- annadA3639GB (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - HORRENDOUS THEFT - My suitcase which contained a priceless family heirloom was stolen from the Hotel while staff left it stored unsafely and in full access to the general public. I was forced to cancel my flight home to Australia and remain in London while I was left to unsuccessfully try and chase my suitcase across London in horrific circumstances.
Weeks later I am still chasing the Hotel to be accountable and I am thousands of pounds out of pocket. This is not to mention the distress the theft has caused me and my elderly relatives. Telling my Great Aunt of the loss of our family heirloom was gut wrenching. Management has left me chasing updates, dealing with bureaucracy and feeling completely invisible. I am shocked for a Hotel that advertises itself as luxury for such a pathetic response. I never write reviews but in good conscience I cannot let others considering staying at the Hotel not know the way paying customers are treated - and I was a returning guest! I have not even been offered a refund for a stay where the Hotel left my treasured possessions to be stolen.
If you value your belongings and safety, do not stay here!!

This hotel room was worth every penny, great breakfast every morning, included in the price!
Air conditioning in room, that was so welcome during the current UK heat wave, brilliant staff, good TV setup, very easy and powerful WiFi, room amenities that included complimentary drinks and snacks!
All the staff were absolutely wonderful, and they made us feel so comfortable and welcome. We would not hesitate to book this hotel again, just fantastic.
One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at.

- Charlie (10/5): We had a fabulous stay! - Great hotel, beautiful room and amazing restaurant!
- Adrian (10/5): - Lovely small hotel, decor and attention to detail were excellent.
- Carina (9/5): It felt like a home away from home. Quintessentially English. Would def recommend to stay there. - The location is amazing just off Sloane Square and it feels like you are staying with friends who own a townhouse. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. In partifular the nighty Sonja and the two receptionists Louis and Gareth. Annoyingly the fan in the bathroom was very noisy, thus I had to sleep in another room the first night and it could not be fixed, so I had to change rooms. However, Sonja was very kind and helpful (helped me pack, showed me different rooms).
- David (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed it . Lively to have access to the private gardens on Vado van place opposite . - It felt very personal and bijou .
Beautifully decorated and furnished Not so keen on Japanese themed food but that’s just me .
Was a little surprised the bar menu didn’t include sandwiches

It is a gorgeous hotel, with amazing attention to detail around all aspects of the experience. Beautiful interior design, perfectly sized rooms, incredibly charismatic and thoughtful staff. This is now hands down my favorite hotel in London. Can't wait to come back.

Staff so accommodating
Wonderful location Nothing
- Verified traveler (8/5): 2 small improvements would give it 5 stars! - Overall fantastic stay. To achieve 5-stars, I would greatly recommend to improve the following faults:
1. Check-out time is 11am, not the standard 12.
2. Toilet paper was of cheap gas-station quality. Far far from any luxury hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
- 624martinw (10/5): The perfect London Hotel does exist and it's Beaverbrook Town House! - Upon arrival our bags were seamlessly whisked away from the car, and we were greeted by the most wonderful team for check in and shown to our incredible suite. The decor was absolutely gorgeous and the room totally immaculate. The very highest of standards apply here and yet you feel at home and embraced like nowhere else. The only caveat, we've stayed at Beaverbrook too, so maybe the honours are shared? The service here is charming and professional so it all just flows and you relax and enjoy every moment. Waking up from the perfect nights sleep on the sumptuous bed and overlooking Cadogan Square is a delight. The breakfast was both plentiful and perfect. We've found our new London Home and a huge thank you to all the team for making it the best of times.
- Julia (10/5): The staff are so friendly and helpful - Design
- Faras (8/5): Very good -
- Arden (10/5): Best hotel I have ever stayed in! - This was my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at! The design was beautiful, the staff was warm and attentive the location was fabulous. I would not change a thing! Can't wait to go back! No notes- it was perfect!
- Kamal (8/5): A home from home with great staff. - Room was great, comfortable, able to open windows, complimentary food was very good, good housekeeping, the interior of the hotel was exceptionally done. Breakfast was good, but they charged for the juice which I thought was unnecessary. On 2 occasions the bed was not turned down. The Fuji Grill, the evening restaurant was not a 5 star dining experience.
- saraheworthington (10/5): Over night stay - We chose the Beaverbrook for the night prior to our daughter's wedding so we could all be together the hotel is fun, beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds and pillows and everyone friendly and welcoming we had a great time
- Audrey (10/5): - Outstanding property with its own private garden, fantastic breakfasts and restaurant and wonderful staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! The rooms were lovely appointed as well.
- Tamar (10/5): - I truly enjoyed my stay here. The establishment really paid particular attention to the details from the rooms to the service that made the entirety of our stay there amazing.
- Will (10/5): Excellent - Great location. Spotlessly clean. Very nice staff. Great breakfast. Nice room. Excellent all round.
- hwalk (10/5): Wonderful hideaway in chelsea - A delightful small luxury hotel in Chelsea which delivers colorful and comfortable decor, cheerful staff and a quiet respite despite being close to activity.
Our room was nicely sized and well-decorated. Kept clean and complete by the attentive staff.
We had a few breakfasts at the hotel, all of which were delicious and severed with smiles.
- TNDCRambler (10/5): Great spot in Chelsea - first class. - Beaverbrook is an outstanding hotel in Chelsea. Excellent accommodations and amenities with a top tier commitment to service and hospitality.
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (9/5): Comfortable but expensive - Location, style, The price is very high but given the location I fully understand the justification
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- DNayOhio (10/5): 5 Stars - Wonderful location, lovely room with a sitting area, awesome bath & shower, turn down service, very comfortable bed and linens and terrific and welcoming staff. In addition, the breakfast is delicious and the bar and restaurant top notch. Bonus was access to the private garden across the street. Will absolutely stay there again on our next trip.

