From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. Irem greeted me warmly and personally escorted me to my stunning suite, her kindness truly set the tone for the rest of my stay. I was genuinely touched by the thoughtful birthday amenity that awaited me. Throughout my visit, Claudia and Margaux were incredibly helpful with concierge recommendations, making everything seamless and enjoyable. I also had the pleasure of meeting Isaac, the Director of Front Office, an absolute superstar! He was a joy to chat with and went above and beyond when I mentioned I’d forgotten my swim trunks. Isaac personally walked me to the Spa to help me find a pair so I could enjoy the pool. That level of care and attention to detail was remarkable.

Food service and decor of a very high standard. Stand out dishes was the braised beef and the vegetarian gnocchi dish. The wine section included a south Australian charndonet and a Chilean red. camia603 (10/5): The most incredible hotel in London - Stayed here twice and both times we were treated incredibly. Everything is extremely well kept and the rooms are spotless. They have a technology system in the rooms which makes everything easy to use such as the lighting, aircon etc. Also for the fitness people-The gym is probably the one of the best hotel gyms I’ve gone to. The staff are incredible and definitely make the experience of staying here top quality. We had the absolute pleasure of Angel looking after us and his name reflects his attitude and personality. He truely made us feel at home and well looked after. The location also is perfect. We hardly drove anywhere as everything is in walking distance.

L4265RUfrederics (8/5): Excellent in Many Ways but housekeeping was an issue - This hotel is in a great area near Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park, the lobby is beautiful and the rooms brilliant. They think of everything. I wish they were green in the rooms given this is 2025 and we should care about our carbon footprint. They have it correct in the locker room for the gym but not in their room bathrooms where they still have individual bottles for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Imagine the difference if they switched this. The staff are very nice and helpful and act like they very much want you as a guest. They have a varied menu for breakfast and the food was excellent but service could be a little slow although the staff was very nice. One problem we incurred was with housekeeping. For the first two days of our six day stay we asked for our room to be serviced during a particular range of time so we could work there as we had business in London. They told us it would be and we were greatly inconvenienced the two days and even had no service the second day. Should have been done and management did not seem to appreciate the extent to which it affected our stay and we had to work too hard for their attention to this and some consideration. Clearly a communication issue somewhere within the hotel but it should have not happened two days in a row. We have stayed in Peninsula hotels in Beverly Hills and China and this did not happen. Other than the housekeeping issue our experience was good and I think the hotel excels in a lot of areas.

PJG1966 (6/5): A disappointing first stay at the Peninsula - We booked the hotel for our anniversary and lunch with family on the following day. I had extensive dealings with the hotel before our arrival and my contact Antje was professional and understanding throughout. We had not stayed at the hotel before and were fascinated to see what it was like. A few days before our arrival I was handed over to a Customer Experience Manager who very kindly arranged a transfer to the hotel. I was really impressed by this courtesy as we had only booked a Deluxe Room and not a suite. The arrival transfer was excellent and we were welcomed to the hotel. We had requested early check in which is offered through Peninsula Time and thus we expected the room to be ready. Unfortunately it was not which was a shame. However it was how the hotel responded to this issue that made the situation worse. Firstly we were told our room on the 5th floor was not available and that we could either go out and come back later or wait. We were not told how long the room would take to be ready but figured it would not be long. We were escorted to the Lobby Lounge and basically just left there. No offer of food or drink. About 30 minutes later the lady I had been dealing with came over and said there was a room on the 1st floor ready. We said we had preferred the room on the higher floor as due to it facing the courtyard we were concerned if might be dark. The lady proceeded to say how she liked rooms on low floors, and that this would be a good choice. We said we did not mind seeing the room whilst waiting for the other one. A colleague of the other lady came along and also started saying how much she liked rooms on the first floor etc. We went to see the room, which was in fact a Junior Suite which was very spacious if rather bland. It was then that we were told the other room would not be ready for another 90 minutes and we felt quite pressured to take this room rather than waste the afternoon waiting for the other room. I had contacted the hotel manager who informed me we had only waited 10 minutes and were given ‘ample rooming options’ which I took exception to as it was not true. We had been offered this room or a long wait for the other one. To be fair when challenged he did apologise which was appreciated. The room had not been set up as per our requests so we had to leave the room whilst it was made up. We went to the bar and had a drink and £40 later the room was ready. However at bed time I realised the pillows were synthetic and not feather which meant I had a very poor nights sleep which was a real shame as the bed was super comfortable and the duvets lovely and light. I went to make a cup of tea in the morning but there was no kettle - I could have asked for one but my husband was sleeping and I did not wish to disturb him. A small thing I know but a shame nonetheless. Breakfast in the Lobby was disappointing with food undercooked and odd tasting scrambled egg and plastic looking bacon which was very undercooked. Service was not consistent and drinks not fresher or topped up. We asked for toast but it never arrived. The hotel is very impressive and you can see where the money has been spent although certain aspects such as the lamps looked cheap and the room layout was poor with the sofa being sideways on to the TV. The bathroom and walk in dressing room and the in room technology are all excellent. Lunch at Soleil was very good and service overall excellent. The rooftop setting and views very impressive. Prices are very high but I think given the size of the rooms and the location they are not overpriced particularly if you book in advance. It was just a shame that things did not go smoothly for us which took the shine off what other use could have been an enjoyable stay.

