• Johanna (9/5): Highly recommended! - I spent just one night in the apartment, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was outstanding. The staff greeted me with a complimentary welcome drink and were exceptionally helpful throughout my stay. The apartment itself was spacious and beautifully styled. The king‑size bed was incredibly comfortable. Because I departed early, they kindly delivered breakfast directly to the apartment, which was a wonderfully thoughtful touch, it was delicious. Highly recommended! The only downside was the steep stairs leading to the unit, as the property has no elevato. I personally had no issues, but I can see how this could be challenging for guests with mobility concerns, my mother, who recently had knee surgery, found this the only unfavorable aspect.

• David (10/5): - We spent around a week at the Al Alma Suites. Our time there was great, the room was very comfortable in a great location of the city. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. One of the biggest highlights was the brunch, which was one of the best meals we had the whole trip and it was already included everyday. Highly recommended!
• Ankit (10/5): - Great place to stay right in the heart of walled city. Everything is accessible by foot. Vivian (manager) was exceptional and helped us with transportation options to suggesting best places for shopping. Breakfast was exceptionally good! Best I have had across many countries!
• Verified traveler (6/5): Suitable, not my fave - The space is comfortable enough. However, one bedroom, the one with the small balcony is on the second floor above a street on which many "street performers" set up which was loud most nights and kept me up. The tiling is loose in the main bedroom and the faucets have high water pressure which splashed over the bowl. It's affordable for the location, and I felt like I got what I paid for. Location is convenient within the Walled City and easy to get to Getsemani. Breakfast at the restaurant each morning was fresh, filling, and convenient.
• Phillips (4/5): Good free breakfast, but the room was not worth the cost - Air conditioning, good electric showerhead for hot water, included breakfast was delicious, deliveries usually came to the room quickly It was not made clear in the listing that the jacuzzi was not private. It was on the roof, and the roof was under construction. Even though we were told we could still have access, when I asked for it, I was told no. I do not speak Spanish fluently, but I speak it much better than your average tourist, and nonetheless, the staff always seemed annoyed with our requests. The entry was with a fingerprint scan, which was fancy, but the door could have been kicked off the hinges. That summarizes the place, the appearance of luxury on a bad skeleton. It was our most expensive accommodation in Colombia by far, and by far our least satisfying.
• Inesh (10/5): - Amazing location of the apartment and restaurant inside of the walled city. Great walkability and proximity to many other restaurants and boutique shops. Vivian was awesome helping us out with our bags and room while we stayed here. The A/C units were pumping the room full of cold air and it was great to get out of the heat. Food at the restaurant was immaculate, great pricing and everything we ate felt good afterwards and didn’t feel groggy or processed.
• Corey (8/5): Wonderful staff. Very attentive. Great location. - Great location super friendly staff It was very loud because the room was next to the kitchen and the staff arrived at 6:30 and plays music and talks loudly while working.

• Janus (10/5): Breakfast is to die for - The highlights of this stay is without doubt the breakfast which is served at the restaurant almost next door. It is absolutely delicious and the staff there is very kind and very helpful. They forgot our cleaning the first night, which was a bit annoying. Also the spa at the roof could be used. The beds were not very comfy and the apartment was quite worn down, but style was nice. Locations was absolutely excellent.
• Alexander (6/5): No vayan si su llegada es tardía. - A pesar que previo a reservar consulté si era posible llegar luego del horario del check in y me confirmaron que todo era por medio de código en cerradura digital que no había ningun problema, al llegar a la 1 am mi sorpresa fue que no logré ingresar porque no codificaron el codigo y no respondían a ningún número de telefono. Al menos hotels me resolvió una noche en otro lugar, sin embargo no hubo si quiera una disculpa al dia siguiente en la mañana el community manager básicamente me llamó mentirosa, sin siquiera preocuparse por si había logrado resolver de alguna manera. Me escribió a las 2 pm del día siguiente para decirme que todo estaba funcionando perfectamente, tuve que enviarle un video donde evidenciaba que no funcionaba en la madrugada. A lo cual ni asi se disculpó. Al llegar al lugar la persona encargada del lugar, que es diferente al community al menos tuvo el gesto de regalarnos el almuerzo para disculparse. La comida es excelente, el lugar es muy bonito, sin embargo hay varios detalles como moho en el techo de la habitación y el jacuzzi exterior no estaba en funcionamiento. La cama está bien es cómoda, pero por los balcones ingresa bastante ruido, más porque había una reconstrucción en el edificio del frente. Sin embargo la arquitectura de los mismos es hermosa poder salir y tomar algo en el balcón.
• Caleb (6/5): Underwhelming experience leaving you wanting more. - Comfortable bed, easy access, decent wifi, A/C. Nice and easy going host. Cleaning lady was nice Lots of street noise, the windows let it lots of noise. Late night music, people talking, early morning construction. The restaurant food was very mediocre, poorly cooked and slow service. No hot showers. Hall lighting sensor was hard to get to work. Didn’t get any instructions prior to our arrival on how to check in, how to enter the apartment, or what number apartment it was. We stood outside for 30 minutes unable to get in and no one would pick up our calls before we received a text with instructions . Host did not speak english. Linens had stains. No spare towels or hand towels. Only one roll of toilet paper. No instructions for how to use wifi. No local recommendations.