- O2634DBjohnm (10/5): A weekend in London - Joe Hartfield and his entire team made our stay very memorable and we are looking forward to being back soon at the earliest convenience.
- Sascha (10/5): Lovely and truly exceptional stay in Chelsea! - Amazing boutique hotel in Chelsea. Every detail is taken care of and the people who are working here are truly exceptional. Our room was spacious, well designed and nothing was missing. The bathroom included a bathtub and separate shower. Everything looked completely new and more than clean. We had a great view and it was totally quiet - even during the day. Besides, I can highly recommend the a la carte breakfast, the bar and the Javanese restaurant in the hotel - you'll be surprised! There is truly nothing negative so say here. Maybe just that right now (April 2024) there is a construction side on the street going on. It wasn't noisy during our stay, but to be sure you might want to get a room looking in the courtyard.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (10/5): Couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. - Absolutely everything! Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. All the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable especially Trudy, Mark, Emily, Deborah and Sherwin... thankyou, we will be back! N/A
- Seki (10/5): - Interior design of bathroom is so nice.
I could stay comfortable night.
- RobinB3769 (10/5): Top Notch Boutique Hotel - Beaverbrook Town House has it all. As a design and history aficionado, the hotel well exceeded my hopes. My husband stayed for 6 nights and looked forward to arriving back to our beautiful and cozy studio suite each night. The hotel staff were the best of the best - especially Joe, the House Manager. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and welcoming as possible. He is a huge reason why we are already planning our next stay at Beaverbrook. And, the location in Chelsea is perfect. Very close to restaurants and shopping in all directions and a short walk to Sloan Square Underground.
- Julia (9/5): Very enjoyable. Would definitely return - Location and staff excellent. Loved the interior of the hotel. Room small
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Stay was perfect! Team were amazing!!
- Dominique (10/5): Exceptional -