ianhW6756YP (4/5): Disappointing breakfast experience - Occasionally I’ll pop into the Peninsula for breakfast on a Sunday. Love the brand and have had very happy times in the HK and Manila hotels where the service is exceptional. But London was just disappointing. The lobby restaurant team seemed uninterested. The main breakfast was brought as I was only half way through eating the muesli, so by the time I started, it had begun to get cold. Which would have been bearable had the food not generally been disappointing - and the pastries near inedible. And at no point when paying, leaving or paying for the parking at reception was I asked if I enjoyed the experience. Come on guys, you can do far better than this - please send some of the team out to visit us in HK to learn about high quality service. The parking/valet team was exceptional though.

Newly constructed hotel, amenities are top (gym, spa, etc.) and very centrally located within London. Do have a drink at Brooklands on the roof, great views of the city. claudillita (6/5): Disappointing Check-In Experience – Won’t Be Returning - We stayed at The Peninsula London as we did last year in July. And, unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to expectations. We arrived at 1:30pm, hoping for early check-in as noted in our reservation. While we understand early access depends on availability, we were told 3:00pm, then 3:45pm, and then nothing. No follow-up or communication. We had dinner plans and had to get ready without a room. Finally, at 4:00pm, we were given our keys—no upgrade, just apologies. We were offered 25% off the first night as a gesture, which we appreciated, but it didn’t fully make up for the disruption. The common explanation was that the hotel was fully booked and housekeeping was short-staffed. While that may be true, the service still fell short of what you’d expect from a property at this level. That said, the staff we encountered were warm and attentive, clearly doing their best. The room—same as last year—was beautiful, immaculate, and packed with high-end tech, but I didn’t even bother with photos this time. Next time, I’ll return to my usual favorites—Rosewood or Kimpton—where the experience tends to feel more seamless and worth the price.

The attentiveness of the staff was exceptional and our needs was met with precision and a smile. The level of luxury is unparalleled and clear that every detail is carefully considered to provide guests with a truly luxury and indulgent experience. The facilities are impressive. The fitness center is small but amazing offering a serene atmosphere that makes working out a pleasure and the pool area is just as remarkable; an oasis of calm and relaxation. In addition, the utilities and amenities provided in the rooms were top notch. The attention to detail in the room's design, along with the high-quality toiletries and tech features made every aspect of my stay seamless and incredibly indulging. The Peninsula never fails to delivers on every front and is the perfect blend of upscale luxury and modern sophistication. I’ll definitely be returning!

The total decoration of the area is perfect. The standard of service is exemplary. It’s expensive but it’s not overpriced. The views are the best in London.
dwAustralia (10/5): As close to perfect as you can get. - This was our second stay at the hotel following a very impressive first visit last year. Having stayed at many of the 5 star hotels in London (and around the world) we made the easy decision to return to the Peninsula. The experience began before we departed Australia with the wonderful management team making several arrangements to elevate our experience. My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Peninsula. From the irreplaceable Ann who made every breakfast something special. Note, they remembered (from months earlier) our preference for coffees, a newspaper and even the table location. This was something not even the finest hotels have ever managed. Gavin and the concierge team handle any request with an immediate smile and calm "of course". In fact it is this 'can do' attitude that made my wife comment that she felt, not only safe, but completely cared for. My wife even rates the Spa amongst the best ever experiences she has enjoyed ..and this includes the best Spa's in Asia. Housekeeping was perfect ...in fact we found every touchpoint a wonderful example of how to live up to 5 star expectations. So few hotels actually do this. It says something about the quality of the Peninsula London that during a week at Villa D'este in Lake Como we actually missed the smiles and professionalism of our new London 'home'.