• Butler (10/5): Great location and great hosts in middle of old city Cartagena. - GREAT LOCATION. Very comfortable apartment. Noise was no issue for us. Food was amazing and hosts very generous. Nothing it was great.
• HECTOR (10/5): Fantastic - Our host Vivian was fantastic. She went above and beyond. Whenever we had questions about the area, she answered them and helped us get around. Our room was always serviced and cleaned every day. The restaurant was excellent. Both the hotel staff and restaurant staff were superb. We need more Vivian’s in every hotel. We will be back to Cartagena again.

• Adriana (2/5): Very poor - The location is great and the breakfast too. First, they promised late checkin for an extra cost but it consisted of sending me the information to go into the building and apartment via booking. The information was incomplete which caused us to have to wait in the middle of the night with our luggage while they confirmed the rest of the info. They even missed telling us which of the apartments was ours until we were inside and asked. On the other side, we had to wait one hour for our breakfast one of the days. Not even our drinks were brought in what obviously was a mistake from the waiter. She didn’t come back at any point not even to bring us the food- another waiter had to fix her mistakes. In terms of the accommodation, the apartment has a good enough size, but is not soundproofed which means you hear EVERYTHING from outside- from rappers, to tours, to tourists all night (and day, of course). The apartment is in a long corridor which ends up in the entrance of the restaurant’s kitchen. This kitchen’s door is often open, with a lot of shouting coming from it and the kitchen’s huge trash can in the middle of the corridor, having to pass by to get to the stairs to go outside. The stairs and corridor were also always dirty- which of course leads to cockroaches which we found in our room. Once we went upstairs, to look for the jacuzzi in the terrace and the whole thing left a lot to say. The terrace looks dirty and uncared for. The administrator of the place let us know that the use of the jacuzzi was upon request on the 3rd day of our 4 day stay.. The value for the price of this place is a joke. The service is not great and the apartment has a lot of things to be improved.
• Filipe (7/5): Almost there, but requires some attention - Big spacious apartment right in the heart of Cartagena's old town. Jacuzzi on the rooftop. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. You can hear everything from outside. The windows have a big space between the wall and frames so it's really noisy. The pillows were not fresh, they smelled bad but they were changed upon request.
• Jacopo (7/5): Great location, bad price-quality ratio - Location is great, in the heart of Cartagena, you can walk everywhere. The apartment is big. Flexible check-out time. You can pay by card. Overall, we found the price too high given the service and quality provided. As it is an apartment, there is no front desk and you would always need to communicate to the host via Booking - we only met one person once when we checked in/were given the keys. No one showed us where the swimming pool was, we went ourselves to the rooftop but couldn’t find it. Wi-Fi never worked during our stay. Check-in time is too strict (until 20:30 or so) - we were told an additional amount would have to be paid if we had arrived after that time. Breakfast is at the nearby restaurant - you only have one plate and coffee included, all the rest should be paid by yourself. We found the kitchenette’s sink dirty. No hairdryer provided. In the building there are other people and one of the two rooms is adjacent to one of these apartments - you can hear people walking and talking. Even though the apartment is big, you can hear everything between the two rooms as they are not soundproofed. No complimentary water was provided.

Sometimes it was tricky to communicate what was wanted… like having a cup of tea with milk to drink instead of coffee as I don’t speak Spanish. Lovely decor & vibe and relaxed environment. Easy to an access the old city and walk around. Can be noisy at night especially with rooms that open onto the street via balcony - any way of sound proofing?
• Agishi (10/5): overall it was a wonderful experience - very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. everyone was very nice and accommodating no complaints just that the price went from 157 to 189 when I paid at the facility I don’t know if that was the taxes
• Marcel (10/5): Lovely suites, conveniently located and perfect breakfast. - Al Alma is very close to the conference centre. Picking up keys was easy - Al Alma is a restaurant, and the suites are next door. My suite a beautiful, with two en-suite bedrooms and a very large living room. Breakfast was in the resturant and was extremely good: you can choose anything from the menu (e.g. granola, waffles, bagles) plus coffee and juice. Portions are big and presented lovely. Other colleagues joined to eat there and kept coming back. Owners and personel are lovely but speak little english - expect to use google translate. Nothing
