… nothing major to stop from me enjoying this space and will return for a upcoming retreat! 1. I would suggest a bug net cover the bed at night so mosquitoes won’t fall in with the wind and rain, as the 3rd floor of the villa has a semi open air viewing space. 2. Santiago needs better training on how to be more polite to guest, he was very hard to deal with during check out. He literally stood outside the villa at check out 15 min before time and would not leave, he also tried to charge me for guest that did not stay the night (you must pay for additional guests and that’s not a problem) as they only joined me at the restaurant for dinner, and ONLY came my villa to see the space, and wait for the tut tut back into the center of the city which was an half hour wait, mind you during heavy rain. however it was the fault of staff member Arnold (my concierge) who told him to do so because he had a small crush on me and thought my friend that I told him will only join me for dinner was a boyfriend who I failed to register… NOT TRUE. So the confusion was definitely all his fault. I told him he must remain professional at all times and even if it was my boyfriend absolutely non of his business and completely unacceptable behavior. Mind you if I was trying to be shady why would I tell him they were joing me - I could have just snuck them in? It was a married couple, my friends who lived in the area that only joined for dinner, as my purpose for this trip was to check out several hotels in the area for an upcoming retreat we are hosting. Despite the small mistake of over ambitious staff, … we will use this space for our retreat! I want to add that Paulina the manager was absolutely amazing!!!! Just focus the staff on giving the guest the best quality experience as possible.

- Lyndon (6/5): Pleasant - The cabins were beautiful, and relaxing was great in the hot tub. The road is very steep to climb. The night becomes very dark. We had two reservations! When we arrived, they couldn't find one of our reservations in their system. They had booked the double room. The hotel dates didn't match those on the booking. This caused us some frustration, especially since they told us there were no more rooms available. Eventually, the hotel came up with a solution for this situation.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible Experience - STAY AWAY - Upon arrival at noon, we left our luggage with the staff and returned at 6pm, only to discover that cabana #3 was in deplorable condition. The room had numerous issues, including exposed electrical wires near the faucet. The real nightmare began when we found out that there was no hot water in the room. Despite attempts by a staff member to fix it at 10pm, we were informed that nothing could be done until the following day, so I had to shower in the restaurant's bathroom at 11pm. The next day, the hot water issue persisted, and we were forced to leave the hotel at 10am without having showered. Adding to our disappointment, the hotel failed to disclose that it is situated on an animal farm. Throughout the night, roosters crowed incessantly, dogs barked, and ducks quacked, making sleep impossible. To make matters worse, loud Colombian music blared until 3am from other guests and residents on the farm. In the morning, when we sought to discuss these problems with management, we were informed that Paula the owner was on vacation and they couldn't do anything. I reached out to her via text message, and she defended the animal noises as part of the "nature experience" and falsely claimed that the water heater was fixed. Potential guests, beware: do not be fooled by the attractive photos online. Ibuku Hotel is a nightmare waiting to happen, exacerbated by an owner who refuses to acknowledge or address legitimate concerns. Avoid this place if you value your vacation and sanity.

- Ann-margrett (9/5): Great bday stay - Great cabin with an exceptional view. The staff was super friendly and Pacho the entertainer provided a nice ambience in the evening. The hottub was really an extra touch. Although we knew beforehand that it was located in the middle of nature, we were a bit anxious to faĺl asleep, because we were scared for strange bugs? Insects or other animals to surprise us in the middle of the night. However....I must say that we did not have any weird visitors.

Since there's a chance you have to deal or experience them at night in your cabin. -The staff looked exhausted and overwhelmed.
- David (8/5): - The area of Guatape is currently experiencing a drought (“sequia”) which is no fault to the hotels and hoprfully this is temporary and gets sorted soon! The property is one of a kind and a great experience. It could easily fit 6 people and the hot tub was not a cheap one and really nice! Was so peaceful i almost fell asleep in it. The staff were also awesome and made me very welcome. The check in was very relaxed. However, there were definitely things that the property could do to fix my experience. The doors were just completely broken, where the handles on both doors came off the doors. Plus the free breakfast was limited to only a small and basic one (not like advertised). Smallest amount of cheese and fruit I have had during my trip in Colombia. I was also woken up by loud banging and the cockerels going off at 5am. It was these things that really prevented this from being a luxury stay and hopefully the hotel can sort these out.

The hotel looks like one in Bali. The employees were super friendly. The beds extremely comfortable the view spectacular. 15 minutes away from the Guatape town but easy access. The food was delicious. I would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend IBUKU HOTEL

- Libia Zulema (8/5): Lindo lugar aunque sin remodelación - El lugar está súper lindo, lamentablemente nos tocó un poco confusión en la habitación pero al final nos pudieron acomodar en una. Tocó mala temporada también ya que había mucho ruido por remodelaciones ( deberían avisar que están en este proceso para ir preparados) y por ruido en la noche de algún lugar q no ubicamos si era de otros huéspedes o de donde.