From the moment we arrived, every detail was perfect and exceeded every expectation. The hotel is the epitome of elegance and luxury. The service was impeccable from the doorman to the concierge to housekeeping, every staff member couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. A special thank you to the Hotel’s manager, Scott Berger, who was there to greet us when we arrived. His welcoming personality, personal attention and hospitality, made our stay truly unforgettable. He went above and beyond during our entire stay to make every detail perfect for us. The rooms are spacious and perfectly appointed as well as super comfortable. From the luxurious bed to the stunning bathroom that includes heated floors, stunning vanities, his and hers, but so much more. The intuitive in room technology was very easy to use and top-notch. Dining was another highlight of the Peninsula London. The presentation of the food was amazingly presented and beautiful. The staff was always right there to welcome us and seat us as we walked into the dining room. The servers brought everything quickly and to our liking, always wanting to know what else they could do. This was more than a stay, it was an experience we will not soon forget. The Peninsula London ranks as our favorite hotel of all time. We cannot wait to return!

We were greeted with the most memorable surprise… the Peninsular Suite! Just wow .. the service, attention to detail and staff friendly was first class! Gabriella looked after us from before we arrived, kept the surprises going as the family thought we were just coming for lunch! Birthday balloons were in the room, our favourite drinks and two birthday cakes!

Built from scratch, 30 years in the making-and well over 1 Billion dollars spent and it shows! The food choices are great, the service amazing and not intrusive-and the rooms are spectacular. (Esp. if you get a Wellington Arch view). It still has that new hotel feel. The Belgravia neighborhood has lots of fun shops and restaurants within a short walk, and the Hotel car(s) are available should you need a ride somewhere. We cannot wait to return.

Fantastic location. Free car service within 20mins. I could go on and on. Its actually the best Peninsula imo, beating even Beverly Hills and Hong Kong. Brand new. Phenomenal gym. Next to the park. Between knightsbridge and mayfair. Great room service. Excellent lounge area down in lobby to do work or socialize. Yes, it does attract a lot of the showy middle eastern money so if that bothers you try The Goring or something more WASPY. But in my not so humble opinion this is one of the greatest city hotels in tbe world.
I4112ZMmarcos (10/5): Very high standards maintained - I had the chance to stay again at the Peninsula after a very comfortable experience last year. Happy to report that the same high standards were maintained. This hotel provides a wonderful oasis of tranquility despite being close to almost any venue central London. The café has got to have some of the most decadent pastries in London. Staff were efficient and friendly, rooms are uber comfortable and I actually preferred the courtyard room this time because of its calm and serenity. One minor quibble - a really minor one - is that no bath salts were provided this time, which was a bit annoying considering the tub is otherwise so well appointed. Looking forward to my next visit!

Even when we encountered a small hiccup — a cold Sunday Roast — it was handled gracefully and without hesitation. That’s what defines true luxury: not the absence of flaws, but the intelligence and care with which they’re resolved. We left feeling not just relaxed, but remembered. Seen. Cared for. And that’s something only the best hotels in the world can offer. We’re already planning to return — and we’ll carry the memory of this stay with us until we do.
intrepidtravelerfla (10/5): Simply the best. - There is simply no competition for a true luxury stay in London. Having stayed at nearly every other 5 star hotel in the city over the years, the Pen sets the standard for a discrete, luxury adventure. The professionals that work there are simply the best. Accommodations refined and simply beautiful. If you want the best or nothing, the Pen is the only choice in London.
Tal (10/5): Great hotel - I’ve been to many hotels that cost thousands of dollars per night, and I consider this one as top 5 I ever been at. Great service, phenomenal attention to details and great material in the rooms. The only drew back is the food , which is mediocre at best, but since you are in London, there are more than enough options to dine out.
OGtraveler8 (10/5): Top notch hotel in every regard - Beautifully designed new hotel. The rooms are spacious, state-of-the-art tech and well done. Service is excellent (Martin and Gay in particular), the house car a wonderful amenity and Brooklands roof bar a nice way to wrap up with an evening cocktail. Solid city hotel gym and indoor pool, well located - an excellent stay!

Rachel (7/5): Some staff were excellent but unfortunately the spa team weren’t great - The room was great but the view wasn’t. We had hoped to be overlooking the Wellington Arch We came for Valentines weekend and we were looking forward to using the spa and pool together, but we discovered that the saunas were in the separate changing rooms and the men’s wasn’t working. This was very disappointing and when I asked a member of staff if there were shared facilities, I was told ‘no for cultural reasons’ I was quite surprised by this comment as this is London and the British culture does not permit couples sitting in a sauna together. The service of the breakfast was terrible and after 3 attempts we finally got the correct breakfast. It wasn’t great for the price, but the restaurant manager didn’t charge us as we had waited so long.
susanrQ8647ZM (10/5): Best stay EVER in London❗️ - Gorgeous facility and luxurious in every way. Staff continually greeting and watching after their guests. Our room was large and kept immaculately clean. The pool and spa were spectacular along with their services. Food service and restaurants were all top rate! Easy to get taxis to go everywhere in London. In particular the top doorman ANGEL made our experience even better. He looked after all of our comings and goings with great care!