- Laura (10/5): New gem in Chelsea. - The BB Townhouse offers a wonderful sanctuary in beautiful Chelsea. The staff are attentive and genuine and the townhouses are immaculate. I would highly recommend this property.
- Philoxenos (10/5): An incredible little gem with attention to the finest detail - Recommended by a friend, our initial impression of Beaverbrook Town House Hotel leaned towards the pricier side. However, enticed by its prime location on Sloane Street, we decided to give it a shot, seamlessly blending business with pleasure during our visit to the World Travel Market.
The hotel exterior conceals its true nature, resembling more of an expansive house than a typical hotel. Stepping inside, the decor unfolds theatrically, showcasing an inspiring commitment to detail. The rooms exude comfort, adorned with numerous thoughtful touches, such as a complimentary fully-stocked minibar and a well-equipped coffee station. The bathroom sparkled with cleanliness and radiance.
The reception staff consistently demonstrated their eagerness to assist. When a shoe shining kit was absent in the room, they offered to polish my shoes with their own cream. Politely declining, they promptly brought the cream to my room, epitomizing their dedication to guest satisfaction.
Breakfast was a delight, particularly as we were on a bed and breakfast basis, granting us the freedom to select anything from their exquisite à la carte menu. The culinary experience further elevated our stay, leaving us thoroughly satisfied.
In summary, Beaverbrook Town House Hotel is a true hidden gem in the heart of London. Its commitment to excellence, from decor to service, creates an unforgettable experience, making it well worth the initial perceived expense. We look forward to returning to this haven of hospitality on our future visits.
- Anonymous (10/5): Fabulous hotel - Fantastic location Nothing
- lucyf643 (8/5): 24 hours in London - A great hotel but quite "punchy re cost for a night - we felt it just "lacked" something..... It's perfectly situated though and has a nice ambience when you walk in. The room we had was lovely but the noise of hoovering outside it first thing in the morning was a little irritating. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and was included in the" price of the room, which we feel is always a plus point when booking to stay in a hotel.
- damorris25 (10/5): Happy to stay here every time we're back in London - Incredible stay at Beaverbrook Townhouse. We loved the location, the property, and the atmosphere. The staff, led by Joe, were top notch - warm, attentive, and helpful. We will happily return to Beaverbrook on our next trip back to London.
- champagneferguson (10/5): The perfect small London Hotel - Always a warm welcome on arrival at the Beaverbrook Town House. My first visit was when the hotel first opened and I would not stay anywhere else in London now. Small details are remembered by the staff, like extra magnifying mirrors. The rooms are lovely, so colourful and full of humour. Excellent bathrooms, where everything works ! Breakfasts have a great choice and caters for all diets. Unlike many hotels, where one needs a degree to work light switches etc. the Town House is practical and simple. The hotel has a very homely feel and all the staff are lovely.
- SicilyAbound (10/5): Stunning stay - Such a beautiful hotel away from busy Central or West End London. A refreshing difference to all the plush chain hotels. I just didn’t want it to feel like a business trip, and this hotel didn’t disappoint. My room was on the top floor and was nice and quiet. Stunning design and super comfortable. Emily was such a welcoming host, the Sushi restaurant was SO tasty - incredible food - and despite the roadworks down the road I actually didn’t hear anything until I checked-out the next morning. All the staff were polite and welcoming. I’d love to come back.
- Julie (9/5): Loved the hotel. Experienced a glitch. - Location, private but communal garden. Room. Will return but ate out at Daphnes as didn’t fancy just Japanese options. Requested breakfast on terrace outside. My order got lost. Disappointing
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heinz (10/5): Exceptional -
- neastw104491 (10/5): Stunning hotel in every day - Our stay at Beaverbrook Town House was absolutely perfect, we absolutely loved everything about our stay and can't wait to come back. Great location, generous room, fab decor, food was excellent. Thank you.
- Eileen (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel - Beautiful decor, room comfortable and well equipped, nice coffee and treats in the room, excellent breakfast, good location. Were not greeted personally at check in or any other time.
The food prices in the bar were poor value for money.
- James (10/5): Perfect, gorgeous hotel. - Everything. The hotel was exceptional and we absolutely loved it. We can't wait to go back soon.
- Richard (10/5): Brilliant. - Wow, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left it was excellent. Fabulously located for Chelsea and absolutely spotless, room exceptional , staff awesome, food lovely. Whilst the Japanese evening food experience was great I feel a slightly broader restaurant menu would enhance this super hotel yet further.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anouchka (10/5): Lovely. - Such a Cosy, beautiful hotel. Room are so pretty and big for London standards, location is perfect. Small improvements in the F & B , and coffee could be better and should be served in a pot/cafetiere . But small things that can be easily upgraded.
- Clea17 (10/5): Chic, top-notch hotel in lovely peaceful neighborhood - Stayed here for a week and was delighted with my stay.
Lots of character and sense of place to the hotel. I loved the decor (each room is named for a London theater and filled with unique theater memorabilia like vintage posters). My only complaint is that the lighting system for the rooms is unnecessarily complicated: I would have appreciated one-touch settings like "night time" rather than having to sort out each of the many lighting fixtures individually from the control pad.
I've stayed in Chelsea before and this visit reaffirmed for me why I enjoy staying in this part of London: it's quiet and peaceful but you're not far from museums and other sights. I also really like the proximity of Beaverbrook Town House to Pavilion Road, a charming pedestrianized street filled with wonderful cafes and restaurants. Beaverbrook Town House has the added benefit of having access to the gated, private gardens in Cadogan Place which are lovely places to picnic, sit, and stroll.
I had one room-service dinner and thought the food was very well done. The menu is all Japanese, which I enjoyed but perhaps might not appeal to all visitors.
All in all, very satisfied with my stay and would return and recommend.
- WiltonL1999 (6/5): Expensive for the quality of food you get. Beautiful place. - A beautifully done up hotel, love many of the Fuji Japanese prints, tastefully done. Service generally nice. Invited for dinner, we’ve been before, we were disappointed with the food. The spinach salad was soggy, the sea bass skin was supposed to be crispy it wasn’t, it was moist. The cocktail wasn’t chilled, sent it back came back the same. At these prices around £100 per person you’d expect better quality all round. Will stick to the great Japanese, so many in town.
Shame because the immediate area needs a great Japanese.
We’ll go again because often nearby, hope it improves.
- Dahan (10/5): Exceptional! - I can’t say enough about this wonderful location. From the decor to the staff to the excellent breakfast, we had a stellar stay that exceeded our expectations. Joe and his staff went out of their way to assure our comfort. We were truly spoiled. Looking forward to our next visit! Everything is perfect!
- Anvisha (9/5): Superb -
- Liza (10/5): Exceptional - Such a great location for walking to Kings Road and really nice quiet room. The breakfast was wonderful, plenty of choices from healthy to indulgent.
- Christine (9/5): A lovely break, homely but also glamorous , welcoming but professional attention to detail - The decor is fabulous, like entering a special world, cosy, friendly and pampering. Food was good, service s little slow but very attentive. Really nothing - maybe the bathroom lighting made it difficult to see in the mirror
- Sacha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tadayyon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (10/5): What a gem! This hotel had it all - a great location, excellent t service and lovely rooms - The location
Very helpful and friendly staff
Delicious cocktails
Fantastic breakfast
- Jolene (10/5): Exceptional service in a hidden gem of London - Fabulous location but also so quiet. We loved the breakfast choice and the decor throughout the hotel. Cocktails on the terrace were also fab
