Boekhoudt (1/5): - none A la atención de la Gerencia del Hotel Versus Poblado, Medellín, Colombia Estimados señores, Me dirijo a ustedes para expresar mi profunda preocupación y molestia por un incidente grave que ocurrió durante la estadía de mi hermano Marnick Boekhoudt en su hotel. El día 27 de julio, mi hermano, quien estaba muy emocionado por visitar Medellín por primera vez, fue segun nuestros sospechos en visto las síntomas intoxicado y posteriormente robado mientras se hospedaba en el Hotel Versus en Poblado. Debido a este lamentable hecho, no pudo disfrutar a lo máximo de sus vacaciones. Nosotros pensábamos que su hotel era un lugar seguro, por lo que jamás imaginamos que algo así pudiera suceder. Sin embargo, las circunstancias apuntan a que podría tratarse de un acto interno cometido por un empleado del hotel. Según lo ocurrido, hay indicaciones fuertes que mi hermano fue intoxicado con una sustancia peligrosa luego de haber ordenado su cena en la recepción/lobby del hotel. Segun mi hermano fue solamente con el empleado de turno que atendió todo su pedido esa noche del 27 de julio incluso el pago. En su biyetera tenia 3 biyetes de 100 dolares y algunos de 20 y al dia siguiente cuando yo llegue al hotel apesar de que estaba somnoliente y que vomitaba demasiado me informó que le parece raro que el dinero que llevaba en su biyetera habia desaparecido. ¿Pensamos si existe quizas la posibilidad de que más tarde, una persona habría ingresado a su habitación para sustraer todo su dinero? Por que desde ese medio dia que llego al hotel no volvio a salir a ninguna parte.¿pues cómo es posible que habia desaparecido todos los dolares que tenia en su biyetera? Les insto a iniciar una investigación de manera inmediata para esclarecer los hechos y determinar responsabilidades. Acontinuación recapitularé lo sucedido El incidente ocurrió el 27 de julio 2025, aproximadamente a las 21:00 horas, en el Versus hotel en el poblado. Los detalles de lo sucedido.
Kelly (2/5): Very disappointing! - The location was OK, you need to take a taxi to El Poblado. The nearest mall is a 20 min walk, a lot of traffic in front of the hotel. The swimming pool was big, inside and hot. The fitness space was very small. There is a coworking space, but it seems like a lot of locals are working there making a lot of noise. It was too bad there wasn't any possibility to get drinks or a coffee or something. But, Medellin is fantastic! The hotel not so much. I don't understand all the positive reviews (probably friends or something??), but this is not what to expect from a 5 star Hotel. This was the worst we have had in our entire trip in Colombia (or other countries). The room was dirty, the door to the balcony was open when we arrived, so we had some insects inside the room. There is only 1 towel per person, sometimes the room wasn't cleaned. There is an old small fridge which makes a lot of noise during the night. Also, there is a lot of noise coming from outside as the room isn't well isolated. There is no chair or something to sit on in the room, no space to go on your computer or write/read except for your bed. I expected more from the breakfast, it was really small and tasted not so great. If you want a coffee like a cappuccino with your breakfast you have to PAY extra for it. It's not expensive, but not right for a 5 star hotel. You cannot put it on your room, so every day after breakfast you have to wait and pay for your coffee. Some days we had breakfast somewhere else. When checking out they told us we took a bag of chips and we need to pay for that. Well, we didn't so I had to sign a form in Spanish to not pay for it. No idea what we have signed, because they don't have anything in another language than Spanish.

They offer a BathHouse experience on the 3rd floor which is just a JOKE not maintained or clean at all. Sliding Door for balcony is more of a work out to open

Luz Stella (6/5): Hospedaje relámpago, sin superar expectativas. - Muy lejos de todo y sin opciones al interior del hotel. Que no tenía restaurante para la noche. Tocaba si o si salir o pedir domicilio. Había un ruido en la habitación, el aire o algo así. Adicional tenía que salir antes de las 7 a.m. y no pudimos desayunar. Deberían tener opciones para esos casos, sabiendo que el desayuno estaba incluido en el precio, que me pareció muy costoso para los servicios prestados.
DESzzyb (10/5): Wonderful stay at Versus - Everything. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, rooms were clean. The entire hotel was spotless. Pool was warm and lovely, we also appreciated the sauna room, small.gym.but gets the job done. Would stay again. Pool closed at 8pm
284jennelleb (6/5): - The hotel was just okay to me. I upgraded to a balcony suite, the balcony door didn’t lock. Housekeeping kept coming in without permission. We had a do not disturb sign on the door but they kept coming in. They do not have washcloths so bring your own. The food option were not that great. We inquired about spa service and they told it was in the yoga room where there are cameras. Absolutely not. The hallways are dark and sketchy. And every time we flushed our toilet, it made the loudest noise like the wall was going to crash down.

Could have had more variety for a five star hotel like French toast etc. I loved the fresh juices daily . The room is phenomenal. Absolutely worth every penny and the hotel public spaces to die for. We loved the pool, sauna area, everything. Will definitely be back A little more variety for breakfast. Nothing else

Kevin (6/5): - The property itself was good, clean and the breakfast was tailored toward healthy options, although the 7:00 start seemed a little late. The staff was not very friendly and anytime I asked a question, it seemed as if I was imposing upon them. I also had an issue with the coffee that was provided in the room, I used the bag that was provided, and expected room service to replace the next day. When I went to request a replacement, I was told the first one was free and additional servings were 10,000 pesos. A triviality, but would have been nice to know in advance. The location seems a bit far away from anything in walking distance, although the area itself seems safe. We did have 1 good experience with a staff member, Fabio, who always had a smile, a fist bump, and always ready to help with bags or giving directions. Enjoyed the therapy pool but did not have occasion to use the sauna, fitness,or listening room. All in all was not a terrible experience, but if I were to return to Medillin, I would probably look for another hotel, with a focus on service.
Vane_Escudero (10/5): Wonderful place!!!! - Loved my stay. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and had a positive vibe (they also learned my name on the first day). The healthy breakfast was soooo welcome and a relief. I'm a crossfiter and the gym provided almost all the equipment I'd require to train (except for the rope and the fact that the boxes are a bit smaller than usual, but those are just details). Overall, the hotel is exceptional, one of the best hotels I've ever booked. The location is very good, nice and safe, nothing to complain about that, but if you like to walk a lot to get to know around your hotel, it will be kinda difficult (but that's not a fault from the hotel itself, just how Medellin is built). So i'd recommend getting an uber-taxi to get around (it's cheap and fast).

Habitaciones muy amplias, cuentan con todo lo necesario para hacer de su estadia una experiencia muy buena. El Staff siempre muy atento, siempre con la mejor actitud. Nada que mencionar.
